Onlybear and the Supply Box
“What the fuck...”
“What the hell did you do?”
“Are you out of your mind?”
The police, having received the recording file from Go Cheon-su, couldn't hide their rage.
“You killed the chief and tried to take us over?”
“You fucking trash!”
“We'll make you pay!”
Lee Seo-jun huddled in the corner, trembling uncontrollably. Go Cheon-su just found him pathetic—no collapsing this quickly after things went south.
“Everyone, calm down.”
Go Cheon-su addressed the police. “We need to retrieve the chief and sort out the situation first.”
They could decide the traitors' punishment leisurely later. The cops sighed, accepting that.
“R-right, the chief first...”
“Chief Jin Kyung-ho ended up like that—what a mess.”
“Oh, by the way, everyone. Jin Kyung-ho's one of them too.”
Go Cheon-su raised his hand as he spoke, and the police looked shocked.
“W-what?”
“The chief too?!”
“Son of a bitch! Hurry and grab him!”
A few cops rushed out. Go Cheon-su figured there was no rush—he'd already smashed the guy to pieces.
“Chief, from the looks of it, you might not wanna testify, but got a word?”
“Go Cheon-su, was it? You're spot on.”
The police chief nodded in response. Heo Young-woong stood beside him, supporting him—fully an ally now, despite Go Cheon-su's earlier suspicion.
“Go Cheon-su, thank you. We all survived thanks to you.”
“No biggie.”
But Go Cheon-su had other concerns. “Heo Young-woong, handle the chief and cleanup, yeah?”
“Huh? What about you?”
“Got something to do. Oh, and for Lee Seo-jun and Jin Kyung-ho—fitting punishment awaits. I'll recommend some later.”
Lee Seo-jun trembled again, but Go Cheon-su ignored him and headed out, scratching his head irritably.
“What the hell is this?”
He stared at the open info window.
“What're you saying?”
Staying too long in one area is dangerous.
'Info 1' was gone, replaced by this weird constant info.
Unlike the viewers treating it lightly, Go Cheon-su was dead serious.
Just wanted a breather...
He'd cleared Myeongseo Elementary's threats. Planned to stick around, but now this constant info made it risky.
“Guys, constant info means it's always on, right?”
Viewers replied instantly.
Expected response. Go Cheon-su nodded and headed to the playground.
What to do...
Myeongseo Elementary was handled, so a brief breather. Time to check that bear doll.
“Guys, quick drive?”
Stuff to grab anyway. He found the jeep on the playground.
“There it is.”
Keys still in it. Remaining folks yelled as he approached.
“Hey, be careful!”
“Don't get in!”
“Huh?”
He turned puzzled; they hurriedly explained.
“A cop came in that earlier!”
“Totally smashed up!”
“Might be carrying something infectious!”
Terror on their faces. Go Cheon-su almost laughed but held it.
“It's fine. Checked—no infection.”
Thanks to their fear, the keyed jeep sat unused—a bonus.
“H-hey!”
“Wait!”
Ignoring protests, he hopped in. Didn't care what they thought.
Gotta leave anyway.
'One area' unclear, but meant don't linger at Myeongseo.
Vroom!
Ignition and throttle—the jeep peeled out smoothly.
“Feels good.”
Driving solo felt liberating.
Go Cheon-su chuckled dryly. I know.
Viewers weren't just tormenting—they signaled big challenges ahead.
“Alright, guys.”
Destination: the container house.
“It's dark—eyes wide open, everyone.”
Late hour. Area around the stopped jeep was pitch black.
“Better not get out.”
Who knew what monsters lurked at night.
Grrrrowl...
Zombie groans nearby.
“Not just one?”
Multiple presences. Despite the sweep, more had gathered.
Obviously—they infect via bites.
“Like constant standby mode.”
Zombies everywhere, crudest yet deadliest threat.
No need to ask. Go Cheon-su honked—Beep!—signaling readiness.
“Go ahead, guys. Ears open.”
Zombies swarmed faster. Go Cheon-su shifted gears and floored it.
“Just testing one thing.”
Needed zombie traits nailed down—they'd be constant foes.
Vroooom!
Lights on, zombies mothballed toward the speeding jeep.
(10% physical boost per aggroed foe)
Aggro low compared to swarm size.
They aggro on me specifically.
Go Cheon-su checked the mirror. Most chased the jeep blindly.
Whirr.
Window cracked, arm out.
“Hey!”
(Updated!)
Partial exposure updated it instantly.
Arm in, window up.
(Updated!)
Still ticked up—zombies now locked on him via windows.
“Alright, guys—stunt driving time!”
Lights off. Chat exploded.
“Knew it.”
Visibility low, but no issue.
“Works for real.”
Head turned, viewing ahead via chat overlay.
He'd long noted chat's high visibility—overlaid reality perfectly, enabling this stunt.
Roooar...
Zombie cries faded; fewer chased in the dark.
“Good. Zombies prioritize light over sound. That's my take.”
Sound worked, but vision ruled—like humans.
“Dunno about rottener ones.”
Blind decayed might rely elsewhere, but unlikely super hearing.
Watch for variants later.
Viewers' patience thinned while he tested.
Go Cheon-su spotted it too—a bear doll dashing off.
“What the hell is that?”
Gibberish word—Go Cheon-su tilted his head.
“Some monster?”
He sighed instantly.
“Ah, so that's the name...”
Onlybear. And the one who tossed him in this game: Onriwon.
Clearly a clue in the setup.
“Pops up near Supply Boxes and reacts, huh.”
System made sense. No more needed.
Go Cheon-su gunned it after the bear—Onlybear.
Jeep outpaced easily, caught quick.
Thud!
“Shit.”
Oversped, hit it.
^^;
“Sorry.”
Bowed slightly, eyed the fallen Onlybear. Indestructible object—hopped up and dashed off.
Vroom.
Followed to expected spot: a Supply Box.
“Phew. Finally.”
Shook off zombies en route. Go Cheon-su dismounted, approached.
“5 Zen...”
Now visible: Zen cost and shield icon.
Shoulda checked last time.
Recalled his old apartment rooftop box. Missed Zen and icon details.
Whatever.
Viewers said 1 Zen, probably sword icon.
Roooar!
Distant zombies. Turned—Onlybear gone.
Time short. Hesitated, then flung open the Supply Box.
“This...?”
A flashlight.
“What.”
12 Zen to 7 after 5 Zen spend. Meh item for cost.
“Defense gear?”
Roooar!
Zombie arrived—grabbed, flicked on.
Predictably, more aggro.
“Ah, shit!”
Kicked zombie's side, bolted to jeep.
“Wasted Zen!”
Tossed flashlight to passenger seat, shifted gears.
Floored it—jeep sped off.
Roooar!
Swelling zombies chased, but no threat as he escaped.
Soon shook them.
“Phew.”
Not tense, but sighed anyway.
“Spend to gain, my ass.”
Constant info, this flashlight—headaches only.
Heading back to Myeongseo, viewers chimed in. Gauged their mood.
“Ah, yeah. Don't worry.”
Traitors deserved fitting ends.
“I'll wrap it up entertainingly—no boredom.”
Go Cheon-su grinned.
“Watch close.”
