Money Is Always Right
Money is always right. If Solaris was an ironclad airship, then the summon the dwarf presented was a massive sail-less vessel. Like Solaris, it had large and small propellers mounted along its hull to keep it aloft, and somehow it was flying through the sky. Well, of course—this is a fantasy world! Anyone trying to apply common sense or science to something like this is no different from an idiot at a magic show desperately trying to figure out the trick.
“Whoa…”
“How does it feel to see an airborne aircraft carrier in person? It may lack Solaris’s durability and firepower, but it has plenty of advantages instead. It’s much faster, carries its own aircraft inside, and dominates aerial combat. It can even bombard the ground with its cannons. You could call it the ruler of war.”
“It looks impressive, but the maintenance costs must be insane, right?”
The dwarf let out a cough and fell silent. I’d clearly hit the mark. I was already bleeding gold keeping Solaris running—if I started hauling this thing around, I’d be broke in an instant. I could barely afford repairs as it was; why would I add another massive expense?
“Aigoo, looks like our dear administrator is planning to turn the applicant into a car-poor, penniless beggar. What’s the point of living any longer?”
“Please calm down, Marquelon. This is unavoidable. Have you forgotten what I said? Great power always demands an equally great price.”
“Then just give me the money instead!”
“Come now, you can earn money with summons, but you can’t exactly buy a specific summon with money, can you?”
He had a point. I couldn’t argue with the logic. After some negotiation, I managed to wrangle a flying summon meant for long-distance travel rather than combat. I wasn’t planning to start a war anytime soon, and there was no need to bring a chainsaw to kill a chicken. The rank wasn’t SSR, but I still secured a fine airship. It was an ironclad vessel with its sails removed and various propulsion and levitation devices integrated into a rather stylish design. Though smaller than Solaris or the aerial battleship I’d seen earlier, it looked more than spacious enough for Tirga, Lati, and me.
Grade: SR+
An airship embodying the pinnacle of magi-tech, built with anti-gravity devices and floating stones. Its sturdy hull can withstand any environment, and its swift mobility will deliver passengers to their destination in no time. However, it carries no armaments whatsoever and is unsuitable for combat.
The description was so well-written it actually impressed me. Especially when I remembered how Solaris had been rendered useless by air currents. At the dwarf’s gesture, the airship descended, allowing me to inspect the interior. It wasn’t as large or luxurious as Solaris, but it was perfectly fine for travel. Compared to some stinking medieval inn, this was a five-star hotel.
“Well? What do you think, Marquelon?”
“I like it. Deal’s done. By the way, there’s something I’ve been wondering about.”
“What is it?”
“I met a manager like you up north. She said that if we don’t take down the heads of each faction, this world will be destroyed. Is that true?”
The annoying dwarf burst into laughter at my words. It was irritating to hear someone laugh right after I spoke. When I threatened to cancel the deal, he finally stopped.
“M-my apologies. There are plenty of crazy managers among us, just like the applicants, but I never expected you to actually believe that one.”
“So it’s not true?”
“True or not, it doesn’t matter. That was just that manager’s personal theory—pure speculation. The idea that mere project applicants could destroy the world? The higher-ups would never allow it, so you don’t need to worry.”
The dwarf tried to reassure me, but something still felt off. Was one of them—him or Admi—lying? Still, Admi had offered me that ridiculously fertile land as a fief if I completed the task, so whether it was true or not, it was worth attempting. If they tried to back out or play dumb, I’d just bomb Ameri’s house.
“Anyway, I’m counting on you, Marquelon.”
“Fine, I’ll do it. What’s the deadline and any special conditions?”
“Please finish within this year. The sooner the better. If you handle it quickly, I’ll provide additional rewards.”
The dwarf pulled a ticket from his pocket. It looked similar to the special gacha ticket I’d obtained after killing the self-proclaimed hero. If they were offering resources and feed, I had no choice. I might as well take a tank and blow the heads off those cultist bastards performing their secret rituals right now. But why had my crotch been itching since earlier? It felt like someone was sucking on my precious parts…
“Has Master woken up?”
“Huk!”
The culprit was none other than Tirga. This lewd female warrior had been performing oral on me since early morning. Meanwhile, Lati—who had spent a passionate night with me—was still sleeping soundly beside us. How could she do something so perverted?
“Stop it, Tirga. I’ve got a lot to do today. If you start this in the morning—”
“Lies! Master’s cock wants sex right now.”
The strongest female warrior and giantess Tirga refused to listen. Before I could say more, she declared she couldn’t hold back any longer, climbed on top of me, and in an instant we were joined. The sensation of her warm, soft, and moist flesh enveloping me forced me to become a beast.
“Aah, I love doing it with Master so much.”
“Shh, don’t make noise. You’ll wake Lati.”
Tirga lowered her head, sealed my mouth with a kiss, and began moving her hips even faster. A kiss could muffle my voice, but there was nothing we could do about the wet sounds or the slap of flesh. Still, there was no reason or time to worry about that during sex. We’d already done it as a threesome—what difference would getting caught make? The stimulation was intense. Having sex while kissing with our bodies pressed tightly together… After a suffocating kiss, I laid Tirga down, hooked her long legs over my shoulders, and resumed thrusting. Ah, this was the mating press.
“Hngh, haah…”
“Kuh, Tirga, I’m coming.”
Tirga desperately trying not to make a sound was so cute and lovable. Seeing such a gap moe from that strong female warrior in bed was irresistibly arousing. And so, I ended up shooting my first load of the morning without meaning to. Thanks to our intense sex, Lati unfortunately woke up. Her tightly closed eyes snapped open.
“Boss, you sure have a lot of energy this morning.”
“No, this is… Tirga started it.”
“That’s unfair, doing it without me. Not only did you take my first time, Boss, but now I can’t live without you anymore, so you have to take responsibility. I’ve heard that line somewhere before, but once you know the taste, it’s terrifying. Now that I’ve had Tirga, I have to do it with Lati too.”
Thus, I ended up having two shots drained from me first thing in the morning, and in return, an enormous fatigue washed over me. Meanwhile, both women’s faces glowed as if they’d applied expensive cosmetics. I still had so much to do today…
“Welcome to the Stadel branch. How may I help you?”
“Excuse me, I’m here to see Hureyu. I’m a fan and would like to meet her.”
We left the hotel, stopped by a shop to buy clothes and simple weapons, disguised ourselves as adventurers, and headed to the adventurer’s guild. As the saying goes, if you want to catch a tiger, go to its den—so if you want to find adventurers, go to the guild. The receptionist girl replied in a businesslike tone that Hureyu had left several hours ago to explore a dungeon. If we hadn’t been busy having sex this morning, we might have caught her, but regret comes too late no matter how fast you are.
“Could I get information about that dungeon?”
“You don’t look like you have a very high rank. That place is extremely dangerous unless you’re an S-rank high-ranker.”
“Don’t worry about me, miss. Oops, my hand slipped.”
I smoothly slipped a gold coin to the receptionist, and she immediately spilled everything she knew. As expected, the power of money was great, and gold coins were god. The dungeon was quite far from the city, but that didn’t matter to someone like me who had convenient transportation and summons. After greasing her palm a bit more with the excuse that I’d lost my adventurer card, I was able to get new ones issued—not just for me, but for Tirga and Lati as well. Now we could freely come and go from the city.
Disguised as adventurers, our group quickly left the city. Once we were far enough away, we decided to summon our ride. The camping car was comfortable, but its mobility wasn’t great, so it was time to try something else. The airship the manager gave me seemed excessive, so I set that aside for now. I’d done so many gacha pulls that I couldn’t even remember what was in the lower ranks, so I scrolled through the list and found a suitable vehicle.
Grade: R
An off-road vehicle born from the civilian conversion of a military small tactical vehicle. Even in this vast and harsh otherworld, you have nothing to fear with this vehicle. If a small, insignificant monster blocks your path, just step on the accelerator and run it over. If it’s not a monster but a band of thieves blocking you? Run them over too!
I never thought I’d get to drive this monster that would be perfect for the vast lands of America or Australia. It definitely had a menacing bumper on the front—if a tiny goblin got in the way, I probably wouldn’t even feel it.
“Ooh, Master, what a cool carriage.”
“An iron carriage that moves without horses… the more I look at it, the more amazing it is.”
“This is science and magic combined. Get in, quick.”
My body itched with the desire to see that bookish guy as soon as possible. Plus, gripping the steering wheel made my blood boil. On the way, we encountered a group that clearly looked like bandits, but just as the description said, I simply rammed straight into them. Whether the bandits blocking the road died or became cripples, I didn’t know. Some of the enraged group chased after us, but no human could outrun a vehicle no matter how fast they were. How dare they block the road? They probably wanted to collect tolls, but too bad for them.
