[Yandere, Pure Love] The Busty Menhera-Obsessive Maman Guardian Angel — 4
Azael.
From the Heavenly Realm she gazed down at her, pitiful and aching with longing. The girl's name was Hayeon. A pitiful, lonely soul. Among the guardian angels she was spoken of in just those words, for Hayeon was the heroine of a thoroughly unfortunate life.
When a soul's suffering ran to excess, or when someone had achieved great merit in a former life, God bestowed a grace upon them. That grace was the guardian angels themselves.
The Hayeon she had watched was a girl of three unjust deaths, and of seven sacrifices of herself for the sake of others — a tragic life, all of it. Two of those deaths, if they were to be told, went like this. Once, inside a blaze an arsonist had set, she saved people she had never so much as met, and before that hellfire she was reduced to a handful of ash. Another time, finding a child who had fallen into the water at night, she went in to save them and in the end could not overcome the current; the two of them became a single turbid flow. For the record, breathing her last in the water was Hayeon's ninth death.
"..."
In truth, back when Azael was still an Apprentice Guardian Angel, she had come to the human realm on a field internship and come face to face with the very moment Hayeon died beneath the water. The girl, holding on to the last, her strength finally spent, an instant from being sucked under. The timing had aligned by the barest margin, and Azael caught the sight. The moment she saw it from afar, she dove in.
But that night the sea's current was stronger than ever, and darker. Had it not been so, Hayeon — living then as a haenyeo — would never have become a reckless castaway upon the waves.
How many dozens of times did she choke down the urge to scream beneath the water? By the time her desperate heart found Hayeon, everything was already far too late.
...Ah... aaah...
In that struggle, where even a scream had to be swallowed because they were underwater, Azael — no, a guardian angel who had admired that pure goodwill more than anyone — could cling to only one thought.
A hero like this must never, ever be remembered as a water ghost who dragged a child away.
On that single conviction she broke the Heavenly Realm's decree — the living are the charge of guardian angels; the dead, of the reapers — and, before the body could grow any more hideous, buried it whole in a sunlit place.
She had not chosen the grave on a whim. If there had been next of kin, she had meant to deliver the body to them. As it happened, in that life too, poor Hayeon had not a single relative, and so Azael gladly became that kin herself. The child's corpse alone she sent back by an angel's power, so that it might later find its way, naturally, into the family's arms.
When all of it was over, on the evening of the next day, she knelt at the grave where she had laid her, without having slept a wink.
"You must have been... so cold."
And into it she poured her fury at herself, who had been able to do nothing, and a pity for Hayeon that had no end.
"...I'm sorry."
At first, the tone was calm.
"I'm... I'm so sorry... hhk... hk—! Haa... nngh...!"
But she broke before she could even finish a second try. Clutching Hayeon's grave, she wept like someone unhinged and did nothing but apologize, over and over. She offered up prayers, cursed from the heart the god who had written Hayeon so wretched a fate, and prayed again — past the next morning, until evening came around once more.
And so, from that day, Azael made her resolve. If the chance ever came to her, then even if she had to burn herself away to do it, she would protect that child.
Afterward, in the Heavenly Realm, where time flowed far more slowly than in the world of the living, she finished her long apprenticeship and became an Official Guardian Angel. She pestered and pleaded with the Goddess of Protection until, at last, she succeeded in becoming Hayeon's guardian angel.
And so, by the reckoning of the living world, fourteen years had passed since she became Hayeon's guardian angel. This is a story from seven years before she would meet her.
Poor, pitiful thing...
She sat before the Heavenly Realm's monitor, pressing down on a lower belly and a chest that kept growing hot, and watched Hayeon. In this life too Hayeon had grown up an orphan, and yet, much as in the lives before, she was getting on with a stubborn brightness. Watching her, Azael felt pride — and at the same time she burned with impatience. Enough to set her knees trembling.
It was absolutely not the fear that she might never be allowed to step in. Most guardian angels held that a life with no need of them was the best life of all, and Azael was no different. So why the ache?
A guardian angel's abilities activate according to the lack in their ward, so that the lack may be filled. However clear and untainted Hayeon's nature, a human being cannot help but carry sexual desire. And... well. In this life, it was not being let out in any normal way.
In the records of her previous lives, there was in fact no entry of Hayeon ever taking a boyfriend. No entry of her meeting a woman, either. Nor had she enjoyed a promiscuous sex life. There was a time Azael knew she shouldn't, and still could not restrain the impulse, and went digging through Hayeon's romantic history.
Sexual Experience: 0
Relationships: 0
Confessions Received: 340
She read only that, and shut the records. Forcing down, all the while, the corners of a mouth that kept trying to climb for reasons she would not examine.
Back then, she hadn't known. That it would come back around like this.
Across the story of those lives, the entries reading she suppressed her desire because she had no choice numbered in the millions. They stacked, overlapped, wrote themselves over one another — and in this tenth life, they seemed at last to be venting the way a volcano boils over.
And here, let us go back over it once more. A guardian angel's abilities activate according to the lack in their ward, so that the lack may be filled.
The ability granted to her.
Heat +999
Lewdness +999
Licentiousness +999
Compassion for Her Ward +99,999
(This value was not conferred. It is assessed to be an ability she originally possessed.)
An ability ordinary guardian angels would never know — one even she was seeing for the first time. What sort of ability was Lewdness, and how, at the same time, did it differ from Licentiousness? The question closed around her. For a long while she blinked at the scroll of abilities she had brought back from the angel ability window.
"...Ah?"
In the ordinary way of things, a guardian angel was meant to appear just before their ward died — suicide included — or just before an accident that would leave aftereffects on that scale. Most of them therefore received Strength, or Healing, or a Spiritual Power possessed of a powerful capacity for care, so they might cradle their ward's safety. While she waited for Hayeon's reincarnation, Azael herself had gone out on a few assignments holding abilities of just that kind.
"Nnh... n-nnh?"
And now an ability she had never once heard of had come out. The numbers were wrong, too. Originally one was supposed to divide a hundred ability points, in a form like this.
Strength +25
Healing +50
Spiritual Power +25
But.
"Nine hundred ninety-nine.....?"
Even she, with a fair stretch of years behind her as a guardian angel, had never heard of figures like these. For reference, an ability scroll was a portion of the Goddess of Protection's authority, parceled out to her. Once a certain time passed after the scroll was received, that power flowed of its own accord into the guardian angel in question. Which was to say: once it had been decided, there was no avoiding it.
Rustle.
"...Ah—!"
She had been tilting her head and blinking at the absurd contents of the scroll. It did not last. Soon the scroll in her hands was gone, and her body began, slowly, to change — for the sake of Hayeon, down in the human realm.
What followed was, well... exactly as the ability scroll had written it. Her body began to fall into a tremendous heat. Abilities scaled in proportion to the ward's longing. In other words, the more Hayeon ached in the world of the living, the more she suffered, the more the ability made to embrace her intensified... and the more wretched it became.
As previously stated, this was seven years ago. More precisely, it coincided with the moment Hayeon's puberty began.
"...U-uuh...?!"
Azael startled and went home first of all. Twitching, trying to confirm just what change was coming over her body, she checked the place that had flared hottest of all... her own sex.
"...Wh... what is this?"
And there she saw a Barrier of Light cast over it. A finger, of course, had no chance of getting in. Even the chopsticks she tried, just in case —
...Nngh.
— showed not a shred of possibility. For the record, she resolved then and there that the matter of having held chopsticks to her sex was something she would carry alone to the grave.
At any rate, having gone through that entire sequence, she clutched at straws and contacted the Goddess through the direct line in her home.
"Y-you can undo it, can't you...?! Right...?"
"Of course... I know that child is harboring that kind of longing, so I'm not asking you to take the authority back... but..."
Unbefitting her demure looks, she said it panting for breath.
"E-even so... nnh... at least masturbation..."
"...You could let me do that much..."
She said to the Goddess everything that ought to be said and everything that ought not, and begged in earnest. But the answer that came back —
"—No, why on earth not...!!"
— was a refusal, sure enough. She stamped her feet. The reason: an ability meant for the ward must not be weakened. The very act of relieving her heat ran, indirectly, counter to Hayeon's longing, and so it was impossible. Only after hearing that could she bring herself to give up.
...Right. It's for Hayeon...
"—I... I... I... ahh... but this really is... too much to bear...!"
She couldn't, actually. Her lower belly, which kept throbbing and keening, hurt so badly that in the end she went to see the Goddess of Protection in person, to ask whether there was any other way. All that came down, together with the answer, were sedatives and... some strange articles of clothing.
"It is what that child desires. Endure it."
"Um, excuse me... what are these badge-like things... Goddess...?"
"Ni... ahem. Ahem... nip...."
"Nip... what was that, Goddess?"
"Nipple covers. That child will like them."
As she went through the garments one by one, her face flushed scarlet in an instant.
"Whaaat...?!"
"...You remember, don't you? The time you buried that child on your own whim, and insulted God, my direct superior."
She flinched. In truth, even before she heard those words, the heat had kept her squirming and twitching without a pause.
"Yes..."
"Let us say the punishment for that affair is being given now."
"...Y-you said you'd let that one go... Don't you know double jeopardy...?"
"...Ahem. Hush. Pop in and out of the human realm often enough, and now you're citing human law at me."
"Th-the principle of double jeopardy is in celestial decree t—"
"Ah-ah! I told you that child will like them too. Take them and get out!"
In truth, it was quite right that the Goddess of Protection had been forced to run herself ragged, making excuses this way and that, because of Azael's sudden action back then. Thanks to that, Azael had been spared not only dismissal from her post as a guardian angel, but exile as well. And because she had followed at the Goddess's side and watched with her own eyes the ordeal endured on her behalf, even if the Goddess changed her word now, Azael had no choice but to simply accept it.
…
And so, until Hayeon struggled badly enough to need her, she had to keep enduring, locked in heat with no way out.
Had it been mentioned already that time in the Heavenly Realm flows more slowly than in the world of the living? The ratio was fully one to ten. Of course she could go on assignments to the living world, and the hours she spent looking down on Hayeon's life through that world's monitor passed at the same speed as the living world itself.
Uuu... nnhh...
Even if she watched nothing but Hayeon's life without a stop, it came to roughly seven years — and those seven years were only clear because she was looking back now. At the time, she had no way of knowing when Hayeon would come to need her. And because she wanted to respect Hayeon's privacy as well, watching without a stop was impossible. In the end she had to take a vicious intensity of heat into her woman's body, intact, for what felt like decades. Without a single release, no less.
In the course of it, that high-intensity heat — which had not dried up for even a moment — worked a slight change upon her heart. And in the end, the compassion toward her ward inside her manifested in a form that enormously drew up a yandere, menhera, obsessive streak, together with a maternal devotion toward the one she protected.
"...Mm."
"Might that not be better, actually...?"
Our fetish-connoisseur of a Goddess gave it her stamp of approval, and sending her to Hayeon's side just like that was the whole of the affair.
"Mmm... but, baby... you know?"
"...Yes?"
"Hee-hee... now that Maman's gone and explained it..."
"I can't hold back anymore, you see?"
"We did promise you so many nice things...♡ Shall we get started?"
"..."
She said it with a lewd, bewitching smile, to Hayeon — whom she had been pinning and smothering beneath her body all this while.
