The vengeful spirits trapped inside Hundun's body had all disappeared due to Zeke's purification.
Zeke was able to discover the true identity of Evil God Hundun, who used Germain as a puppet, because he investigated the 'Gate of Chaos' which was the fundamental cause of the curse.
Zeke thought the Gate of Chaos was related to the God of Chaos sealed within the goddess of Theia's name.
