War Breaks Out, Titanomachy (2)
Before we ascended to the surface.
In Tartarus, we had gained the Cyclopes and the Hecatoncheires as allies.
Three formidable Titans.
And three more Titans, each possessing the battle strength of fifty.
With their power, I believed we could surely defeat the Titan Race led by Cronus.
But was it truly safe to go up as we were?
"Brother! The wraiths of Hell are chasing us!"
"Damn it, we just wanted to leave quietly!"
We could not ascend easily.
As we tried to reach the surface, countless dead hands rose to stop us.
"Whoa... just how many are there?"
"I'd estimate at least tens of thousands."
"If it were only human spirits or monsters, it would be fine. But some who aren't of Gaia's bloodline—other Titans are imprisoned here as well. If they show up, our path to the surface could be completely blocked!"
Every wraith in Tartarus tried to bar our way.
The reason was simple.
You can't leave!
Countless wraiths blocked our path—beings who would normally tear each other apart, yet now they had become one, forming a wall of souls to stop us, every last one of them.
"This is insane."
Could we even escape this Hell?
The entire path to the River Styx was smothered in a mass of souls.
"Now I understand why no one has ever escaped Tartarus until now."
"It's not that physically breaking out is impossible... it's because of interference like this."
The Cyclopes and the Hecatoncheires weren't lacking the power to escape Tartarus on their own.
The reason they couldn't leave wasn't just that Cronus would sense it and rush to attack the moment they tried, but also that the other prisoners within Tartarus would never allow their escape.
Take us with you.
You're running away alone?
If we die, we die together.
Let's suffer here eternally.
Why only you?
They can't return to the surface, but someone else gets to flee?
"This is Hell itself."
Anyone escaping this Avici hellscape became the target of everyone's jealousy and envy—a massive obstacle to our escape.
"We'll ascend in full armor."
Therefore, we needed one definitive preparation for the escape.
To protect our bodies from the touch of the dead, especially the bodies of my sisters, we had to take measures to keep their skin from being touched by spectral hands.
"Is something like this possible? It's called full-body armor, designed so densely a blade can't find a gap."
I drew on memories from my past life and proposed full plate armor to the Cyclopes.
"That's not a traditional design."
"A cuirass with a skirt-type armor? That leaves their limbs exposed. We can't have wraiths popping up from below, right?"
"I see."
The Greek armor I remembered from comics was mostly similar to Julius Caesar's getup, but I figured going a step further into full-body heavy armor wouldn't hurt at all.
"If we're making them, let's make them for everyone. Yeah... all one hundred and fifty-nine. Everyone."
"You want to craft armor for every single person? Isn't that a bit excessive... actually, no, it's not."
"It's the perfect way to build up a large-scale force while avoiding Cronus's gaze. He may be wary of Tartarus... but he can't see inside it."
Everyone agreed with the core of my concern.
Preparedness prevents peril.
When preparing to win a war, there is no such thing as over-preparation.
"So, is it feasible?"
"If the three of us have enough time."
"Can't the Heraes also jump in and help make them? I'll help too."
"...Then we would need to supervise and direct them. Is that alright? You're going to be the Supreme God, is that okay?"
"Of course. As long as it lets us defeat Cronus."
And so.
The Cyclopes supervised and directed the one hundred and fifty Heraes and me, accelerating the production of the full-body armor.
Clang, clang, clang.
As a result of abandoning all aesthetics and focusing solely on defense and comfort, the final product resembled helmets that looked like steel pots and a form akin to a prototype steel golem.
The durability was satisfactory.
Unless someone possessed the muscle strength of me, Poseidon, or Hades, the armor could not be easily bent or damaged.
Still.
"This won't do. It's fine for the Heraes, but we can't put this on them!"
"Lord Zeus! This is tyranny. You're making the girls wear armor like this? Absolutely not! Let's remake the sets for Poseidon and Hades!"
"Indeed, a woman's armor must also be beautiful!"
Following the Cyclopes' suggestion, I immediately pulled up designs for female heavy cavalry that looked like they came straight from a K-RPG.
"Ooh, amazing!"
"No, I mean... we're fine with anything..."
"...Though we'd be grateful if you made them pretty."
The armor for Poseidon and Hades took on the look of something from an online game.
The design came together through my coaching, crude drawings, and the Cyclopes and Heraes, who grasped every detail perfectly.
It was a look anyone would call "lady general"—the kind of armor that wouldn't look out of place with an "Auto-Hunt" label spinning beside it. But in an era where Greek armor meant at most a sleeveless cuirass, this level of gear was perfection.
Armor truly fit for displaying divine majesty.
I was no exception.
Well, I wasn't wearing armor.
"Brother, are you not wearing armor?"
"Just this once."
Someday, a truly magnificent set of armor would be forged for me.
But against Cronus, armor was meaningless; it would only slow my body down and likely make me an easier target.
So I decided against making a set, opting for just a light cuirass.
Just as we, including the Heraes, had all armed ourselves and were about to depart Tartarus, we were ambushed again by a horde of wraiths who had noticed our attempt to escape.
Don't goooooo
We'll live together foreveeeeer
Where do you think you're going alone
If you're not taking us, you stay right heeere
The countless wraiths blocking our escape.
If we exhausted our strength fighting them, we would have no power left to use once we reached the surface.
Our food supplies were dwindling, and the original vessel we had arrived in was also wrecked by the wraiths' attacks.
In that truly desperate situation, we received help from an old man.
CRACKLE!!
Countless bolts of lightning rained down from the sky.
Wraiths were annihilated, body and soul, by the lightning.
I was stunned by the overwhelming lightning, something I had never seen in Hell.
"Ah, ah...!!"
The Cyclopes and the Heraes hid behind me the moment they saw the old man approaching from the distance.
"The children of Cronus, are you? You've grown well."
The white-haired old man looked us over, staring especially hard at me, before unleashing lightning among the wraiths.
"Go. And bring vengeance for those imprisoned underground."
"You are...?"
"It would only shame me to speak my name. But should you find a good opportunity for revenge... sell my name."
CRACKLE!!
"The one who was once the sky."
The old man formed a blue spear of lightning in his hand and hurled it.
The lightning spear shot forward, sweeping the wraiths away and carving a path to the River Styx.
"Go. New sky."
It felt like witnessing Noah's Ark, and I felt genuine chills.
"You are... as I thought...!"
"My bloodline, I have one request... bring bloody vengeance upon the fiend who harmed his own parents."
The old man's eyes burned with rage, and I unleashed my power with a heart ready to repay his grace.
Uranus Kick.
While escaping Tartarus, we'd received help from that unexpected ally. Upon reaching the River Styx, we secured a boat and arrived on the surface.
We surfaced at absolutely the perfect moment.
* * *
He got kicked in the nuts.
That was for Cronus personally. As for Cronus's Titan army, we struck them from behind.
Waaaaahㅡㅡ!!
The Heraes dominated the battlefield like fish taking to water.
Groups of three joined forces to hurl boulders, which rained down like a shower. The Titan gods were pummeled all over their bodies, blood streaming down.
The same went for Cronus's penis.
"Kh...! Tactical retreat!!"
Just like when we rescued Rhea, Cronus grabbed his testicles and fled the battlefield.
"...Is it over?"
With a worried heart, I muttered those ill-omened words.
I half-expected Cronus, who had been feigning pain, to spin around and launch a counterattack the moment I spoke. But luckily, he did not charge back at us.
I had seared his cock with lightning, of all places.
In the past, I had only kicked it. Now it wasn't just the physical pain of an impact—it had been fried by lightning. The pain must have been excruciating beyond words.
"This is only the beginning."
The full-scale war was only just "beginning" now.
I don't know exactly how this war will end, but one thing is certain.
"This war is our victory."
I was sure of it.
I was now equal to or greater than Cronus.
By intercepting the shaft of the Scythe, I had proven my power.
I grew stronger through sex, and having embraced the women of Tartarus as well, my strength was now on par with Cronus's.
That was a close call.
I walked towards the man sprawled out on the battlefield.
"It's been a while, Prometheus."
"...I am honored to meet you, Lord Zeus."
The young man who had nearly been bisected by Cronus was gaunt and haggard as he bowed his head to me.
Glint.
The Scythe hadn't even been on fire, yet his crown was gleaming.
If he had just shaved it all off, I could call it a skinhead. But except for the very top, his head was covered in sparse, patchy bristles, leaving me at a loss for words.
"Great Zeus, my hair is of no concern. I have arranged a temple for you, so please, let us relocate there."
"What?"
"I have been preparing land for you for ages. Please, make your choice. Where shall it be?"
Following the advice of the shiny-headed Prometheus, we decided to establish a base in a new location.
Prometheus proposed three sites, and I chose one that felt both familiar and utterly inevitable.
"We'll go with this place."
"...An excellent choice. As expected of Lord Zeus."
That place was
Olympus, as it was called.
My pleasure palace and future harem: a natural fortress and a mountain that soared straight into the heavens.
