The Egg Chamber I Want to Kill
Gang Minseo was starting to pull off a pretty decent party leader role, but with eight streamers in this ten-man group, things were predictably noisy.
Thanks to the streamers' professional ethics—keeping their mics unmuted, at least—it felt like hanging out with friends. Not bad at all.
And Minseo, who hadn't mastered support for nothing, quickly grasped the info I fed her and took the lead.
"This time, I'll mark the skull ones... Oh, those wandering mobs! Just take them out first, yeah! Those ones!"
I'd only taught her how to properly split up those linked groups of three or four, and she was adapting like a pro.
Technically, pulling mobs one by one like this was called pulling, and gunners were better at it than mages. But since this party's sole gunner was Daydream, we decided not to bother him.
His personality wasn't that bad, but... no need to risk building favor by dumping the grunt work on him.
"Ugh... this stretch feels kinda boring, sis."
"Doesn't mean you wanna clump 'em all up, right?"
"Duh! We'd wipe like last time! Boring's a blessing!"
If they hadn't wiped even once since entering the dungeon, the viewers—and streamers—might've pushed to just clump and burst. But after that glorious wipe, no one complained about Minseo's careful splitting of the trash packs.
Egg Chamber
"Ooh, guys! We've got some open space now!"
"What open space? Look at all these eggs."
"Wait, why are these eggs all spiky? Won't they rip everything on the way out?"
"Ijeye, what the hell kinda talk is that?! Are you insane?!"
We'd taken out the first miniboss and emerged from the narrow corridor into a wide hall leading to the second floor. The streamers immediately went nuts.
This was the infamous egg room, after all. Wiping once here wouldn't be the worst—
"No, shit... Uh, sorry about that, everyone. I've got a bit of an emergency..."
"Huh? What's up, Sky?"
"I was, uh, doing some... coins, and..."
"Ah~ Go handle it! Coins come first!"
"Pfft... Guess they all buy the 'emergency' excuse."
"Harin, you invest in coins too?"
"Sis! Even elementary kids know coins these days!"
Ridiculous.
"Alright then... this room..."
Minseo, snorting and hopping in place, suddenly froze and whispered to me.

"Whoa... Minseo's hitting me up the second it looks tricky?"
"She's not usually like this, but with eight streamers..."
"Yeah, her stream's pushing 10k viewers alone."
Combined with the others, that's over 50k watching. No way she'd risk a screw-up in front of that crowd.
"I get it. Fun mistakes are one thing; frustrating ones suck."
Back in Lost of Fantasy's original days, bosses with finely crafted patterns were rare. Most were brute-force spec-checks with half-assed "patterns" like in Moonlight Spire.
They leaned hard on the dungeon's sheer bullshit factor over solid design. And the most blatant trap was right here in this Egg Chamber—perfect for a quick wipe if you didn't know the trick.
"Aha... so the hatchlings are the trap..."
"Heh..."
Im Harin, peeking at chat while glued to my arm, piped up.
"What?"
"Sis, how'd you know about the hidden boss?"
"Saw a Luwich streamer die here last week over dinner."
"Whoa, you watch foreign streams too?"
"Foreigners are more... exploratory than us. Tons love wasting time wandering the open world, hyped over random finds."
It sounded plausible enough—and wasn't total bullshit.
"For real?"
"Yeah. Their streams are less min-maxing combat power or grinding the four major induns. More chill exploration, jumping around excitedly."
"Ooh... Didn't know. So they don't care about power?"
"Nah, the ones who do are beasts."
While we chatted, Minseo had square-marked the guardians and skull-marked the hatchlings.
"Guys!! Quick rundown before Sky gets back!"
"Sure thing~ Teacher Minseo, lay it on us."
"Ahem! See these? Skull-marked hatchlings near eggs—touch an egg and more spawn."
"Ooh, so no touching eggs?"
"Minseo, you pulling hatchling aggro? Or since guardians are square-marked, should I?"
"I've got higher combat power and defense, so I'll tank the hatchlings. Ireah, handle guardians."
"Hyahaha! Time for Ijeye's Sunlight Beast to shine!"
Ijeye was a female streamer maining Harmony Druid.
Druids could shapeshift into animals or beasts, each form unlocking specialized skills.
Of course, this era's druids had those dreamy, romantic skillsets "planned" but poorly implemented—making every spec trash.
"Sis, what's a Harmony Druid even do?"
"Dunno about the rest, but they AOE like champs."
"AOE...?"
"Area of effect. Trash single-target, but great for hitting crowds."
Anyway, with mages and black mages already, the egg room was no issue.
"Hmm... Hear me out, guys! Sky's busy, right? We pre-clear these hatchlings and guardians?"
"Sounds good. Trash, no loot drama."
"Trash pull~! Just burst 'em!"
"Ijeye!!! I'll pull one group at a time to the entrance—no hitting extras!"
Ijeye had a record: over-AOEing, linking another group, forcing Minseo and Ireah to scramble for aggro amid screams.
"Hehe... That was, uh, whatever. You and Minseo got it."
"I nearly died mid-heal. Ijeye..."
"Aww~ Nina-unnie, go easy~"
The healer complaining now was Danina, a Priest streamer.
Though I did most of the healing, honestly.
"Alright! Pulling one group?"
Ramjwi Thunder fired an ice spear, pulling hatchlings.
Minseo waited for them to close in, then AOE'd for aggro.
"Puhahaha! Burn in my sunlight!"
"Ijeye, aren't you a nature-loving druid?"
"Dragons ain't nature!!!"
Hatchlings were perfect AOE fodder: tanky, hard-hitting, endless spawns.
Prime fun for Ijeye, Harin, Ramjwi Thunder.
"Okay, guardians next... I'll snipe more hatchlings?"
"We can chain this non-stop?"
Nice. Steady pulling hatchlings to the entrance, sniping guardians—no way to wipe.
"Ah, s-sorry... Had to chug a shot quick..."
"Nah, all good! Just like before!"
Sky timed his return perfectly.
"So, uh, just kill these? What the—hatchling bastards..."
Sky smacked a hatchling, then spun away.
Makes sense—a rogue wouldn't AOE for fun.
"Sky, what happened anyway?"
"Argh... Fuck! Shoulda bought Oseong Electronics!! What the hell's Venus Coin...!!"
Sky wailed injustice, smacking a guardian from behind.
"Just~~! Oseong Electronics! Arms wide open, let's go~~~! Wait... huh?"
Mid-rant about Oseong, his rogue ate a guardian tail-swipe and flew back.
"Wha—"
He slammed into an egg.
"Huh?"
The spiky egg twitched, spawning hatchlings... naturally.
"M-Mom, sorry!!! Mom!!!"
"Why call for mom here?!!"
Sky's pathetic scream echoed as five new hatchlings pummeled him to death.
If he'd just died quietly, fine—but he sped up and dodged, triggering more eggs.
"W-Wait! Hold on—Sky! Don't touch the eg— Ijeye!!!!"
"Huh?! It chains?!"
Ijeye AOE'd to "put out the fire"—chaos as predicted.
"H-Help... Ireah oppa, save m—"
"I tried AOE but... it won't go out?!"
"Ijeye! What the fu—how many?!"
"Aaa!!! Lag!!! Lagging so haaaard—"
"...Huh."
Harin barely moved before thirty hatchlings and seven guardians strolled up, pecking the party's heads to bits. No time for heals or invulns—just wiped. I shrugged, hands off mouse and keyboard.
"Sky!!!!"
Minseo shrieked the second she realized the wipe.
"Your coins tanked!! Don't kill us all too! Han River's a solo trip!!"
"N-No..."
In a potential shitstorm, Sky—true to his decade-plus streaming vet status—let out a natural, awkward laugh.
"My coins, man..."
"Coins again?! Are you nuts?!"
"S-Sorry... Pardon my weakness..."
"Sky, how much did you lose?"
Ramjwi Thunder's friendly probe left Sky speechless for a beat.
"Did the 1/10 event... Yeah. Ten years down to one... Anyway! Drop it! Not a fun story..."
"Ugh, this is hilarious..."
Harin cackled beside me—Sky's blunder was straight legend.
Now forever clipped on Nutube: a rogue screeching "Mom sorry!!!" to death.
