Modern Weapons Rule the World!!!
Of course, once I actually got my hands on a 30mm autocannon touted as S-rank, I couldn't help but feel a bit... underwhelmed. Deep down, I was thinking, 'Wait, an autocannon is S-rank? Does that mean nothing better than this ala-bong level firepower is coming down the line?' My mood naturally tanked.
But that feeling didn't last. I slyly fired up the hunter community app and ran some targeted searches.
"Ah, so that's how it is."
Thanks to some fellow hunter noob who shared my exact doubts and got sacrificed, I dodged the info-bomb from that overly chatty mystery hunter 'Explainer' while still getting the key details.
Now I felt confident I could look forward to even bigger things ahead.
With that curiosity settled, right before heading to the 11th floor, I tried filling up the 300-round mag for 'Wilson' using the Infinite Magazine... but.
"Huh? Oh, it was already full?"
I'd skimmed the description window before, so I hadn't even noticed it was loaded. Realizing that now, I figured I had nothing left to prep. Since I'd already scoured floors 1 through 10 pretty thoroughly, I steeled myself and set off for the 11th floor.
The moment I stepped into the 11th floor.
Hardcore Difficulty 11th Floor Entry!
Goal: Eliminate all monsters
Current remaining enemy monsters: 10
"Oh, extermination battle."
About 40-50 meters away, ten orc dudes popped out. Not quite 'great warrior' boss level like on the 10th floor, but way better equipped than the rag-wearing orcs from floors 6-8—decent leather armor, helmets on, gripping wooden shields or weapons, glaring at me with murderous intent.
Seeing that, I finally got why the community vets warned, 'If you struggle on 10, you'll shit bricks from 11 onward.'
Of course, that only applies if you're a normal hunter—like, most climbers—who have to hack away one by one.
"Kweek?"
"Kweeeek!"
"Bwoooaaahhh, you bastards!! My trait is the pinnacle of Status Window intelligence and pride!!! In other words, it transcends ALL hunters!!!"
"Kweeeek?!"
"Take this, orcs! Fires 650 rounds per minute! Pierces 50mm armor plating— a medium autocannon!"
"Kweeeek?!"
"Every single bullet will shred your worthless hides!!!"
-BRRRRRrrrrrrrrrTT!
With the 30mm super chain gun mounted on my gut, I unleashed the classic line every gunner screams, then hosed them down in full auto.
Even though fewer than 100 of the 300 rounds flew out, the firepower dwarfed the single Wilson 20mm. Each 30mm shell slammed into the orcs like a freight train—their leather armor shredded like paper, and the flesh beneath turned to minced orc-meat in an instant...
Exactly 11 seconds after entering the 11th floor.

"Kya ha ha, this is the shit."
Perfectly clearing the 11th in 11 seconds felt right on brand. I started wondering if other floors would be this easy too.
But the moment that thought hit, I remembered the timeless wisdom: 'Life never goes according to plan.'
Instead of heading home to brag on the community, I re-challenged the 11th floor. Time to test the rest of my arsenal on the respawned orcs and see how far this goes.
The clear itself took only 11 seconds, but all the testing ate up hours.
-Beep-beep! Beep-beep!
"Oh, lunchtime already."
I ran about 30 tests, turning hundreds of orcs into orc-paste. Nearly got my skull smashed once when I forgot to reload. Or almost lost my dignity to a female orc instead. All sorts of mishaps...
But after overcoming it all, I had a solid grasp on how my weapons stacked up against the 11th floor's main enemies—orcs.
As long as they weren't 10th-floor great warrior tier, naked orc torsos (minus limbs) surprisingly took damage from 5.56mm or 9mm pistol rounds. Pretty sensational.
Of course, to land proper hits, they'd need to close within 50m—close enough to swing clubs in 3-4 seconds orc-time.
Heads and limbs had thicker hides; even 7.62mm rifle rounds sometimes just embedded if lucky.
Unlike the 10th-floor boss, they dodged the 'ala-bong' like it was a fireball, tanking accuracy hard.
So, from 11 onward, light machine guns were just 'suppression' tools—nothing more.
I permanently mounted the B-rank Auxiliary Magazine for Extinguishers on 15mm Vladimir.
The A- rank Auxiliary Magazine from floors 6-8 went on the 20mm Pelican (Wilson #1).
Ready to spray hundreds of rounds from main weapons anytime, I geared up for the climb.
