The Kebra captain's head flew off with a sharp sound.

"Slimes?"
Translucent, sticky slimes approached like golems, sent by Elizabeth, eldest of the demon realm princesses. She was known for her deep magical knowledge.
Claire raised her crossbow at the approaching slimes.
"Fire!"
Hundreds more arrows poured out but passed straight through the slimes' bodies.

The arrows stuck in the ground behind while the slimes continued unharmed.
Claire's expression hardened.
"Physical attacks don't work on these enemies."
Adnan nodded at those words.
"That's what it seems like. It appears to be a creature created by magic."
Having faced various magical beasts and monsters as a Highlander, Adnan knew well how to deal with this type of enemy.
He put his finger in his mouth and whistled.

As soon as Adnan gave the signal, something flashed from the tower on the outer wall.

A huge fireball appeared and fell toward the slimes.
