Chapter 5
Subverted Priorities
Main host and guest are reversed. Literally, it means the positions of host and guest have swapped, as if the importance, timing, or priority of things themselves has completely reversed.
It’s a phrase you hear everywhere in real life.
You pour money into flashy external costumes to make your RPG more fun, then suddenly you care more about those visuals than grinding stats or tackling endgame content.
You start working out to get a better body for love, and before you know it you’re chasing bigger muscles and heavier weights.
You go on a diet to eat salads, but next thing you know you’re obsessed with making them taste amazing.
Things rarely turn out exactly as you planned.
And right here, in the Vtuber Discipline Gallery—the infamous Beochamgal, as everyone just calls it—the majority of users are exactly the kind of people who live for that kind of reversal.
[Just graduate already, you bastard lol]
[Sukune just bought up all the floating points, pure peak locking]
[Even in the big gallery, those anti-abortion dogs are eating endless shit lol]
[Amarina’s bastard kids are copying that inferiority complex again lol]
The most striking thing about this gallery is its raw anonymity.
Of course the site itself is anonymous, but here they went even further—hiding both username and IP completely.
So even if A, B, and C each wrote separate posts, every single comment looks exactly like ”.
That feature makes it possible to crank the toxicity way past normal levels.
The mods’ policy is basically “free speech”, and with zero fear of being outed, people just unload everything they’ve been holding back.
Some of them aren’t just venting—they’re organized, goal-driven trolls who want to manipulate gallery opinion or protect their targets.
Either way, the entire community has that delicious master-servant reversal going on.
They probably started the gallery just to watch streams and have more fun, but somewhere along the line the goal got twisted and now hating streamers or their fans has become the whole point.
The user base here is a chaotic mix of banned regulars, dopamine addicts, and people with weird agendas, but that only makes it more dangerous.
And then one post dropped that changed everything.
[Real-time Vtuber World Cup just starting—Naga is calling out “What the hell is a Vtuber lol”]
Naga is short for Children of Paradise, the pioneer Vtuber group whose fans are called Eves.
They’ve been running since before the Korean Vtuber scene even existed, carving out their own slice of the pie and racking up serious fame because of it.
As expected, their fans—the self-proclaimed Eves—had to be here in Beochamgal, but they never showed up in numbers before this.
[What the hell is that name? Just curious…]
[Been a while since I’ve seen a cam kill, gonna be okay lol]
[The anti-abortion dogs can eat shit, but the unnie is pretty so it’s fine…]
[Wait, is the lighting setup even real? Did you film this from a cave?]
The gallery, usually just a constant loop of the same boring talk, suddenly got pumped with energy.
And of course it didn’t stop there. Viewers who’d never planned to watch started showing up anyway, with lines like “Might as well check it out”, “You’re fucking dead”, or “Time to go mess with them”.
[Found it! Ppiriri Lim Ttidue—let’s go]
It wasn’t hard to find, so the link hit the gallery fast.
“U-uh…”
I was staring at the chat when it finally clicked—I’d made a huge mistake.
–??
–Who the hell is that guy?
–Absolute legend lol
–Never piss them off…
I know zero about the Vtuber world, but anyone with half a brain could tell something was off.
And the mistake was painfully obvious: “Wait… that’s a Vtuber? For real?”
While I was playing king of the world, how much had the universe changed? Or was it just the gender thing messing with my head?
I felt a mix of confusion and mild injustice, but I had to handle damage control immediately.
“A-ah… sorry everyone. I really don’t know anything about Vtubers… I only watched a couple of old clips, so I thought it would just be like normal streaming… I’m really sorry.”
I apologized right away. Honestly I thought, “It’s not that big a deal…” but as a viewer I was the boss and I was the underdog.
“I wasn’t trying to mock anyone or look down on them, I just didn’t know. I know it’s not an excuse, but I’ll make sure it never happens again. Please forgive me this one time.”
–Hmm…
–If you didn’t know, it makes sense
–I get it, but as an Eve you should’ve at least looked it up a little first.
“S-sorry… I’ll look into it from now on. No more mistakes.”
A simple, unexcused bow of the head should calm the room enough.
Yeah, the chat is slowing down… “That’s it, we’re good”…
–What the—?
I noticed something weird in the viewer count.
I’d estimated around two thousand, maybe three. Now it was down to six hundred and climbing like a glitch was running wild.
Not just viewers—the chat was exploding again, completely different from before.
–Naga—Those damn anti-abortion bitches deserve to be trashed lol
–Is this the real Vtuber orthodox talk room?
–We have to kill it—we have to kill it—we have to kill it—we have to kill it—we have to kill it
–What the hell is this?
–Ah… I just want one chicken drumstick…
–Beochamgal is cheering on new streamer Lim Ttidue ^^
–Explain explain explain explain explain—explain
–The guys who called for Ttudae’s death are all gold lol
–Naga—Those damn anti-abortion bitches deserve to be trashed lol
A wave of strangers pouring in, talking about totally unrelated stuff. Endless spamming, no hiding the “I came to fuck up your stream” vibe.
And in the middle of it all, regular viewers looking horrified.
The chat was basically a shitshow now, scrolling so fast it was making my eyes spin.
I couldn’t just leave it. I had to do something.
But what? My head was spinning, I was dizzy, I didn’t know where to start.
Then the notification chimed in the middle of the chaos.
Estusaranggae donates 1,000 Jeollyeok.
Boss, do you like chicken drumsticks?
The hell…?
Why is this person suddenly obsessed with chicken?
Normally I’d reply instantly to a generous supporter, but this wasn’t normal.
I managed to collect myself and tried to shut the situation down.
“U-um… there seems to be a misunderstanding. This isn’t that kind of stream… I don’t know where everyone suddenly came from…”
VR Meeting avatar says this isn’t a Vtuber lol
VR Meeting avatar says this isn’t a Vtuber lol
VR Meeting avatar says this isn’t a Vtuber lol
–Bona is definitely an Ama…
–Copying inferiority complex, instant kill lol
–Beochamgal is on Lim Ttidue’s side! Don’t be upset, cheer up!
“Beochamgal?”
I accidentally read the chat out loud. That was a rookie mistake, but it was too late to take it back.
Scrolling up, several other people had mentioned Beochamgal too. So those coordinates were for me and the whole gallery had shown up.
The apology I just gave was already everywhere, and the people who saw it late were crashing the stream. Since they never planned to watch anyway, they were just raging wild.
Now what do I do… Ban every single one of them? The numbers are still climbing—hundreds?
Estusaranggae donates 1,000 Jeollyeok.
Boss, between chicken drumstick and what—kal guksu or jook—do you think is the better finish?
This guy is still fixated on chicken? Doesn’t he see the serious situation?
Annoyed, I decided to reply quickly.
“I like jook. Please stop donating content-unrelated things that don’t match the situation. Thank you for the thousand.”
Estusaranggae donates 1,000 Jeollyeok.
–Hah
–Chicken lol
–You’re done for
–Ban him already, boss
–He’s not even tired of it
“Ban? Why? Was that donation weird?”
Chat suddenly started calling out the donator, leaving me even more confused.
What part of that donation was off? How did they know to ban?
The vibe said ban anyway, but…
I decided to just ban for a week. Honestly my head was killing me, but I still wanted to ban because of all the nonsense.
“Banned. Yes. I banned him. I… I don’t really know how to handle those kinds of attacks either. I didn’t mean to leave it on purpose—I just didn’t know. If you tell me, I’ll ban them all. Now I’m thinking, ‘Is this the Vtuber Discipline Gallery?’ Even the people from there.”
Estusaranggae donates 1,000 Jeollyeok.
–Hah
–I don’t know that place~
–Then when are you going to explain?
–Wait, is the lighting setup actually real?
“I explained already. I wasn’t trying to mock anyone, I just didn’t know. I’m sorry if I upset you. And the lighting… it’s not that bad, right? It looks bright to me…”
Estusaranggae donates 1,000 Jeollyeok.
–Are you a child of darkness?
–You really are broadcasting in the dark
–For a female streamer you’re pretty legendary
I did check how my cam looked on stream, but I still felt a little self-conscious. I just didn’t expect such a strong reaction to the lighting.
Maybe I should fix the lighting later. I heard setting costs a thousand, and if it’s that bad…
