Dungeon Conquest
As the sun rose, the party inside the tents began to stir.
Kang Dohyun was the first up. He pulled a large water jug from his inventory and washed himself, then waited as his brother and Lee Gaeun — who had spent the late hours of the night thoroughly enjoying themselves — emerged from their tent a bit later.
"Hey, go wash up. You both sweated a lot last night. Gaeun-ssi, take a shower too. I'll get breakfast ready inside the tent."
"Ah... uh."
"Yes..."
At his brother's words, Kang Dohun gave an awkward smile, and Lee Gaeun couldn't bring herself to look up. Once Dohyun had stepped back into the tent to give them privacy, he called out,
"Hurry up and wash."
"Yes."
The two of them began showering right there on the road.
Kang Dohun used the water from the purification barrel without a second thought, but Lee Gaeun's face was flushed red with embarrassment.
"What's wrong?"
"It's so embarrassing."
Their sex had lasted until dawn, and toward the end her moans had grown loud enough that Dohyun couldn't possibly have missed them.
"It's fine with Hyung."
"No, what's fine about it! Seriously..."
Lee Gaeun pouted, but the sight only made Dohun more aroused.
"I can't hold back. Let's do it right now?"
"You're crazy!"
She refused, but Dohun's member was already pointing skyward. And then—
"Haaah! Ehh! Haaang! Th-that's enough! Haaah! H-here... haaah!!"
They were in the middle of the road, but in the end she couldn't escape being conquered by Dohun, reduced to moaning helplessly.
After a somewhat lengthy preparation period, the two brothers finished eating breakfast and got ready.
"Be careful."
Lee Gaeun looked at Dohun with worried eyes, but he replied,
"Don't worry. Just wait here carefully."
At that, Dohyun thought, Right in the middle of a good moment. The two of them gazed at each other with affectionate eyes for a long while before—
"Alright, let's go."
"Yeah."
Once he finally spoke, his younger brother climbed onto the drone Dohyun had summoned.
The two brothers rode the drone to the northern runway of Muan International Airport.
Four planes that had never taken off sat on the runway, surrounded by an enormous horde of zombies.
"Let's clear the north side first."
"Got it."
"Jump off first."
At his brother's order, Dohun immediately leapt from the drone.
Thwack!
The moment he landed, he smashed a zombie's head in with a single punch. Immediately—
"Guhk!"
Dozens of nearby zombies spotted him and charged, but—
Wham!
He met them with a dazzling counter-kick.
Whoosh, thwack! Whoosh, thwack! Shing, wham!
With elegant martial arts, he didn't let a single attack land, countering and slaughtering the zombies one after another.
In the middle of the runway, Dohun's fists and kicks smashed zombie heads like melons — it was so spectacular it looked like a scene straight out of a movie.
"Wow, that's really cool."
Dohyun admired his brother's fighting, but more and more zombies were gathering around Dohun.
"I'll jump down too."
He needed to draw some aggro away, so he landed a short distance to the side and—
Click, boom!
He started with the shotgun, firing a magic-infused shell from the shotgun pistol. The blast dealt area damage to dozens of zombies at once.
"Guaaak!"
Zombies swarmed toward him as well, and Dohyun swung the hand axe he held in his other hand.
Thwack!
With an axe in one hand and a shotgun in the other, he began clearing the zombies.
While the brothers cleaned out the airport, Lee Gaeun stayed behind at the base camp, quietly guarding the tents.
Occasionally a lone zombie wandered near the tents, but there weren't many, so she could handle them on her own.
Plus, most of the zombies had been drawn to the airport runway by the sound of Dohyun's shotgun, so almost none came to the base camp.
I wonder if Dohun-oppa is okay?
In the quiet base camp, she worried. She was so concerned about her man, Kang Dohun.
Even if he's strong... that many zombies...
She waited anxiously at the base camp, her heart racing.
About two hours later, a drone appeared in the distance. When it arrived at the base camp, the two brothers — covered in blood — stepped off.
"Haaah..."
"That was tough."
They collapsed onto the ground the moment they got off the drone.
"You worked hard! Drink some water first."
Lee Gaeun brought them water, and as they quenched their thirst and rested, they began talking.
"Dohun, how many did you kill?"
At his brother's question, he checked his zombie coin count and replied,
"I got 397."
"Really? I got 414."
They had hunted hard for two hours, but the total number of zombies they killed was only around 800.
"Hyung? Is that right?"
"Doesn't seem like a good approach, does it?"
Their stamina drain was far too severe. It had only been two hours, but the exhaustion was overwhelming.
"And you used too much energy yesterday. You went all the way until this morning, so your stamina had to drop a bit."
"....."
At those words, neither Dohun nor Lee Gaeun had anything to say.
"But regardless, this isn't the right way to do it."
At Dohyun's conclusion, his younger brother nodded in agreement.
After a short rest, Dohun and Dohyun washed the blood off their bodies with water, then continued their conversation while eating jerky.
"Hyung, how many zombies are left?"
"Roughly... 3,000?"
"What? We killed over 800, and there are still 3,000 left?"
"That's what I detected with my sense."
The number of remaining zombies was far higher than expected.
"At this rate, it'll take at least four days, maybe five or more..."
At his younger brother's words, Dohyun agreed.
Their current hunting method was draining stamina far too quickly.
When stamina drops, so does concentration, making it more dangerous to hunt large numbers of zombies. To hunt safely while maintaining good stamina, two hours was the limit.
"What should we do?"
"Yeah, what do we do?"
The two of them kept thinking while eating jerky.
While the brothers were eating, Lee Gaeun brought over corn soup, and it naturally became lunch.
As they ate and talked, they reached a conclusion.
"This won't work. We need to use fire."
"Yeah, fire's the best option."
To kill the gathered zombies all at once, the most practical method was to use fire.
After lunch, the two of them rode the drone toward the hangars at the airport.
The hangar doors were closed, and there were quite a lot of zombies around it, so—
Let's go to the rooftop.
Dohyun and Dohun landed on the hangar's rooftop. As they searched the roof, Dohun discovered a staircase leading down.
"Hyung, there's a stairway down here."
The two of them carefully descended, and—
Grrr...
There were many people inside the hangar who had turned into zombies.
Let's take care of these.
Dohyun conveyed his intention with a hand signal, Dohun nodded, and the two began quietly moving through the hangar, eliminating the zombies inside.
In twenty minutes, the brothers had silently cleared every zombie from every corner of the hangar.
With the zombies dealt with, the brothers were physically exhausted, but—
"Hurry and look around."
They began searching for what they needed. And soon, they found it.
"Hyung, here it is."
Where Dohun pointed, there was a drum, and inside—
"It's full of fuel."
"Oh."
There was a large stockpile of aviation fuel.
Gathering the aviation fuel was easy.
"We have plenty of empty containers in the inventory, right?"
"Plenty."
The inventory held several large water jugs filled with water for storage, and there were also quite a few empty large jugs left over from use.
Dohun pulled the empty large water jugs from the inventory.
"Fill these with fuel."
The two of them filled the empty large jugs with aviation fuel and put them back in the inventory.
After gathering a considerable amount of aviation fuel, Dohyun and Dohun returned to the base camp by drone from the hangar rooftop.
With the aviation fuel secured, the plan they had been thinking about became very simple.
"We just burn the zombies with this, right?"
"Yeah, we pour the fuel in advance, and when the zombies come on top of it, we burn them all."
"Save some fuel in the inventory to pour later if needed."
Dohyun studied the map, thinking about where to pour the aviation fuel and how to lure the zombies.
"Now that I think about it, rather than the two of us luring the zombies..."
He naturally glanced at Lee Gaeun, and Dohun, catching his brother's intention, said,
"Hyung, no. Gaeun-ssi doesn't need to be part of the plan."
He objected, but—
"I'll do it! I have speed-related skills too! I can do it! I'm confident I can lure the zombies!"
Dohun was hesitant, but Lee Gaeun also wanted to participate in the plan. In a situation like this, she wanted to prove her worth.
