"Aaaaargh!!!!!!!!"
Yoo-jin clutched his head and screamed.
A backstab. An overwhelming betrayal. No matter how many times he checked, the words wouldn't change.
『Serialization Suspension Notice』
He had never been this furious since finishing his military service and returning to school.
"Son of a bitch... you fucking bastard..."
Yoo-jin clicked the title, his hands trembling. He'd never felt rage this intense before. Somehow, he even felt as though he might cry.
『This is osanj...
Where do I even begin...? I am truly sorry...
I agonized over and over about how I could face all of you with another chapter. But the moment I sat in front of the monitor, my vision swam, and every time I touched the keyboard, my hands shook so badly that I simply could not write...』
In short, the author claimed that writing a sex scene caused such extreme stress that he hadn't been able to continue the series.
Truth or not, it was a load of bullshit from start to finish.
If that was the case, he should never have baited readers with promises of a harem and smut fantasy in the first place. This bastard had deceived his readers from the beginning. He was a particularly malicious fraud.
What followed was even more ridiculous.
『...So I plan to take a break, remove all of the harem content, and remake the story for all ages.
Since I have inflicted an indelible wound on my readers, I will endure even if you throw stones at me...』
"You fucking..."
So that was it! No wonder the parts involving the female characters had felt disjointed, as though chunks were missing. He'd planned this from the beginning!
You bastard author, you had it all planned from the beginning!
Fine. If he wants stones thrown, then stones he'll get.
「sesjoa : Author, you planned this from the very start, didn’t you?」
「osanj(Author) : I’m sorry...」
「sesjoa : You wanted to milk the sex angle without actually writing any sex, is that it?」
「osanj(Author) : I’m sorry...」
「sesjoa : Do you think erotic fiction is a joke?」
「osanj(Author) : I’m sorry...」
Hopeless. No matter what Yoo-jin said, this bastard had only one response: “I’m sorry.” Every word seemed to bounce off a wall, and it only made Yoo-jin angrier.
Yoo-jin kept hammering out abuse, thinking, I’m pissed off, so I’ll make sure you get just as pissed off.
「osanj(Author) : Please refrain from personal attacks. I still did my best.」
Oh. Now he was reacting.
But instead of cooling down, Yoo-jin grew even angrier—no, even more fucking livid. So the readers being angry wasn't his problem, but he didn't like getting insulted himself? Was that it?
「sesjoa : Please... Author... just... the two of them... spemt a happy night togetehr... was typing one lnie like that really so hard you fukcing stupid pice of sjit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!」
The author answered Yoo-jin's sarcasm with sarcasm of his own.
「osanj(Author) : Whoa! I never thought of that O_O!」
One minute later.
-Ding!
[Fusion Fantasy] Legend of the Hero of Another World [Episode 306] NEW
The next episode appeared immediately. Yoo-jin hesitated, unable to bring himself to click it. Should he open it?
This was clearly a trap by that bastard author.
But... even knowing it was a trap, Yoo-jin had no choice but to click.

I gave you exactly what you wanted. Loyalty, loyalty! ^^7
"...You goddamn fucking cuuuunt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
…
"Huff... huff...."
Yoo-jin did his best to calm down. If he completely lost it here, he'd be playing straight into that bastard author's hands.
"Hoo... hoo... whew..."
Alright. He was completely calm. Time to forget that goddamn bastard and go to sleep.
Ah. But first, one last warning.
「sesjoa : I'm putting you on my blacklist and I will never forget you.」
「osanj(Author) : If I remain in your memory, doesn’t that mean I won? ^o^」
"Aaaargh!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
For a moment, Yoo-jin understood the black-haired salaryman who always shrieked “Kieeeek!” while tearing at his own hair.
How the fuck could words like that come out of a human mouth? This dog of a bastard called himself a writer and still refused to let anyone have the last word!
So this was what it felt like to run into creatures who weren't even human! This son of a bitch spoke like a person, but he wasn't a person!
「sesjoa : You fucking bastard, I could write one with my feet. Is a sex scene really that scary????」
For some reason, this time, it was a long while before a reply appeared.
「osanj(Author) : So you’re saying you could write it yourself?」
「sesjoa : YES!!!!!!」
After he posted that, the razor-sharp replies stopped. Had he struck a nerve? Good.
Yoo-jin kept refreshing the page for a while, then huffed and puffed his way to bed.

He opened his eyes to an unfamiliar ceiling.
He sat up and looked around. Pure white walls surrounded him, with marble statues standing here and there. People in white robes resembling priests had gathered around him.
What the hell?
"Where is this?"
He heard murmuring around him. A pattern resembling a magic circle lay on the floor, and around Yoo-jin stood people who, like him, were looking around with faces that said they had no idea what was going on.
"What?"
"Who are you people?"
"Did I drink way too much yesterday...?"
The priests began separating the bewildered people one by one. Their practiced movements suggested they were used to this. A man approached Yoo-jin, who still stood there blankly, and spoke.
"Are you alright?"
"Ah, yes..."
"You must be bewildered to find yourself in an unfamiliar place. But please do not worry. Nothing is wrong."
The man smiled as if to reassure him. When Yoo-jin stayed silent, the man continued.
"I should explain. You are all Earthlings. This is called the Kingdom of Asellus. And all of you have been summoned to this world as agents of the gods and as heroes."
Wh-what? Kingdom of Asellus?
Right... He remembered that name. It was the kingdom from the novel that had betrayed him the previous night. He really had gotten too invested. He needed to wake up, delete it from his favorites, and forget about it.
Yoo-jin slapped his own cheeks. Slap, slap.
"It is not a dream."
The man gently lowered Yoo-jin's hand and continued.
If it wasn't a dream, things were getting kind of serious. Yoo-jin's expression soured, but the man was still smiling.
"Don't worry. If you carry out your mission to the end, we can send you back to your original world. However, this place is quite pleasant as well. Many heroes have chosen to continue living here. And once your mission is complete, a great deal will be granted to you."
It was exactly what he'd read before, though so much time had passed since he read the prologue that the details were hazy.
So he really had been transported into the novel's world. The man's remaining explanation was familiar enough: they'd train, fight demonkind, and carry out quests for the royal family.
"Status Window!"
While Yoo-jin was listening to the explanation, a man in a suit beside him bellowed loudly, then let out exclamations of awe as he stared into empty air.
"It has begun."
Next, a student in a school uniform, and then a soldier with a shaved head.
"Status Window!"
"Status Window!"
"Fireball!"
"He already has a skill...!"
Yoo-jin watched blankly as the others used skills.
They were the protagonist and extras described in the novel. Yoo-jin, however, had not taken over any of them. He was a completely new character who had never appeared in the story.
In that case, why had I come here?
The argument with that bastard author had clearly brought him here. What had he said at the end?
Right. The author had asked whether I could write a smut fantasy myself. That meant I'd come here to do the fucking.
Forget bastard author—he was an Author God. Lord Auth-God himself!
Looking back, he had little attachment to his old life. If the novel's descriptions were accurate, this other world wasn't a bad place. Its science was undeveloped, but magitech had advanced in its place. He already knew the future plot, and if he gained skills on top of that... it was the very definition of a cheat scenario.
And there were alluring heroines too... The pleasant flutter in his chest swelled into a violent pounding.
The corners of Yoo-jin’s mouth crept upward. The priest assigned to him smiled along with him and urged him on.
"Now, you try shouting 'Status Window' as well!"
Yoo-jin bellowed at the top of his lungs.
"Status Window!"

A few days later.
"Hey! What the hell kinda bullshit is this!"
"I'm sorry, but we cannot look after a hero who cannot even use skills! Now please leave!"
"You fucking bastards! Did anyone ask you to drag me here?! If you brought me, don't you have to take responsibility?!"
"We already gave you money, didn't we! Now, farewell!"
-Boom!
The castle gate slammed shut in front of Yoo-jin.
"Goddamn bastards..."
Yoo-jin’s Status Window never appeared, right up to the very end. While the other heroes learned how to use the system and practiced their skills, he stood in a corner of the training ground shouting "Status Window" until his throat was raw, but nothing ever showed up.
That goddamn bastard of an author... He got cussed out a little and decided to screw me over like this. Petty to the core.
The one consolation was the hundred silver coins they had given him on the way out—one gold coin. One gold coin equaled a peasant's annual income, the usual tired cliché.
But a peasant had a house and clothes. Yoo-jin had nothing.
He’d expected a life of running wild in another world and fucking the heroines, but reality was a shithole.
Do Yoo-jin. Age 24. Recently discharged from the military and back in school. Effectively zero credentials. Abandoned alone in another world with no credentials at all.
A perfect setup for dying alone in a ditch. The unfairness of it suddenly hit him all over again.
"Goddammit... Status Window! Status Window! Statuuus Wiiiindoooow!!!!!!"
"Mommy! That man is weird!"
"Shh! Don't look!"
When a shaggy-haired little kid pointed at me, a middle-aged woman dragged the child away as though fleeing.
To be fair, I must have looked bizarre, screaming at empty air. Apparently, stopping children from making eye contact with strange people was the same in this world as it was on Earth.
What was I supposed to do? I felt as though I might cry.
"Stetuz Wimdow! Status! ステータス! 状态窗!"
"E-excuse me... are you alright?"
"Gah!"
I turned around to find a blonde, green-eyed nun looking up at me with concern. I knew this woman: Reni Liberit, a beautiful, puppy-faced heroine.
"Ah... I'm sorry. You've seen something unbecoming."
Still, I was glad she'd spoken to me. I'd almost sunk into a pathetic melodrama. The fact that the nun before me was beautiful certainly helped.
Reni was a heroine I wasn't supposed to meet until later, yet for some reason, I'd crossed paths with her several times inside the castle.
I'd tried speaking to her several times at the castle because I was glad to see a familiar face, and Reni had acted as though she wanted to say something to me too. Each time, however, the good-for-nothing assigned to me had stopped her.
Come to think of it, the people in the castle had deliberately kept the summoned heroes separated by sex: men with men and women with women.
But now that I was outside the castle, no one could interfere. Perhaps that was a good thing.
...Wait, what did that have to do with me? I didn't have a Status Window, and as a dateless virgin, I wasn't particularly used to women anyway. Why had she spoken to me? Did she need something?
"Th-the people at the castle are truly too much. Sending you out all alone like this..."
"Erm... yeah..."
Reni fidgeted as she broached the subject.
"Wh-what are you planning to do now? Have you made any plans?"
Right. What was I supposed to do now? Get a job in another world?
"I've been wondering that myself. For starters, I don't know anything about how things work here... so I suppose I'll look around and try to find work..."
It was the same problem I'd been mulling over ever since my Status Window had failed to appear. The situation felt hopeless, but—
Still, I had to survive.
"But what brings you here?"
Damn. My bad habit had slipped out. I had no experience talking to women, so I was terrible at keeping small talk going and always jumped straight to the point.
Reni looked slightly hurt, but she still answered him earnestly.
"I—if there’s any way I can help you, please let me know. As a priest of the Goddess, I’d like to take some responsibility in my own way..."
"Ah..."
The good-for-nothing assigned to me had shoved a few coins into my hand and thrown me out, yet Reni, whom I'd only crossed paths with a few times at the castle, was far warmer. She really was kind.
"Thank you. But right now, nothing comes to mind."
Reni would eventually become a Saintess. At the moment, though, Yoo-jin couldn’t accomplish anything by joining her. Forget building a harem—I was worse than a pack mule.
"Very well... I'll be staying at the city's church for a while, so if you ever head elsewhere, please be sure to stop by."
"I definitely will."
"Okay... then..."
Reni bowed and walked toward the Church. Before leaving, she looked back at Yoo-jin with an almost yearning expression, but there was nothing he could do for her. I was still a powerless nobody without a Status Window.
I felt as though I might cry. I had just experienced genuine kindness. She was an angel—an absolute angel.
From behind, though, she looked painfully poor. Her plain nun’s habit and worn bundle of belongings made ‘poverty-stricken priest’ seem like the perfect description.
After Reni disappeared from sight, a few raindrops began to fall.
First, I needed somewhere to sleep. The castle had given me one set of local clothes, a bag containing my old tracksuit, and one hundred silver coins.
Yoo-jin entered the nearest inn and secured a room. It was run by a bald, bearded, muscular innkeeper. The rate was twenty copper per night, including breakfast and dinner. When the innkeeper told him there was nowhere cheaper, he decided to stay.
The protagonist bastards lived without a care for money, generously bankrolled by the royal palace. But I had to start from rock bottom, so I needed to be frugal.
I needed to find a way to earn money or leave for a rural village where prices were lower.
It wasn't as though I had no plan at all. According to the original story, the protagonist's party would clear nearly every quest within two years and then make a choice: return to their original world through dimensional transfer, or remain here.
Conveniently, the story said that barely any time passed in the original world—a fleeting instant, a single night's dream, that sort of thing. If so, I only had to endure two years somehow.
Thinking about it, this was effectively a two-year Room of Spirit and Time. It could have been worse. I could have regressed to before my military service... At least this wasn't a military-service regression.
Just as he lay down after forcing himself to see things that way, the Status Window he’d been desperately seeking finally appeared.
[Name: Do Yoo-jin]
[Class: Sex Warrior (性戰士)]
[Description: 「Class: Sex Warrior」 grants experience points through sexual activity.]
"The Status Window is here!"
It was the Status Window he’d been so desperate to see. One part of it was flashing as if to catch Yoo-jin’s attention.
[Special Note: Heat]
[Description: The 「Class: Sex Warrior」 causes the user to enter the Heat State after a set period of time.]
Heat State? What kind of bullshit was this now? Reading the description that followed, Yoo-jin broke out in a cold sweat.
[Death occurs upon reaching a certain stage.]
[Time until Heat State onset: 00:05:29]
...What the hell was this?
