Childhood Friend's Exclusive Living Onahole: Episode 8
I have no idea what's going on anymore. I've managed to corner Shuga against the wall somehow... but I should probably start by taking the pistol away from her first. Colonel Astra applied pressure to Shuga's hand, which was still gripping the gun tightly, forcing her fingers to loosen one by one. Finally, the deadly weapon capable of killing a person slipped from Shuga's grasp.
"Shuga, you need to calm down first. Just hear me out. I wasn't trying to steal Kaldir away from you..."
"Don't lie! I heard it clear as day! You said you could never accept our marriage... I heard everything!"
Even with the Colonel's telekinetic force still pinning her down, Shuga shrieked and thrashed in rebellion. She was the same way when she collapsed into my arms on the verge of death, and usually such a polite girl—how does she lose all reason and go berserk the moment anything involving Kaldir comes up? Did I reveal my feelings too hastily? I should have been more careful...
"It seems you misunderstood what I said. What I meant was... it's fine for you two to get married, but that SM stuff or whatever... anyway, wouldn't it be better to hold back on such extreme things?"
"Kaldir is my woman! What right do you have to interfere no matter what I do to my woman?!"
Huh? What right? As Kaldir's adoptive mother, doesn't that give me the authority to meddle in my daughter's love life? This is bad. Really bad. No matter what I say, I don't think I can convince Shuga. She interrupts every time, cutting me off. Fine. It might be better to put her to sleep for a bit and figure out a plan.
"Eeeek...! Let... let me go...! I said let go...!"
The moment the Colonel tried to force her into unconsciousness, Shuga's body convulsed violently, and she broke free from the telekinetic restraint on her own power. More precisely, it wasn't just breaking free—it was like she obliterated the restraint itself.
Eh? With things turning out like this, the Colonel couldn't hide her bewilderment. It wasn't just that the force holding Shuga had vanished; it felt like her telekinetic ability itself had been sealed, leaving her unable to bind Shuga again. Shuga was definitely a girl with no aptitude for superpowers or spells—how did she do that?
"For trying to steal Kaldir from me... you'll pay with your life!"
In that split second as Shuga snatched the revolver from the floor, aimed at the Colonel's heart, and pulled the trigger, Aurora froze too, her computation circuits paralyzed by the sudden turn of events. The bullet shot from the revolver's barrel flew straight toward the Colonel without interference. Shuga, who had fired wildly without even bracing herself properly, was knocked back by the recoil.
"Wh-what is this madness?! That was dangerous!"
Even if her telekinesis was temporarily sealed, a superhuman is still a superhuman. The Colonel snatched the hypersonic bullet—fired from mere meters away—with her fingers. Had her dynamic vision and reflexes been average, the outcome would have been different.
"I don't care... I don't care...! Kaldir is mine... Anyone who denies that has to pay the price, no matter who they are...!"
Shuga kept ranting even as she sprawled on the floor from the recoil. Aurora finally snapped out of her stunned silence, realizing this was actually happening in reality, and stepped between the Colonel and Shuga. No matter how advanced a robot is, can it ever overcome the sheer irrationality of humans?
"This isn't productive. If I may be so bold as to suggest—as a maid robot—that the two of you separate for a while?"
The black-haired maid robot trying to mediate between the two heated women was almost comical. The standoff between a robot capable of pure rational judgment and humans embodying irrationality didn't last long.
"Yes... we should continue this conversation later. I need to calm down too..."
Ssssk... The smell of burning flesh wafted from the Colonel's fingers, scorched from grabbing the red-hot bullet barehanded. Only after hearing Aurora's suggestion did she realize it, tossing the bullet to the floor and agreeing to withdraw.
Aurora expressed her gratitude for the Colonel's mercy and led Shuga out of the room. Shuga's yandere side, now suppressing her excitement and regaining reason, reflected that she might have been too harsh toward her future mother-in-law as a prospective daughter-in-law, and meekly followed Aurora's lead.
Since Kaldir wasn't here anyway, it was better to grab what they could quickly and head elsewhere.
"Ah, sis. You rushed off somewhere all of a sudden, and now you're finally back? Do you know how hard it was for a 9-year-old like me to move these heavy boxes alone?"
Welcoming Shuga and Aurora to the underground secret collection warehouse was the adorable little Solt. Shuga, who had sneaked upstairs after planting bugs and micro-cameras in the Colonel's office to eavesdrop—and bolted the moment she heard negative talk about herself—looked sheepish at Solt's pointed remark.
"Sorry. I must've lost my mind for a bit..."
The words were directed at herself, but she meant it—she'd truly gone mad. Completely obsessed with Kaldir. Mad enough to point a pistol at her mother-in-law after abandoning all reason. Even so, that was too impulsive. No matter what, she would never withdraw her feelings for Kaldir of her own will.
"Since you apologized, I'll forgive you, sis. But you rushed up there in such a hurry—did you get any results?"
"Results... results, huh... Come to think of it..."
The Colonel had bound me with telekinesis, but I broke free on my own and stormed out. I didn't realize it then, but now that I think about it, I have no idea how I did it. Was some hidden ability of mine finally awakening?
In truth, there was a circumstance Shuga couldn't possibly know. Aria, directing everything from behind the scenes, had helped Shuga awaken a new power using her rage as fuel—a balance patch ahead of the impending heroine tug-of-war, the doomsday battle with Atlantia the princess.
"That princess bitch has succubus-specific abilities, but facing her as a non-powered person? That's way too unfair."
And so, the ability Shuga accidentally awakened was Ability Seal. It might not be great against already-deployed persistent powers, but for abilities that don't persist without the user's will or ones not yet activated, there was no better trump card.
"Now I could really give that Atlantia slut a gut punch and take Kaldir back."
"Kyaaa, sis is so cool... I'm falling for you..."
Solt squealed in admiration at her big sister, who had realized her power and steeled her resolve. She looked like a total idol fangirl. If she realized her plans to dominate her sister had hit a snag now that sis had awakened powers, she wouldn't be this thrilled—but she didn't seem to have noticed that inconvenient truth.
"Looks like my powers are back. I really have no idea what happened earlier."
Out of Shuga's sight, the Colonel sensed her telekinesis returning and slumped into her chair. Exhausted from everything that had happened, even though her office chair wasn't particularly soft, her eyelids grew heavy... and she soon fell into a deep sleep.
"So, sis... if you've got some other plan, should we take these tools or leave them?"
"You never know how things will turn out, so let's leave the heavy boxes and just grab the light stuff."
Even with the powerful Ability Seal in hand, since she'd only just awakened it today, it was wise to have insurance. Hearing her sister's firm resolve, Solt helped pack relatively light items like whips, handcuffs, shackles, and iron chains into a trunk bag.
All this was merely preparation to punish Kaldir's cheating pussy and retaliate against her mistress Atlantia. Shuga wore a resolute expression, like a soldier before a banzai charge.
"So, Aurora, what's your take? If Kaldir isn't here either... where do you think she went? I have a few ideas myself..."
"I suspect she went to where Atlain I, the princess's father and Secretary-General, is located."
"Atlain the Secretary-General? Kaldir might've mentioned someone like that..."
Before setting out, Shuga asked Aurora for a destination suggestion. Aurora answered without hesitation, and Shuga made a dubious face before suddenly perking up her rabbit ears with a thwack!, as if finally realizing who she meant.
"Never thought I'd hear that name here. Let's go check it out."
Were they finally heading toward the finale? Ugh, we already have enough luggage for a long trip, and you're no help at all. Plang, who had been unconscious since getting zapped by Aurora, was carried out like baggage by the group.
The adulterous pussy punishment train departed with tremendous solemnity. Whatever the destination, something monumental was bound to happen there.
