Wang Xin suddenly jumps up, pointing at Anran on the sofa, his anger flaring. "I gave you face, but you don’t know how to appreciate it! How can a woman like you think you can fight with me?"
He doesn’t leave. Instead, he turns around and starts walking toward Anran’s kitchen, clearly intending to search the refrigerator. In his mind, treating a woman like Anran is simple: take away all her food and water, just like he did to Liu Yuan across the street. Eventually, Anran will end up like Liu Yuan, forced into submission.
Anran’s anger boils over. This is her home. Why does Wang Xin have the nerve to act so arrogantly here?
She gets up, follows him into the kitchen, grabs his arm, and shouts, "This is my home! Stay quiet!"
Maybe it’s due to having killed so many zombies, or perhaps because her special abilities have awakened, but Anran feels stronger now. Normally, she wouldn’t be able to move a man like Wang Xin, but today, when she grabs his arm, she nearly pulls him to the ground.
It’s close, but Wang Xin, after all, is a man, and though his body isn’t mutated, his strength is about equal to hers.
He steadies himself, his anger boiling over as he turns around and punches Anran in the face. She turns her head, and the corner of her mouth splits open, a taste of blood flooding her mouth.
That punch shatters something inside Anran, a stubborn resolve she had held onto. Her expression hardens, and without hesitation, she swings her fist at Wang Xin, throwing herself at him in a frenzy.
The two of them tumble to the ground, fighting fiercely, evenly matched for a moment.
But Wang Xin has likely fought others many times before, while Anran is still a novice in combat. Before long, Wang Xin has her pinned, his legs pressing down on her thighs. His expression grows lecherous as he tries to tear her clothes off.
Although Anran is dirty and bruised, she is still a woman. She lies there on the cold floor, struggling beneath his weight. In a panic, she suddenly remembers her knife. Reaching behind her waist, she screams, "Liu Yuan! Sister Yuan, come help me! Liu Yuan!!!"
From the nursery, Liu Yuan hears Anran’s cries. She quickly covers Hengheng’s mouth, squats down, and whispers softly to him, "Hengheng, be good. Now isn’t the time to be upset. Mom needs to help Aunt Anran, or the four of us will all be forced to die here today."
Liu Yuan is usually direct and straightforward. Now, cornered, she sees that Wang Xin is alone, and Anran is holding him off. It’s the perfect moment to escape and fight back. So, leaving Hengheng in the nursery, Liu Yuan dashes out.
She sees Wang Xin on top of Anran, slapping her head from side to side. Anran struggles, her hand fumbling at her waist, unable to find the knife.
Liu Yuan quickly approaches the entrance, checks the peephole to confirm no one else is outside, and rushes to Wang Xin. With one swift move, she knocks him off Anran.
Now the fight shifts to Liu Yuan and Wang Xin.
Wang Xin, knocked down, immediately grabs Liu Yuan. They roll across the marble floor, and soon he is on top of her, grabbing her neck with both hands. His anger boils over as he spits, "You two bitches... I’ll kill you!"
