The Weakness of the Creator God King
In the eyes of the Dimensional Lord, nothing about the Spirit Realm war was more infuriating than the fact that they had failed to end it because someone had dared to search for blood ties and sentimental nonsense on the battlefield. How shameful is it to miss the chance to deliver a fatal blow to an enemy who can almost uniquely nullify one's own wide-area authority, all because of past sentiment? As a mercenary god for whom victory was the only value, it had been the worst possible battle.
If things had gone as they should, this mistake would have warranted immediate execution after an inquiry. But with our forces already so depleted, it seems to have been overlooked. He had pushed himself to restore his power, so that was not the issue, but by overexerting himself he had drawn concentrated enemy attention, making his death in the next battle almost certain. A Creator Candidate would presumably protect himself, but can he actually win?
The martial might and potential of the Creator God King were undoubtedly the finest. Though he was laughably weaker than the Creator God King of the 499th Master Universe where the Dimensional Lord resided, the origin of all divine races was not something to be taken lightly. The Creator God King is originally the pinnacle and strongest of all divine races in the Master Universe. He possesses strength that no one except the Creator can face alone and manages the realm in their stead.
All-Powerful Splendor is so monstrously powerful that he can match him, but the origin of the Almighty God Tribe normally cannot last even a minute. From what I see now, even All-Powerful Splendor cannot handle him without the aid of the Defense Divine Realm. A greater problem was that becoming the core of the Divine Realm and receiving support was not purely advantageous. Because while he received divine power and authorities, his computational capacity was correspondingly drained.
With the computational power of a Main God possessing thirteen pairs of light wings, manifesting the authority of a twenty-six-winged Creator God is naturally an enormous burden. The issue is not whether his body can withstand the increased divine power, but the lack of computational capacity. Lacking computational power, he cannot execute complex authorities or read ahead in exchanges faster than light, forcing him to fight purely on reflex. In short, a Main God of the warrior type with poor intellect could never fully draw out the support of a Creator-level Defense Divine Realm and might even become a liability.
Especially for such authority users or swordsman-type fighting gods, the longer the battle drags on, the worse the problem becomes. The moment the opponent senses how he will react, he collapses pathetically. As the core of the Divine Realm assisting its ego, his computational power is insufficient, weakening his authority manifestation, and above all, he has almost no room for variables in combat, reducing him to trading blows on animal instinct. Once the enemy grows accustomed to his attack patterns, he will allow counterattacks. It would be stronger to rely on his body and fight without the Defense Divine Realm's support. The problem is that an expert of the Creator God King's caliber has likely already analyzed nearly everything.
Hmm—! This is truly bad. He will be completely overwhelmed in the next battle. The final analysis concluded that additional forces were necessary; without them, a breakthrough in the next battle was almost certain. If five Absolutes bearing the title of Highest Main God combined with five independent Divine Realm mercenary Main Gods to kill them, and nine direct Main Gods were suppressed by other Highest Creators, it would immediately become a one-on-one between the Creator Candidate and the Creator God King.
No matter how transcendent an 11th-circle expert who had mastered the first movement of the Creator God King's "Eightfold Incomprehensible Melody," "Celestial Time Without Limit," he could not defeat a true 13th-circle Creator God King. The gap between two circles is simply that vast. It was no coincidence that the Demon God King had been watching for an opening the moment the Dimensional Lord defeated an 11th-circle opponent at the 9th-circle level. Of course, once he shed the divinity of a mere Creator Candidate, he might be able to fight on equal terms, but that was a distant future.
Even the Demon God King candidate of the Demon Race, All-Powerful Splendor's certification opponent, was strong enough to make me shudder after witnessing that battle. Those who had mastered his secret technique and obtained an "immortal" body were not opponents one could defeat easily. Moreover, since they were competing for the throne of the same tribe, there would be no mercy. The defeated would lose that mighty body and vanish, returning to a divine spirit. They would be reset. I do not know how they learned his secret technique, but the probability must have been miraculous. They knew better than anyone that such luck would never come again, so they would never relinquish that body. The moment of defeat would truly be the end.
Anyway, the 500th Master Universe cannot defeat us. It is absurd that the forces of a galaxy ruled by a mere General Creator cannot break through when an entire army led by a Creator God King is deployed. A Creator-level defensive barrier? Vitality absorption authority? Compared to the Substitute Race Creator's bio-armor, their defensive power is crude at best. Vitality absorption can be blocked with a barrier, just as I do. If I had been in command of that level of divine race forces, I would have already ended it.
The Dimensional Lord would not even need Absolutes bearing titles. The main gate is the only weakness, so please break through there was an obvious trap, a laughable deception. If the problem was that a Creator-level vitality absorption authority called "Yugyeok Volcano" had been deployed in other regions and the barrier required continuous attacks from Highest Creators or above, then the solution was to solve those problems while breaking through. I would have had barrier-specialist Creators or Absolutes comparable to the Dimensional authority block the vitality absorption and hired the Demon Race to force the breakthrough. The moment a path opened, this level of Defense Divine Realm, being a small elite force, could never stop us.
Then we would immediately destroy the core of the Divine Realm and have the overflowing Creators keep the independent Divine Realm Main Gods in check. We would finish off the Creator Candidate, whose body was strong but whose divinity was far inferior, with long-range transcendent authority attacks, then clean up the rest. Of course there would be sacrifices in the breakthrough and suppression, but it would still be far cheaper than the vitality and morale lost by the highest-ranking gods dying one after another.
The commander of such a massive army had been completely played by the enemy, fixating on the weakness they had shown instead of utilizing the greatest advantage of a large-scale assault: overwhelming successive waves. Yet soon a bitter smile appeared. Divine races that value harmony with the world rarely possess barrier abilities that signify severance. The "Main God who reigns above the heavens" is an exception, having developed it out of necessity while fighting alone in desperate situations. Moreover, they look down on the Demon Race, who are superior in offensive power to the divine races, calling them demons, so of course they never considered them. Still, the next battle will likely decide everything.
Observing the titled Absolutes who were unleashing their divine power and authorities to the fullest without realizing he was watching everything through reconnaissance artifacts he had created as Machine Gods, the conclusion came immediately. The independent Divine Realm Main Gods absolutely cannot hold. They are experts trying to surpass Highest Main Gods even without partial activation of their titles. Titled Absolutes inherently possessed roughly an additional 0.5 circles of strength, making them impossible to face alone. Moreover, there were not one but five such opponents, so they could never be stopped. Then wide-area authorities other than Cheongong's would be sealed, and the Creator Candidate would be unable to handle the Creator God King. They would be forced to retreat inside the Defense Divine Realm, and the main gate's destruction would only be a matter of time.
If I joined now I could secure a hefty share, but I have no confidence against three or more. I would probably die, so I will just pretend not to know. Anyway, the moment the Defense Divine Realm collapses, the Creators will intervene. There are already those who have finished their training and are waiting at the outskirts of the Spirit Realm, so the matter will be settled in an instant. According to information sent by the countless reconnaissance artifacts scattered around the Spirit Realm, a defensive line of Creators had already formed along the boundary inside the Spirit Realm. Dozens are already on standby, led by a Creator who is furious that his own Spirit Realm's Defense Divine Realm is being invaded. And that number keeps growing.
Even Intermediate Creators who manage the interior of the Master Universe could be seen. The Creator God King seems truly determined to end this. Not a single one of them could be defeated by the power of a Dimensional Lord who had not even reached Creator Candidate. Especially seeing the fighting spirit and divine power radiating from the Creator managing this galaxy, furious and merciless, one absolutely must not oppose him. Even going all out, how long could I last? Thirty seconds at most? Damn it—! He is ridiculously strong. He could probably clean up that weak Creator God King right away, so why is he tormenting his subordinates with this "justification" nonsense? Well, he was probably forbidden from participating to obtain a clearer justification in the Creation Realm, so he must be even more heated. Anyway, being part of a massive organization has these drawbacks. One's own will is extremely restricted. He looks ready to break out even now, but there are those stopping him.
Every time a minimum Intermediate Creator silently glared at the Creator on the verge of going berserk, the latter's spirit visibly wilted. He was probably the direct superior Creator of that Creator, and seeing how the latter could not even move, his level was obvious. With such lofty figures thoroughly preparing, why would I risk my life to participate in the defense? If I die, it is truly over for me. I might be able to resurrect like the divine races, but I would face his judgment. Just thinking about it makes me shudder.
The Dimensional Lord's thoughts concluded that the correct answer was to quickly recruit and provide basic training to spirit gods to fill the Divine Realm, then focus on training within it. Casually finishing his thoughts, he looked at Lokina, the Lord of the Flipside, who was clad in a translucent robe radiating discontented divine power. She had brought the organizational chart of the Divine Realm composed of spirit gods and, with rude disregard for upper Divine Realm Main Gods, threw the documents onto the table in front of the sofa where he sat without even removing her robe.
He was about to flare up and discipline her when other Main Gods came rushing in. The glares they directed at her even carried traces of killing intent, making the situation clearly abnormal. Their faces were flushed with excitement, as if they were about to enter battle. Yet all that came out was a sigh. The situation was so familiar that even indignation had vanished, leaving only bewilderment. Haa—! Why are these guys acting up again? They should know that gathering power for a collective rebellion is impossible since they have not recovered their divine power. Do they really think the divine power they are showing now is enough to claim they are Intermediate Main Gods?
No matter how high their past divinities or how excellent their authorities, overcoming the Dimensional Lord's dimensional authority was difficult. Before the Dimensional Net, which nullified all externally emitted authorities and reduced their circle by one, that level of divine power could not resist. Anyone below equal rank cannot overthrow me no matter how many there are. The only reason he had allowed a single blow from the former Demon God King candidate female Main Gods last time was because he had been complacent and arrogant despite being a bottom-rung Main God in this Master Universe. On a real battlefield, he would have buried them without even allowing approach. I am a dark mage, not a warrior, so as long as I maintain distance, I can handle Main Gods of this level no matter how many.
The moment they became the Dimensional Lord's subordinates, he had roughly explained the basics of the Divine Realm along with their forces and authorities. Later, to avoid troublesome challenges and noise, he had explained in considerable detail. So they should know better than anyone that victory was impossible, yet here they were, all worked up and rushing over. "What's going on?"
As expected, their wariness and anger toward each other were greater than their fighting spirit or killing intent toward the Dimensional Lord. I roughly understand. Since they have been grouped together, they immediately started fighting over hierarchy. Of course Lokina had probably done a good job based on their resumes, but they refused to accept it obediently and, after arguing, had come running to ask him to settle the dispute.
