Chapter 8
Networking Stream
When I said the camera was shaking—
I meant it literally.
The woman on screen was shaking her webcam in rage.
“Ah, damn it!!!”
Chat exploded:
“LOL”
“Here we go again”
“This is peak Manming”
“Crazy as always”
The streamers I used to watch on YouTube didn’t act like this.
They just sat calmly and talked while playing.
So this was… new.
“Alright, I’m serious now. Everyone focus.”
“No one’s focusing lol”
“Why would we”
As I kept watching, I learned something.
Manming was Diamond rank.
I didn’t fully understand tiers, but from what I’d heard—
that was pretty high.
Curious, I posted on the gallery:
“Is Diamond considered high rank?”
Replies came quickly:
“Yeah, it’s decent”
“Watching Manming right now?”
“Diamond varies though”
So—
high, but not elite.
Still, skill didn’t matter much for streamers.
As long as they were entertaining.
While watching, I suddenly wanted to type in chat.
Everyone else was chatting—
and I was just sitting there.
But to chat, I needed an account.
“…That’s annoying.”
I hate doing tedious things.
So—
‘I’ll just borrow Yeram’s account.’
I messaged her:
“Hey, lend me your account”
She replied instantly:
“You’re watching streams?”
“You never do that”
Too many questions.
“Just send it.”
She sent the ID and password.
Simple.
I logged in.
Her username—
surprisingly normal.
I started typing:
“What was that play lol”
“Why would you do that??”
“You’re playing so bad”
It felt fun.
With so many messages, no way she’d notice mine.
But—
“Hey, Rammus guy. Want to die?”
“…Huh?”
She called me out immediately.
After that, I became careful.
Positive comments only.
“Noooo that was close”
“So unlucky”
Better not get banned.
While I was enjoying the stream—
Click.
The door opened.
Yeram came home, yawning.
“Ah… I’m so tired…”
“You’re back.”
I waved and kept watching.
Now it wasn’t just fun—
I was learning too.
She came closer, curious.
“You’re watching streams?”
“Yeah. This person’s popular.”
She stared at the screen.
“Oh, it’s Manming. She’s kinda niche though.”
“She doesn’t seem that bad.”
“Well… if you like her, that’s fine.”
She hesitated, then dropped it.
“Thanks for the account.”
“No problem. Why not just make your own?”
“Too much effort.”
“You could make money if you stream.”
“Who would watch me?”
“Yeah… true.”
We chatted, then I focused again.
After a while—
a thought crossed my mind.
‘Streaming…’
Maybe I should try it.
Not seriously.
Just for fun.
Talking with people live might be more enjoyable.
If no one watches—
I can just quit.
Three days later—
I started preparing.
Not expensive equipment.
Just basic setup.
Watching tutorials.
No one around me streamed—
so I had to figure it out myself.
‘If no one joins, I’ll stop.’
I wasn’t that serious.
Maybe 20 viewers would be enough.
That would already be fun.
But first—
I needed level 30 to play ranked.
I was level 28.
So I waited.
Then I posted:
“Breaking news: I’m streaming tomorrow. Check it out.”
And instantly—
notifications flooded in.
