Without another word, he turns and gets back in the jeep, leaving.
In the medical ambulance behind the truck, Liang Ziyu drives. Zhao Ru opens the door and jumps out, still wearing a blood-stained doctor’s sterile gown. She walks over to An Ran’s window with a clean face.
Watching Liang Ziyu lead the team away, she asks with some gloating, “Has your ability been exposed?”
Just now, her ambulance follows An Ran’s truck. She sees the trees on the roadside shaking wildly, and An Ran’s car window stretch out a green vine. It would be a lie to say she isn’t shocked. Everyone present witnesses the trees moving without wind and An Ran forcing the plants to grow at a speed like fast-forwarding several times.
Everyone is quite shocked. So far, whether they have seen or not, no wood-type ability user ever causes plants to sprout so quickly!!!
So when Zhao Ru sees Zhang Boxun talk to An Ran briefly, she runs over to ask if An Ran’s secret is exposed.
An Ran sits in the car, frowning at Zhao Ru. “You should worry about yourself first. Tiesi Village is short of water.”
“So we have to form a united front.” Zhao Ru smiles at An Ran. “You don’t betray me, and I won’t betray you. If you get caught, I can tell Zhan Lian and ask him to rescue you.”
“Enough already, you’re everywhere!” An Ran rolls her eyes at Zhao Ru in annoyance.
Zhao Ru’s behavior is unclear, and whether her words are true or false is unknown. When Zhang Boxun leaves just now, everything at the barrier is quiet. It doesn’t look like soldiers are coming to catch An Ran to use her as a granary. It seems there won’t be a big problem.
Yun Tao, driving, feels the same. Tiesi Village is in chaos, Zhang Boxun is anxious to find rescue, and probably doesn’t have time to expose An Ran’s secret.
But how do they get on the expressway and head to Northern Hubei? Yun Tao realizes they are lost!
