Spirit Realm War: Dimension Gigantic Meteor
The Spirit Realm War erupted in a frenzy of explosive roars—! Rumble rumble rumble—! At the very front, the preliminary Creator God of Dimensions charged forward at blinding speed, his divine power fully unleashed. Hundreds of compressed stars trailed behind him in a perfect line, hurtling through the void.
Even in the 499th Master Universe, where powerful gods were commonplace, almost none could manipulate so many planets with such effortless command. “The dark mage god who controls compressed planets? Is he truly the undefeated battle god from the rumors?” “They said he was a Main God with horrifically bad karma. How did he become a preliminary Creator God and join this war? And he has complete command authority? Has the Creator God lost his mind?” “He’s the mercenary god famous for using any means necessary to complete contracts and secure victory. How does he plan to handle the consequences?” “Is that the worst, most vicious dark mage god who rules the stars? Deploying this insane battle god here? This wasn’t a war we were supposed to abandon or lose after all.”
The demon god race, who had faced him as an enemy in over a hundred certification battles and mercenary fights, knew the mercenary Main God who wielded dark magic all too well. In less than a century, the feats he had piled up were impressive enough, but what truly left a deep impression was how he survived even when his karma teetered on the brink of absolute evil. He never gave up in desperate battles, fought on, and ultimately seized victory. Of course, because he had mostly fought on the side of the god race, his notoriety for causing staggering collateral damage outside of war was even greater.
‘Of course we didn’t pay him much attention when he was only Main God level, but a preliminary Creator God is another matter entirely.’ ‘The appearance of an even more monstrous Creator God is something we’d rather avoid.’ Still, it was astonishing that a mercenary god with no faction whatsoever had managed to escape his negative karma state. What was even stranger was that Main Gods who practiced dark magic never favored head-on confrontations.
‘He wins through cold practicality—hunting down those weaker than himself to reduce enemy numbers. So why is he suddenly charging straight at an overwhelmingly powerful Creator General?’ That question weighed even heavier on the Creator General himself, who now watched a mere preliminary Creator God challenge him alone.
‘A Main God with 100 billion in base divine power, plus another 100 billion as the Main God of the Defense Divine Realm, totaling 200 billion. In the 500th Master Universe, that would place him above Origin. But against me, who exceeds 2 trillion, he is no match at all. Yet here he comes, radiating fighting spirit and killing intent so ferocious I’ve never seen their like, without the slightest trace of fear.’
The Origins who had mastered his peerlessly strong and nearly impossible-to-learn profound meaning could, with a hundred concessions, be acknowledged as worthy opponents. But for some Absolute possessing nothing more than a non-Creator title to ignore him and charge forward without fear was utterly unacceptable.
“How dare you—! Who do you think you’re challenging?”
Puhahahahaha—! With a short roar of laughter, the Sword of Light Wings immediately swung toward the fearless preliminary Creator God closing in. The slow swarm of planets following behind required no attention whatsoever. The fact that this was physical force rather than an authority the Sanctuary could nullify was slightly concerning, but it would vanish once the preliminary Creator God who served as its source was annihilated.
‘If the Sword of Light Wings is concentrated with 2 trillion divine power, a mere preliminary Creator God will be annihilated the instant it strikes.’
Gaaaaaaaang—! Just before the trajectory of the winged blade could tear him apart, the preliminary Creator God began laughing loudly without offering any defense at all.
“Kuhahahahat—! To think the Creator General would respond so naïvely against the Magic God of Dimensions, who has mastered the dark magic that denies reality to its utmost limit and transcended all boundaries? As expected, your Master Universe has no Creator-level dark mage! In that case, I will claim everything in this war for myself.”
Pasasasasak—! Suddenly every attack from the 500th Master Universe’s Creator General went wide. The supreme authority that prevented any being of lower divinity from dodging and allowed only defense or counterattacks was now shaking erratically and scattering as though it had lost its target entirely.
“What—!”
The Creator General’s body froze for a brief moment at the impossible reality. In this unprecedented situation where his own attack had missed against his will, confusion overtook him. A question slipped out unconsciously and his battle stance loosened slightly.
The enemy did not miss the opening.
“What is this? Hup—!”
“Questioning the enemy? You still have that kind of leisure? If your sure-kill attack failed, you should have followed up with consecutive strikes or retreated at full speed. Or else this happens.”
Shuk—! Sseuk—! A star that had suddenly regained the form of a colossal planet to smash the Creator General’s entire body filled his entire field of vision.
“11-Circle Dimension Gigantic Meteor!”
11-Circle Dimension Gigantic Meteor
Magic Type: Space-Time and Dimensional Magic, Offensive Type
Effect: Summons a compressed giant planet on the verge of explosion directly into the enemy’s body via dimensional teleportation, causing it to detonate inside. Because the planetary explosion is pure physical force, once successful it cannot be blocked by any authority. Even higher beings will suffer near-fatal injuries or be shattered into pieces.
The 9-Circle Gigantic Meteor was difficult to use against planet-sized enemies or those with fixed positions and could be defended against by equivalent or higher divinities or barriers. However, this version is fused with Dimensional Authority, making it impossible to block through the same methods. The only options are to avoid the manifestation coordinates or endure it with raw physical durability. Yet because it is a stellar explosion rather than simple expansion, avoiding catastrophic damage is nearly impossible.
It can now destroy stars above the Main God Star level. Omitting the chant drastically reduces power, but when combined with Dimensional Authority it can be used for ultra-high-speed personal combat. Its power exceeds 12-Circle magic.
Restriction: Cannot manifest without Dimensional Authority fused with 11-Circle or higher dark magic.
First manifestation note from the protagonist: This isn’t for self-destructing again, is it? It won’t be.
The Creator General, startled by the transcendent authority that so easily compressed and expanded planets on a scale even he would find impossible, hurriedly tried to slice the star in half. The instant a spine-chilling sensation shot through his mind, he threw his head back with desperate force.
Ku-kung! Crash!
The battle sense authority he had gained after two life-and-death struggles screamed at him to dodge without fail whenever he felt this sensation, and he had obeyed that instinct faithfully. Yet the feeling of crisis refused to fade. He frantically opened his Light Wings to full power and layered an additional barrier in front of himself. That decision saved the Creator General’s life.
Whooooooosh—! Craaaash—!
“Kuuuuurgh!”
He had avoided the explosion of the giant star the Dimensional Authority had teleported inside his head. Instead, indescribable agony tore through him as his Light Wings shattered into pieces. A god’s body was fundamentally based on a spiritual form and therefore possessed some immunity to physical force, yet this attack had completely shattered that immunity with overwhelming mass and explosive power.
Even the Creator General’s body, which could easily withstand ordinary stellar explosions, suffered a critical blow from a super-giant planetary detonation occurring inside him, beyond the protection of his authorities. Rumble rumble rumble! Puhahahahaha!
It was fortunate he had protected his head, but the front of his body had been struck at close range. The source of his divine power took damage, and the Light Wings that had absorbed the direct hit shattered once again. The attack had been extremely fast and difficult to detect, but it was not impossible to avoid. Since it was dimensional teleportation, simply evading the impact coordinates should have ended the threat. He had merely been momentarily confused by the unusual authority.
Moreover, he could tell at a glance from the unique wave of divine power that his opponent was not an Origin of the god race but a human who had ascended to godhood. His fury only grew.
‘A god from human stock—more lowly than even mixed-bloods of the pure god race. To think he injured me! Unforgivable.’
To suffer the humiliation of having his barely regenerated Light Wings shattered again by pure physical violence rather than an authority from such a being pushed the greatest god of light to the brink of losing all reason. His roar erupted.
“How dare you—! You insignificant human-born wretch commit such insolence and expect to walk away unscathed?”
“Hahahahahahat—! What do you want me to do about being human-born? And you lofty pure-blood gods can’t even curse because it might dirty your mouths? Then instead of curses, I’ll answer with this.”
Swish—! Yet the reply did not come from the front, but from directly behind him. This was the battlefield where Creator Gods bearing titles from his own Master Universe stood against the highest-ranking Main Gods of the 499th. An even more ominous feeling than before wrapped around his entire body.
Dudududududududuk!
Hundreds of planets were charging forward in grouped formations, lined up and bearing down on him. Even if he tried to block spatial movement in the middle, the stars were arriving through dimensional leaps, rendering such attempts useless. Countless sensations of imminent crisis flooded every part of his body.
‘As expected, those planets are targeting my physical form. If those compressed super-giant planets explode inside my body again, even I won’t be able to avoid critical injury.’
Paak! Gogogogogo—!
In the end he urgently propelled his body forward, escaping the attack coordinates of the dimensional strike. A storm of light and heat from the exploding stars surged after his leaping form. As he was sent flying in an undignified manner, a roar of pure rage finally tore from his throat.
‘Uuuuuurgh! To be toyed with like this by an opponent whose divine power is so far beneath mine that I shouldn’t even need to fight seriously!’
Yet because of his noble station he had never learned crude curses, so he could not even vent his frustration properly. It was maddening.
“Damn it all—! You cowardly bastard—! Fight me fairly!”
However, the answer to his furious shout was nothing more than a sneer of pure contempt.
“What do you mean, fight fairly against someone with more than ten times my divine power? Wouldn’t that just be instant death? The ones who do such stupid things on the battlefield are called young masters—! Stop paying attention to this lowly human-born god and focus on your noble Origin opponents in front of you, why don’t you?”
Crackle-crackle-crackle—! Crunch—!
The two who had seized the opportunity overlapped their wings—one pair shining with compressed magic power, the other fully bloomed with light—and activated the ‘Omniscient and Omnipotent Sacred Taboo’ once more.
‘The two Origins of the 499th Master Universe who learned his profound meaning have fully recovered and are charging in.’
As if the restriction that required them to hold hands had been lifted, they moved freely and unleashed a barrage of attacks. He frantically dodged once again.
‘This is a crisis on a completely different level from when the stars teleported into his body earlier.’
No matter how high the Creator General’s divinity, he could not block direct attacks from those who had mastered that profound meaning. ‘Their divine power has also increased to an abnormal degree upon closer inspection. Moreover, the triangular solid rotating above their divine power sources seems to have freed them from the Sanctuary’s influence. The waves from the close-range attacks I barely dodged are landing solid hits.’
If the Sanctuary no longer worked, facing even one such enemy would be dangerous. Against two of this caliber, allowing even the smallest gap would mean immediate defeat. The situation had completely reversed—from overwhelming superiority to one that would require a prolonged battle.
‘Just one human-born preliminary Creator God has flipped the entire war!’
In the midst of the new crisis, a voice dripping with triumphant venom rang out from behind, sharp as a freshly honed blade.
“The most basic first step to victory is to kill incompetent allies, recover their vitality and divine power, and redistribute it to strengthen capable ones. Therefore, I executed the ten highest-ranking Main Gods who refused to obey the supreme wartime commander and recovered 500 billion in vitality and divine power, temporarily delegating half to each. Now, with the addition of support from the Creator-level Defense Divine Realm, they possess close to 500 billion divine power each. When they activate the ‘Omniscient and Omnipotent Sacred Taboo,’ they stand as your true equals. Furthermore, I have used my ‘Origin’ title to free them from the Sanctuary that nullifies the god race’s authorities. Since they have even mastered his Incomprehensible Eight Founders’ profound meaning, even a Creator General with 2 trillion divine power will meet his end if struck directly. Dodge well. This lowly human-born will now take his leave from the battlefield of you noble pure-blood gods.”
“Iiiiiik—! You bastard—! Get back here right now—! You’ve reached the level of preliminary Creator God and this is the cowardly behavior you resort to?”
“Kahahahahahahat—! Am I some young master? Why would I do something that stupid? Just do your job properly against those noble Origins of the Omnipotent race.”
The will carried by the Magic God of Dimensions’ laughter gradually faded into the distance. The place his will flowed toward was the confrontation between the titled Creator Gods and the highest Main Gods of the 499th Master Universe.
The Creator General wanted to chase after him immediately, but the attacks from the Origins—who had learned that profound meaning and been strengthened to the point they now rivaled him—left him no opening. All he could do was grind his teeth and swallow his rage.
BOOOOOM—! Goooooooong—!
In the end he abandoned the pursuit. The joint authority of two top-tier Origins was not something to be taken lightly, so he met it with full power. Once he organized these two and broke through only the Defense Divine Realm, dealing with that insolent human-born preliminary Creator God would be simple.
Only later would he realize this decision had been a fatal mistake.
