Shitty Gamer (1)
The next day, I got the laptop and fiddled with it in my goshiwon room. Even though my Rall account was gone, I still needed a computer, so I'd bought one.
"Fuck... what a waste of a perfectly good account."
Thinking about it being deleted made my vision blur with rage. I'd decided after becoming an adult to quit gaming mostly, and I couldn't play ranked anyway, so I'd been stuck with a human account... but still, all that effort up till now, gone? It pissed me off. Imagining all my student days' hard work vanishing in an instant nearly brought tears to my eyes...
"Fuck it. Since it's gone, I'll just start fresh."
I plopped the new laptop on the desk and installed Rall right away. Coming to this world had stressed me out a bit anyway—might as well blow off steam with some gaming. Once the install finished, I breezed through the tutorial and jumped into a normal match.
In the pick screen, I waited for the team comp to shape up.
"Oh... a science noob, huh?"
Seeing the enemy team quick-pick Heisuo told me their comp was gonna be trash. Fuck it, whatever. I ditched any thoughts of team play and went full space marine build.
The game started, and things went okay until mid-game when we hit the crucial blue buff spawn.
That fucking bitch? Was it 'cause I hadn't played Rall in forever? My blood pressure was spiking like crazy, and it felt like shit. Still, I held back... It was always a game that asked about your family background and stressed you out. This was more disease than entertainment, and I was willingly infecting myself, so I planned to suck it up and enjoy it quietly.
The game dragged into late game, and we were playing like we were down a man anyway.
In the end, that one tip Heisuo completely ruined the game. Everyone's mental was shattered, and we lost.
That fucking Heisuo bitch... I looked up her match history and sent a friend request. The cunt wasn't queuing new games—just sitting online? She accepted after a sec, so I fired off a message.
This fucking bitch? "So?" She didn't even realize her fuckup? I nearly snapped, but barely held on. Fine... dealing with this retard more would give me cancer and kill me. Just ignore and queue another.
Did this kid just call me ass at the game? I'm immune to regular insults and family disses, but game flaming? I can't take that shit. Being called bad at games is the one thing I can't stomach... Should I really go IRL?
As my head spun with thoughts, another message popped up.
This bitch knew exactly how to get under my skin. I was fuming, but tried to ignore and close the chat.
My curses weren't landing, so she went straight to family disses. I'm immune to that shit—hell, I wish that woman was dead. So it didn't faze me.
Snap. My last thread of sanity broke.
Regular curses? Whatever, I'd heard worse homeless. Family disses? I hate her anyway—wish she'd die. But long life? Healthy forever? You fucking bitch? You're dead today.
The magic word to rile anyone up cheap and easy.
She bit the bait hard—her typing sped up. Anyone could tell she was raging through the screen.
I slammed the desk, stood up, quit the game, threw on a hoodie, and prepped to head out.
In this world, women are 9:1 odds, so that trash bitch was probably female. Doesn't matter—I hit women too. Who cares if they're strong here? I was dead set on killing that fucker, no matter what. I stormed out.
"Huh? Oppa, where you going?"
"Huh... Jeong-ah?"
Stepping out, Jeong-ah spotted me and smiled. But right now, hitting that address fast mattered more than her, so I muttered sorry and tried to slip past.
"Oppa? Where you rushing off to?"
"...Meeting a friend."
"A friend? What friend?!"
"Internet friend..."
"What?!"
Jeong-ah stared at me in shock at my answer. She must think I have no friends... well, true IRL, but if we dissed families online, that counts as friends, right?
"Oppa... what if it's dangerous? Don't go."
"Nah... gotta go."
I wanted to thank her for worrying, but time was ticking. Sorry, Jeong-ah—I said it and headed out.
"B-but... going alone's risky. Want me to come?"
"No, it's fine. Quick in and out."
She offered, but I said no. Opened the door—cold air slapped my cheek. Pulled the hood low, steeled myself.
'That fucking bitch is dead.'
I could take her insulting me, but wishing my parents long life? No fucking way.
Deep breath, then I started walking. What’s good for IRL PK? Bats are sold where? I’d thought about really beating her ass with one... but nah, that’s straight crime. I get male perks, but assault won't get a pass just 'cause I'm a guy.
What’s something that looks like a joke? I pondered hard.
Spotted a baguette hanging in a Po-ri Pa-gette shop. Grabbed and bought it.
Baguette – 4,300 won
"Hm... fucking rock hard."
One whack to the head with this? Perfect. Real bat screams crime, but bread? Looks like a prank, and I can just eat the evidence. Dumb as shit, but I seriously bought it.
"Slice it for you?"
"Nah, whole thing's fine."
Kept it unsliced, bagged, and headed out.
"Whoa, check that guy's build."
"Holy, a guy's out alone? No escort?"
"Physique tho..."
Whispers from women heading to the bus stop. Ignored 'em hard, eyes closed, waiting for the bus. From this stop to the PC bang destination: 30 minutes.
Imagining that cocky Heisuo bitch waiting... my fists trembled just thinking about it.
Vroom—
"Here it comes."
Boarded the upper deck. Stared at the baguette in my hand, steeling my resolve.
'You fucking bitch... today's your funeral.'
I'd show that Heisuo hell itself—what a massive sin it was to drag my parents into this. Sat down, determined.
"Holy... guy's out solo."
"Brave dude? Should I say hi?"
Nearby chatter, but today I tuned it out. Focused on getting to the PC bang fast.
Today... I'm definitely killing you.
