This Summer, Where Shall We Travel?
"Eeeek!!!"
After saying goodbye to Seol-ah, I stepped into Fox's house — and Fox came flying at me, practically vibrating with excitement. Had it really only been a few days? Was she that happy to see me? She clung to my neck, bouncing up and down, a complete whirlwind.
"Hehe. This girl... Come in, Seo-hoo."
"I'm back, Eun-ju."
With Fox still hanging off my neck, I walked over to the other woman waiting to greet me — Eun-ju — and kissed her. She hadn't shown it on the surface, but she must have missed me plenty. The moment I pulled her into my arms, I could feel her heart hammering against my chest. I pressed my mouth to hers, sucking softly, trading spit.
It didn't even last five seconds.
Fox grabbed me by both cheeks and yanked my face down toward hers.
"Mister, me too, me too! Mwah-mwah-mwah."
If Mother Fox's kiss was all mature softness, Fox's was a full-on assault. Could you even call it a kiss? She was practically licking my lips off my face. She hadn't used to be like this... A few days apart and she was already going through withdrawal.
Ring-ring had been the same way when she was younger. There'd even been a stretch where she sucked on the Master's nose. Hard to picture, given the way Ring-ring carried herself these days — but it had happened.
At any rate, it was a timely reminder that Fox was, in fact, an Obsessive Girl.
"Did you two already eat?"
"No! We were waiting in case you showed up!"
"Perfect. I was just getting hungry myself."
And so, for the first time in a while, the three of us sat around the table together, eating the pollack stew Mother Fox had prepared and talking through the days ahead. The agenda in question: summer vacation.
"Mister. Mom said you promised to take us somewhere this summer!"
"Yeah. Anywhere you want to go?"
The two foxes, mother and daughter, looked at each other. Then they shouted at the same time.
"Of course there is!"
They proceeded to offer me three candidates and told me to pick one. The list: Honolulu, Hawaii. New Zealand. And Fiji.
The south, huh. Emerald water as far as the eye could see. My guess landed dead-on. Neither of them had ever been abroad, and they were carrying around a full-blown fantasy about those turquoise seas.
"I bet it's so beautiful in real life!"
Fox's eyes sparkled as she said it, her voice full of wonder. Mother Fox wasn't saying much, but she was spinning the same daydream just as hard.
Heh. Well. This summer's destination was as good as decided.
I nodded and answered. No point dragging it out now that we were this far along.
"Then how about we pick a place right now?"
"Ahhhh! Mister, you're the best!"
And just like that, the storm of chatter began. I sat between the two of them, smiling pleasantly, lazily kneading their asses and breasts while they talked. When women get a trip on the table, they will sit there and talk for four or five hours without coming up for air. Jumping into the conversation anytime in the next four hours would have been plenty early.
That said, the real question was whether I'd be going with just the two of them.
I ran through the combinations I could reasonably bring along. First, Min-ah, who was quite close with the fox mother and daughter. Do-hyang, who was scheduled to come up and help me out. And Sae-rom, who was currently lending the two of them a hand. That was about it. There were others I could think of, but this felt like the right number. Too many and I wouldn't be able to take care of them all — and if I wanted to actually enjoy being overseas for the first time in a while, I'd need some breathing room. Whether we kept things wholesome or filthy.
I was sitting there smiling, listening to them talk, when my phone suddenly buzzed. I checked the screen. Ring-ring.
"Give me a second. I need to take this."
"Okaaay~"
The answer was so halfhearted I glanced over. Both women had their phones out and were locked in open combat over where to go. Eun-ju wanted New Zealand. Ye-rim wanted Hawaii. They were listing off selling points and butting heads with zero intention of backing down, and I couldn't help but laugh.
God, they looked so alike. Same hairstyle, same double eyelids — it was like someone had stood a mirror between them. The only real difference was a few fine lines along Mother Fox's neck and at the corners of her eyes.
Nnh... looking at them like this, I was getting the urge to take them both at once.
That was when a voice came through the receiver.
"Seo-hoo?"
Ah, damn. Right. I was on a call.
I stepped into the bedroom and answered.
"Yes, Ring-ring. I'm listening."
"We've assigned a skilled shill to the target. He'll be moving to Macau shortly. What do you intend to do after that?"
What did I intend to do...
I cracked the bedroom door and looked out at the fox mother and daughter, still going at it. The two of them were holding up their phones at each other, voices rising. Didn't look like they were reaching a compromise. Come on, Eun-ju... you're not a child. Just let your daughter win.
Anyway.
The crime of touching my two women, who deserved to be happy. The crime of laying a hand on what was inside my fence — on what was mine. That debt needed to be paid. Paid hard.
But I didn't answer right away, so Ring-ring continued. In the same flat, bloodless, clerical tone Seol-ah used, she offered her own opinion.
"If you haven't given it any thought, I'll handle it on my end."
Handle it on her end...
"Is it what I think it is?"
"It probably is."
Brutal.
When Ring-ring said she would handle it, what she meant was: harvest the organs, sell every last one, stuff what was left in a drum, pour concrete, and dump it in the ocean. Not that Ring-ring personally ran an organ-trafficking operation. But hand a job like that to the people on the Chinese side and that was exactly the fate waiting at the other end. Whether you dumped a body in the ocean or emptied it out first and then dumped it, from their perspective the result was the same — they just needed to make him vanish without a trace and prove to us the job was done.
I thought it over for a moment. Then I spoke, quietly.
"No. It'll be a bit of a hassle, but I have something different in mind."
However badly someone had screwed up, a life was still a life. I did genuinely terrible things, I wouldn't pretend otherwise — but even I had a line. Never touch a minor. And treat a life as something that matters. Call it rich, coming from a bastard like me... but those two lines, I wanted to keep.
"What would you like me to do?"
"Ugh... fuck. Today's luck is complete shit. How does every single bet go wrong?"
The guy next to me snorted at my muttering. His name was Kyung-soo, and he'd come to Macau with me to gamble. We'd met in a bar, hit it off so well it felt like fate, and by the end of that first night we were already calling each other bro. A decent enough guy, if you overlooked the gambling addiction. Oh, and one more thing — thanks to that, he was completely insane about money.
"Tell me about it. I'm having a garbage night too. Tomorrow'll be better, though, right?"
"Yeah. For every cold streak there's a hot one...!"
We climbed into the car and drove through streets already sunk in darkness. A cool breeze drifted in and brushed my cheek. After hours of locked-in concentration I should have been exhausted... but losing money didn't make you tired. It made you something closer to angry, and that burned the sleep right off.
Just a rotten run of luck. Baccarat. A glorified odd-or-even game. If I'd had more cash to work with, I could have really gone at it properly.
Kyung-soo, behind the wheel, seemed to be thinking the same thing. He glanced over at me out of nowhere.
"This isn't working. I know a place. Let's stop there and borrow some money before we head back to the hotel."
"Okay."
We pulled up in some filthy alley. He told me to wait a minute and went into a building. I didn't have anything else to do, so I shoved the seat all the way back and sat there.
Yeah. The cards had been ugly tonight. I'd play a bit tomorrow, and if the table started looking right, I'd double the stakes. No way the run stayed this filthy two days in a row.
I closed my eyes with that plan in my head, letting the idle tremor of the car take my weight... click. A door opening, sudden and close.
Huh? He was back already?
I didn't know why the sound was coming from the passenger side — the side I was sitting on — but I opened my eyes and turned my head.
And in the instant my vision started to come back, something lunged in and clamped over my mouth.
Mmph?! A harsh, chemical stink flooded my nose, and my head went white.
Shit. Don't tell me it's robbers—
Everything was hazy. And my skull was pounding. I opened my eyes through a pain like hundreds of needles driving in at once and pushed myself up off the floor.
A ceiling I didn't recognize. Filthy walls. Someone had tried to keep the place up, but it was old — the wallpaper had gone yellow in patches, and mold crept along the corners of the ceiling where water had been leaking through.
I knew what this was. Instinctively.
I've been kidnapped...
The kind of thing that happened among chaebol families from time to time. I had never once imagined I'd be the one it happened to.
I whipped my head around, hunting for a way out. No windows. The only exit in this place was a single door. I put my hands on it — steel. I threw my whole body against it as hard as I could. It didn't budge.
Damn it.
I was about to give up when I felt a presence on the other side. Footsteps. Someone was coming. Just one, from the sound of it. One of the bastards who'd locked me in here?
Not that it mattered who it was. I pounded on the door and shouted at him.
"How much do you want? Get me out of here and I'll make it worth your while! Please, open the door!!"
Nothing came back from the other side. Instead, after a moment, something slid in through a small hatch at the bottom of the door.
Dumplings.
Okay. Is this a joke?
A cold feeling crawled up my spine the second I saw them. Why fried dumplings of all things? Why?
"Who — who the hell are you? Are you the one who locked me in here? Open this thing! Open it right now! I said open it!!!"
The footsteps receded, slow and even. Whoever had left me the dumplings did not come back.
But if I kept shouting, someone would hear. If they found out who I was, they'd let me go. I wasn't some nobody from a movie. I was a completely different class of person.
My voice rang through empty air. It hit the steel door and echoed hollowly around the room. No presence answered. Only my own shouting came back to me, and the joints of the steel door shrieked and groaned under the beating I was giving them.
Locked in a place I couldn't name, I howled for a long, long time. Until my throat gave out. Until I had nothing left and couldn't make a sound.
"...In that case, I'll need to find someone who knows how to make fried dumplings."
Huh. Unexpected. I'd figured she didn't watch movies.
Apparently she did. That would make this easier.
"Yes. Please do that."
"Understood. I'll make the arrangements and handle it."
She was about to hang up, then kept going, as if there was something else.
"That's..."
She started the sentence and then sat on it for a long time. What was she trying to say? She'd done this before — started to tell me something and then stopped. Apparently it still wasn't time, because she couldn't finish it this time either.
"...Never mind. At any rate, I'll take care of things. Also — the Master said he'd like to meet with you soon."
Well... she'd tell me eventually. The fact that she'd started to say it at all meant she intended to.
That aside. So it was finally happening. Time to accept the Master's proposal.
"Let's do that. Tell him I'll come as soon as I have some free time."
"Yes. I'll contact you again once the job is done."
Click. And that was the end of the call with Ring-ring.
Seol-ah's son was as good as handled. Ring-ring herself was moving on this — that brat slipping the net was not a possibility worth entertaining.
And yet, even with it settled so cleanly... I sat in the bedroom for a long time, staring at the dark screen of the phone in my hand, turning something over.
Had accepting the Master's proposal that day, for the sake of revenge, really been the right call? Honestly, not regretting past choices was a principle of mine. But now that my head had cooled, a late, nagging doubt had crept in. Maybe I shouldn't have done it.
I was too emotional back then.
I should have handled it myself, even if it took longer. Instead I'd crawled right back into the tiger's mouth I'd worked so hard to escape. How much had I given to get out from under that old man?
And then the bedroom door eased open. Two faces poked through the gap.
"Mister, are you still on the phone?"
"Is the call over?"
Hah... well.
I'd really gotten myself hooked this time, hadn't I.
Looking at the fox mother and daughter staring at me with those round eyes, every last scrap of regret vanished, and a smile pulled at my mouth before I could stop it.
Heh... yeah. Even if I got the chance to do it all over again, a guy like me would make the same choice. Someone touched my beautiful women. Paying that back on the spot was only right.
I slipped the phone into my pocket and walked toward them, smiling.
"No. Just hung up. So? Where'd you decide to go?"
Both of them rushed me at once, each one demanding I hear her out.
"See! It's Hawaii, right?!"
"No it isn't! It's New Zealand, right?!"
I ruffled both their heads and steered us out toward the living room. What did it matter where we went? As long as I had these two, I was fine.
I grabbed a handful of ass on each side, and the two of them said:
"Then today's rule is whoever collapses first loses! How about it, Mom? Call?"
And by collapse, of course, she meant from a threesome. Mother Fox accepted on the spot.
"Call!!"
Which is how we ended up starting a threesome much earlier than usual. It had been a while — might as well play properly. I had my doubts either of them would still be standing by midnight, but I walked them into the bedroom anyway, one on each side, clothes already coming off in a heap.
"So. Who wants to go first today?"
"Me! Me!! Mister, me first!"
"No, Seo-hoo! Me first!"
Heh. Don't they realize going first puts them at a disadvantage in the bet? Honestly, when it came to me, this mother and daughter were so simple it was charming.
I pulled them both in and went down onto the bed with them. Order didn't matter. We had to start somewhere.
"Then start by sucking my cock."
The fox mother and daughter answered in unison.
"Yeees~"
