Reunion (3)
"Don't worry about me and just rest. I've checked into a hotel and got a room. Yeah, yeah, okay. Take good care of Jua. You really don't need to worry about me. I'm fine. Yeah, thanks."
Jin Haesol must have been worried, because he called cautiously in the dead of night to check on me. He probably dialed the moment Jua fell asleep. What a sweet guy. Maybe that's why I'd been so greedily emotional.
Nam Jeonghwa expertly soothed his anxious voice and hung up.
"Haa~ I went and did it."
In truth, if she'd truly pushed him away when he kissed her passionately in the joy of reunion, Jua wouldn't have caught them. But Jeonghwa only pretended to resist—she hadn't genuinely refused his kiss.
It was the right thing to do. If we'd dragged it out longer, Jua's hurt would only have deepened.
It was a decision she'd made, but she couldn't erase the look of shock on Jua's face as she stared at them, asking what the hell they were doing.
"What kind of mother does this? Nam Jeonghwa, you're a real bitch."
She'd agonized plenty over whether she had to meet Haesol even if it hurt her daughter. But the answer was always the same: she couldn't give him up.
He was like a drug. If she'd never touched it in the first place, fine—but once she'd tasted him, escape was impossible.
So the best path was getting Jua to accept their relationship.
"Even though it was my choice, it still hurts. What an idiot."
The moment he'd rushed to her and kissed her, instinct kicked in. Jua had finished postpartum recovery after giving birth to Taeyang—this was the only window where she might accept it with minimal pain. The longer their secret meetings dragged on, the more damage Jua would suffer. It would just mean more time deceiving herself.
Jeonghwa clasped her trembling hands together. She'd done it herself, but apparently she couldn't avoid the shock entirely.
"Shaking like you've been hit hard. If you're gonna be a bad bitch, act like one."
Jua's shocked face wouldn't leave her mind. She'd planned out every explanation, but Haesol had jumped in midway, ruining it all.
She worried when Jua might regain her senses and reach out.
"I couldn't say any of the things I had to..."
She'd thought she'd bear it alone, so she hadn't explained the aftermath when he found out. That was the mistake.
She hadn't expected him to kneel first, blaming himself, or confess he'd lost control to lust and pounced on her.
"Haesol's not that kind of guy, but I had a stupid misconception."
Jin Haesol wasn't the type to hide cowardly behind a woman. She had nothing to say to her daughter, who used to subtly blame her dad for marrying her mom despite having no eye for men.
Bringing home a guy like that. My daughter, but damn, she's impressive.
Her ex-husband always acted that way when bringing a new woman home, so she'd assumed Haesol would too. The ex would unilaterally announce he'd fallen for her seduction and dump all the blame on the other woman. Because she knew she had to endure the criticism to marry a man.
Women, lacking initiative with 'men' who held the power, could only turn their arrows of hate toward easier targets: other women.
Can't get dumped. So they trample someone they can.
Honestly, she hadn't tormented the new women like in other households. Yet her ex never acknowledged her efforts.
Regrettably, the world was sorely short on men, and the law had no way to restrict one man with multiple women. It even encouraged it.
So she had no outlet for her grievances. But can hearts be forced by law?
Her insides had rotted black from her ex-husband's actions. Then she met Haesol—her daughter's boyfriend.
I didn't know responsible guys like him still existed these days.
Haesol, kneeling readily and apologizing, was so lovable and reliable. If he'd been there, she'd have showered him with kisses.
Jeonghwa had left home alone, checked into a hotel, and lay down—but she wasn't lonely or scared at all. Because even absent, she knew Haesol was protecting her.
A man who'll kneel for me.
Zing!
Her heart throbbed. The hand tremors faded, replaced by a new sensation.
She'd forgotten pajamas, so she'd stripped naked for comfort. Surrendering to sudden impulse was effortless.
Thinking of Jin Haesol made her body naturally secrete fluids. Jeonghwa, possessed by a succubus craving to devour him from head to toe, didn't hold back her surging lust.
Squelch! Slurp! Slurp! Squelch!
"Ha-ut! Hnng!"
She'd thought she wasn't lonely, but she was. Her heart wasn't, but her body ached for him.
She'd been thrilled he'd come today, but her impulsive act had left her alone for the night. Who wouldn't be disappointed?
She'd expected to fall asleep in his arms.
They're probably doing it at home right now?
No matter how angry, with him back after so long, Jua wouldn't spend the night alone. If anything, the situation would make her cling to him and fuck.
That's what Jeonghwa would do—and since Jua was her daughter, she knew.
Imagining her daughter and son-in-law entangled at home, she began properly pleasuring herself. All while resolving to confront Jua tomorrow and settle it. Only then could she fuck Haesol again.
Clink-clink. Riiiiiise~
Kitchen noises. Boiling bubbles—the sound of someone cooking, all too familiar.
Sis up early?
Last night, I'd serviced her hot and heavy. Quasi-Sense Amplification let me enjoy it plenty, but it was all for her, so she must've had it better. Classic 'service sex'!
I'd gone hard, and it worked— she fell asleep with her anger mostly vented.
Only after confirming she'd gone to a nearby hotel did I relax and sleep.
Up early, huh.
Couldn't laze till breakfast was ready. I opened my eyes to get up.
But there was a familiar presence beside me.
"Huh?"
Lifting the blanket revealed Jua, sleeping soundly.
Then who's making the noise?
Brain sluggish post-sleep. Sitting blankly, I belatedly guessed: the new hire?
Jeonghwa wasn't great at cooking (she hid it, but busted). Jua was better but still meh. The house was huge, so I'd told Silbia to hire help.
Maintaining this place cost a fortune—Silbia handled it. Jua refused at first, citing risks with me around, but started after my overseas trip.
"Should I wear glasses going down?"
Tedious, but necessary. I grabbed yesterday's tossed glasses and headed out.
"Huh?"
Outside, no maid—Jeonghwa smiling, setting food. Disposable containers in the trash meant (thankfully?) not homemade.
"You're up?"
"Wh... when did you get here?"
This was Jeonghwa's, Jua's, and Taeyang's house—I couldn't ask why, so when instead.
"Not long ago. Go wake Jua? Breakfast time passed."
"...You sure? Sis might not be over it."
"Can't avoid her forever. Gotta face it sometime."
"Got it. I'll bring her."
A full belly softens hearts. Feeding her first wasn't bad. But imagining morning tension made mine clench.
"Sis, up. Breakfast."
"Uuuun... wanna sleep more."
Coaxing her sulky ass out. Jua strolled out relaxed—till spotting Jeonghwa in the kitchen. Face hardened.
"What? Mom made it?"
"Yeah, came early and did."
"Bought it last-minute and reheated, probably. Mom!! Didn't you hear me? I don't wanna see your face, and you show up morning—what the hell?!"
"What else would Mom do? Set breakfast. Come eat."
"Think I can swallow with your face there?"
Icy. My heart raced.
"You can. What's hard? If you skipped meals over this, Mom would've starved ages ago. Sit!"
"......"
Jua ground her teeth in fury. Mom really was mom—scolding her daughter even now, with total confidence!
Jua plopped down pissed. I tried lightening the mood with a topic change.
"Where's Taeyang?"
"Fed him breakfast, put him back down."
"Not naptime now?"
Damn, her homemaking skills. Applause for Jeonghwa.
But prickly Jua nitpicked nonsense.
"Sleep's the best medicine for kids."
"Nap now, no sleep later."
"You were a sleepyhead young. Eat, sleep, eat, sleep. Like father, like son—Taeyang's a snoozer too."
"......"
Jeonghwa wins again. Experience hard to beat. Being Jua's mom helped too.
Jua glared daggers, like this ain't right.
"Your stare'll drill holes in Mom's face."
"Why'd you do it? Why Haesol of all people? I kept saying divorce Dad and remarry a good guy. You always said no."
"Yeah."
"Then why touch Haesol?"
"Knew any other guy would just be a younger version of your dad. Told you it was fine then—didn't care. But... sigh, wasn't gonna excuse it, but excuses keep coming. Fine, I'm the bad bitch. No words even if you beat me dead. Sorry."
"...You're a bad bitch, Mom. If not you, I'd have hospitalized someone. Fists still clenching. But can't hit Mom. Still pissed to death, so spill excuses. Curious what you'll say."
Jeonghwa didn't flinch at Jua's chill threat, diving right in.
"'Cause you're my daughter? Similar tastes, I guess. Drawn to Haesol from first sight. Thought, crazy bitch losing her mind. Tried holding back. Bad as I am, I love my kid—couldn't easily steal her man. But after peeping your sex secretly... couldn't anymore. Before mom, I'm a woman too."
"!!"
"!!"
Jua and I both. No clue she'd spied our hushed bedroom fuck.
