"Kya, this fuckin' rush."
Sure, seeing 40 wolf-goblin cavalry charging at me did make me panic a bit.
But same deal—I unloaded full-auto from the autocannon right from the start, shredding the lead 10 hobgoblins (goblin variant, bigger and stronger than regular goblins) and their wolves into minced meat.
While the goblins hesitated in shock, I reloaded the spent autocannon with 50 fresh rounds (belt-fed version) from an Infinite Magazine, then sprayed more.
The frontrunners got mulched by the merciless 20mm storm, stumbling in confusion, and I swapped in pre-loaded guns from my internal storage one by one, blasting away at random...
Combat started, and not even a minute later, I'd wiped every last enemy. Back home, I fired up the internet.
Watching posts from other hunters like that, I was riding a nonstop dopamine high.
But that bliss from community scrolling only lasted so long while munching pre-bought convenience store jerky...
A few posts in, I felt a twinge of doubt: Is barreling ahead like this really the right call?
And yeah, fair question. This time, on floors 3-4, I'd naturally picked up the 'Swap' technique.
Once the autocannon ammo ran dry, I frantically swapped pre-loaded guns without discrimination, mowing down the monsters charging right at me...
"Hah, fuck, most of 'em are outta ammo."
As you can see, my main weapon, the 20mm autocannon, along with everything else except unused pistols and assault rifles—total ammo depletion.
What if next floor the monsters are scattered instead of swarming upfront?
Or like floor 1, tons of trees blocking—special rounds pierce Mana Shields fine, but physical damage gets nullified by terrain like regular bullets.
Tower's got all sorts of bullshit 'screw you' scenarios with low-but-real probability...
So I decided to halt this braindead solo climb—anyone could see it's suicidal.
Time to check rewards and brainstorm fixes for issues I've felt so far.
Unlike floor 1, where the reward was exactly the Infinite Magazine (50-round limit) I desperately needed...
◈ HP Recovery Potion (B-Grade)
◈ Stealth Cloak (B-Grade)
◈ Handgun Auxiliary Magazine (B-Grade)
◈ Universal Recovery Potion (A-Grade)
"Okay, so this is that infamous gacha trash fire."
Community hype said Hardcore #1 rewards are god-tier jackpots.
But nah, just A/B-grade slop—couldn't help thinking, This right?
Can't exactly complain to the Status Window for going full stingy on me...
Special magazine that stores ammo for any handgun under 20mm, regardless of type.
Max Capacity: 100 rounds
This item can only be equipped to one piece of equipment!
"Ah, shoulda pulled this shit earlier."
B-grade means meh performance and conditions, sure...
But with Infinite Magazine's 50-round cap screwing me over already multiple times, floor 4's drop means at least my secondary machine gun's got backup.
Other stuff ain't useless either.
Stealth Cloak from floor 3? Drape it on for subtle presence reduction—lowers enemy detection chance. Not full invis, but stealth mode vibes.
Potions? In this era of Towers and dungeons, unmakeable artifacts. Treated as extra lives by hunters...
Gacha luck's ass, sure, but this is solid average. Kinda satisfied, honestly.
Key issue: All these items are 'decent' at best.
But for crucial 'accuracy'? Only fix is floor 4's aux mag and 'if aim sucks, spray more?'. Not great.
"Can't trust hunter community 100%, but no reason to trust 0% either."
Posts warn to watch from floor 6.
Praise past me for pausing the climb here to regroup. Now, pondering how to break through this."
