Twists of Fate
Life is full of twists and turns. Back when I was a kid, I once asked a magical girl who'd just taken down a kaijin a single question.
"Sis, what do I gotta do to help magical girls like you?"
She wasn't popular at all, but she still answered that random kid's question kindly.
"Cheer for sis?"
"Already doing that."
It was something anyone could do, so of course I was.
"Then... buy some merch or something...?"
"Already doing that too."
Saving up money as a kid was tough, but I made it happen somehow.
"Hmm... How about becoming a manager at the Magical Girl Association?"
"Ooh..."
Just like she said, I became an Association manager and tried to help out as many magical girls as I could.
"...Mister, what are you doing?"
"Helping you."
"...This?"
There were times I got chewed out after offering myself up as a magic target for practice.
"Mister...?"
"Cough... Better now, right?"
"What are you doing! There's blood...!"
I nearly died throwing myself at a kaijin to shield a magical girl, but it was pretty fun overall.
"Get lost, you piece of trash."
Then office politics at the Association got me canned.
Life is full of twists and turns, and somehow, I ended up with a chance to become a magical girl myself.
"If you don't wanna die right this second, contract with me and become a magical girl."
I nearly lost my life in the process, but hey, now I can help magical girls, so that's great.
