Loyalty +++
I spent the days hustling through a packed schedule. There were just so many new businesses coming under my wing, and each one was a massive beast on its own—familiarizing myself with their details alone ate up a ton of time. But more than that, communicating with all the people involved dragged on way longer than expected.
To sum it up roughly, it was like what I'd done at Shinmirae Daily, but rolled out across all these other companies. Places like the massive Pyongyang factory Grandpa gave me or the Jeju Modern Art Museum from Seon-yul noona—when you're just talking about them, you can wrap it up neatly as "the factory" or "Jeju Modern Art Museum." But once you dive into their actual structures, it's a nightmare to lump them together simply.
The factory was more like an entire industrial complex—huge buildings, countless wings, and a swarm of people. Drilling down to department level, you're looking at thousands of them. The art museum was the same deal, just on a different scale. Especially there, it was split into big sections like the Art Hall, Cultural Relics Hall, and Education Hall, each with its own vibe, different staff roles, and completely distinct company cultures. It was intriguing but complicated as hell.
That's why even a quick overview and rebuilding reward systems tailored to each role took a shitload of time and effort. And that was just the start? Hell no.
I had to swing by my existing outfits too—like Goryeo Entertainment and its subsidiary Rainbow Miracle, or the Nokono-go division—to feel up some celebrities along the way. Dropped into the Snow White Princess PMC to boost morale, and so on. New Year's check-ins like that across the board, and none of it was quick. I barely slept for days straight.
"So damn busy."
Even cranking through the work like this, the pile of shit needing my attention kept growing. Baldness was coming for me soon. Just handling my original businesses meant fielding reports and making calls multiple times a day as routine. Now I'd inherited two behemoths way bigger than any of mine? My head was spinning.
"What the fuck, why's this thing so goddamn huge?"
"Length 299 meters, total displacement around 99,000 tons."
"...That's basically an aircraft carrier."
"I heard it's on the smaller side compared to same-class container ships."
"Jesus... Comparing a yacht to a container ship is nuts enough, but not getting outclassed by one is even nuttier."
Today, the super yacht from Go Ha-young docked at the temporary dock on my Mu-yeol Land. It was supposed to arrive earlier, but port facilities weren't fully ready, so it was delayed three days. We rented space at Incheon Port in the meantime. The bill was in the billions, but what can you do? I charged it smartly to the card White Sis gave me.
"Fucking majestic."
Would I ever see something this colossal again in my life? Even from afar, it was jaw-dropping. Not just the length—the height was insane. Like slapping together apartment buildings end-to-end for 299 meters. As a personal ultra-luxury super yacht, sure, but if you crammed people in hard, it could fit 100,000 easy.
Vrooooom—!
A massive roar echoed from the yacht. It was about to berth.
"Wanna take her for a spin?"
"Nah. First ride's gotta be with White Sis. Gotta keep promises."
"Then we'll head in, prep stuff, and snap some pics. Great for invites."
"Do it."
Sua led the secretaries, barking orders. They scattered everywhere.
Pics... smart move. Pics.
I snapped one too, framing the super yacht to fill the screen. Then blasted it to chats like the one with Go Ha-young, Go Ha-yan, and the Ko sisters group, showing off my glee. Gotta make the gift feel worth it.
No SNS post though—I don't have an account yet. Maybe time to make one?
- My aircraft carrier's better tho
Gominji jumped in first in the group chat. You could tell it was her just from the notification vibe, even without checking.
Perfect line to start shit with a friend. Like pulling the "your mom's" card on a buddy fresh from a car crash. Go Ha-yan pounces right away.
Go Ha-yan went silent. Didn't wanna deal anymore.
She bails, and...
Haha. Caught in the middle...
Ha-yan leaves, Gominji invites. No block function on this dumbass app—she's stuck.
Gominji won't let Ha-yan go. Probably glued to her phone, grinding away.
"Ocean Legacy" is an ultra-luxury super yacht crafted for an exclusive circle of ultra-wealthy owners, redefining the ultimate possibilities of seafaring lifestyle with bold ambition. Boasting overwhelming specs—299 meters in length and 99,000 tons displacement—this colossal vessel transcends mere transportation.
"Wh-what the hell is this...!"
I yelped out loud, and
...Go Seon-yul's monster wall of text nuked the Gominji vs. Ha-yan war instantly.
The sheer volume overwhelmed us.
Gominji surrendered on the spot.
