The Milky Way
The screams echoed across the satellites.
“Kyaaaaaaaagh!”
“Save us! God! Please send reinforcements here!”
From Biin’s perspective, the creatures looked annoyingly similar to Homo sapiens—animals that somehow spoke and possessed intelligence. They scrambled desperately across the narrow satellites.
“Uahahahaha! Kneel before me, all of you! This Yogur-tosoth is the one true god!”
Yogur-tosoth seemed to find hunting these far weaker civilians incredibly entertaining. He slaughtered most of them, destroyed key structures, and even smashed the space-time magic circles that facilitated teleportation. Then, in a twisted reversal, he erected barriers around the satellite and completely wiped out the cities and farmland built upon it.
The conquest was complete. Sensing that he could now exert control over his divinity in this place, Biin activated World Shaping and poured a massive amount of nectar toward Yogur-tosoth so the creature could feast.
“Creator! Please pour even more divinity into this place! I shall construct a spiritual realm and take control of the mighty space-time magical power dwelling here!”
Space-Time Satellite LV.10: A celestial body that stores space-time mana from the Great Universe. It grows naturally with each World Collision and reaches peak power in the final round.
Detailed Explanation: An organ that emits the flow of space-time existing within the Great Universe. It is a fragment of an external object once possessed by an entity called a god, scattered across the cosmos. It continues to regulate the flow of space-time even now.
So this was the type of terrain. If the god fragments were parts of Mihun’s own body, then these were perhaps his equipment? Or some kind of tool? It seemed that instead of a billion individual god fragments, they manifested as these satellites.
Biin poured an enormous amount of divinity into the satellite, linking it to himself and then to Yogur-tosoth while continuously feeding it vast quantities of nectar. The gluttonous creature was surprisingly competent; it began modifying the satellite as if transforming it into a spaceship.
“I shall advance toward the other satellites.”
“Ah, do as you wish. My traits seem to make movement through outer space quite convenient. Just give me the direction and coordinates and I’ll teleport you there instantly using divinity.”
Biin had already roughly identified fourteen more satellites in the vicinity. Not all of them seemed to have colonies built on them, but they were undoubtedly terrains that emitted powerful flows and condensed resources.
Let’s take them all. If it wasn’t a bug, he’d simply capture and kill anything that got in his way.
Meanwhile, the most aggrieved person in this universe was currently losing his mind.
“No!!! Does that even make sense?! The opponent’s creation crossed over but it didn’t transfer to my ownership?”
“It is because of that player’s trait.”
“Then why can’t I send my army to that satellite where my citizens are dying?!”
“That is… because the opponent seized the space-time satellites first. It is only natural that you cannot use their power.”
“Then I’ll use the power of the other satellites! There are fire ones, curse ones, and plenty of aggressive satellites!”
“Ah, that is… those satellites have already been suppressed.”
“How?!?!?! Even if the opponent’s monster is a bit strong, it’s just one giant monster. It should obviously starve to death without supplies!”
“The opponent possesses a trait that allows limited remote supply…”
“How many traits does he have?! Who the hell is this guy!!!”
“That information cannot be provided. He has not disclosed it himself.”
“Doesn’t he already know who I am?!”
“Yes. He most likely does. Currently, only Lord Terasion can travel through space, and Lord Terasion has made his own traits public.”
Yet there had been no contact. The opponent clearly had no intention of conversing.
Terasion felt like he was going insane from the sheer injustice of it all.
“No, please. Don’t lie to me! Of all things! This is only the tenth round! We’re in the medieval era! In that medieval era, I’m the only one who achieved space expansion, yet a monster capable of using level 11 or higher space-time magic appeared, flew into my world, and that monster maintains its original divine ownership because of its trait so I can’t control it, and on top of that it even has a trait that allows remote supply?!”
“Yes.”
Terasion really felt like he was going to lose his mind from the injustice.
After raging and arguing until he was nearly frothing at the mouth, he watched all fifteen of the satellites he had worked so hard to develop, invested resources into, and made the core of his build—satellites that even handled external divine resources—get swallowed by an overwhelming surge of divinity. They leaped across space and vanished somewhere. He was rendered completely speechless.
“What is that?”
“The opponent possesses a trait that allows him to do that…”
“I told you to stop lying for real!!! How many mythic-grade traits does that guy have that he can do all of this?!”
“Well… two, to be precise. As expected.”
“Uwaaaaaaaaang~! Why do I have to suffer like this! Why only me!!! Why does the world torment me like this!”
Having had the very pillars of his household ripped out, Terasion rolled around on the floor in his elegant, dress-wearing avatar like a madman.
He wanted to vomit but could not. He wanted to go insane but could not. All he could do was throw a tantrum inside a god’s body.
The angel broke out in a cold sweat, genuinely at a loss for words because she felt so sorry for him. But what could she do? This was the game’s judgment and its rules.
The one small mercy was that his traits had not disappeared. Even if the satellites were plundered, new ones would enter his ownership. He would always control a fixed number of them.
Biin could not remain in outer space indefinitely either. No matter how much divinity he possessed, the amount he had just expended was enormous.
It was fundamentally the same as expanding into Unclaimed Land. He would have to keep pouring divinity into the plundered satellites to maintain them.
Terasion wept loudly. The sorrow and injustice felt suffocating, yet time simply flowed on.
At least there was this much consolation: unless the newly acquired satellites used space-time magic to bring in external personnel again, he would not have to suffer such humiliation a second time.
Disaster Phase 2
Terasion screamed, “I’ve already been screwed over, what the hell is another disaster?!”
“I am sorry. This is according to the rules…”
“This is too much! It’s a mythic-grade trait because it breaks the rules, so why is the judgment ‘only I can do this’ being allowed for someone else too!”
The angel had never seen Terasion break down like this before. Even while suffering humiliation, oppression, and disgrace at the hands of the pirates, he had maintained his dignity. To think he would fall so far…
Still, there should be no further threats… The angel broke out in another cold sweat as she prepared the disaster section.
She glanced sideways.
Of all things, a disaster like this had to come up… [Stabilize Public Sentiment] and [Unclaimed Land Expansion]. In this situation where he already lost unclaimed territory and his public sentiment is shattered, these of all things?
Still, he would overcome it. Hardships that do not kill a player only make them stronger.
He was becoming more perfect with every blow he took. Believing this, the angel could only support the former Rank 1 player so he could regain his former majesty.
While his clone and Yogur-tosoth were busy conquering space, the clone in charge of community management was performing a very important role.
Biin first received the points from the Pan-Dimensional Pirates, then—knowing full well they were scammers—exchanged the points with others to confirm there were no issues before sharing the information.
He had earned 10 million points. With this, the pirates would naturally keep Terasion—or whatever his name was—in check.
Just then, Yogur-tosoth and his clone returned from outer space, arriving near his world.
When the fifteen “real” constellations—or rather, satellites—were placed upon the land connected to the Constellations, an insane flow poured into the world as if a hole had been punched through space itself.
“Creator. As promised.”
“Yeah. They’re all yours now. I’ll even help you grow them further.”
Using World Shaping, Biin enlarged the satellites even more. He assisted a deeply moved Yogur-tosoth as the creature exploited the massive flows from the now-larger satellites to create new spirits.
The bland, water-downed [Milk] entities became healthier. The spirits, empowered by the mana of the Great Universe, differentiated into various attributes according to Yogur-tosoth’s commands and will. They would compete, prey upon one another, and evolve, creating new types of spirit lifeforms.
And unlike the Nectar Well, the starlight pouring down from outer space resembled a galaxy. It should literally be called the Milky Way.
This place would become a separate domain from the Nectar Well and Creamland. Until the Great Firmament was fully expanded, it would supply his world with abundant mana and flow.
The maintenance was roughly complete.
The message rang out and time froze.
Biin naturally turned to look at the angel who appeared within the stopped time. The angel was sweating profusely. He wondered why a being that wasn’t even a real person was acting like that.
“What’s wrong?”
“No, it’s just… I was thinking Lord Terasion is too pitiful, ugh.”
“Are you his angel? You’re my angel, so work for me.”
“Well… that is true. Then, although I already explained the second disaster section… shall I explain it once more?”
The angel stared directly at him with a serious expression and began explaining the rules.
“In the second disaster section, the number of mandatory disasters increases from one to two. If even one of those two disasters is not resolved, you will acquire a penalty trait. Even if you resolve one, its power will not be reduced.”
In short, he had to do both no matter what.
“Additionally, you can only receive up to two extra disasters. The benefits gained from resolving extra disasters remain equal.”
I see. So those were the rules…
Biin chose without hesitation.
“I’ll take all the additional disasters. I don’t think anything will appear that my current weight class can’t handle.”
“A wise choice. Someone as powerful as you, Lord Biin, who stands at the very forefront, must not back down. Then… I shall now reveal the disasters.”
The angel pulled out four cards.
She immediately removed the two cards indicating the mandatory disasters.
“Huh? What’s this?”
“The two mandatory disasters have already been resolved. Congratulations. You do not need to worry about receiving penalty traits.”
“Eh???”
The angel explained as if it were obvious.
“It is only natural. The disasters that arrive are of the maximum level 10 intensity. But consider this: even your lowest stat, Politics, has already exceeded level 10, and your total score is approaching level 16. Therefore, you had already ‘preemptively’ resolved the conditions of the two mandatory disasters.”
The two cards the angel showed him were Excellent Living Space and Powerful Military Force. His world had plenty of large, splendid nests and overwhelming military strength. So they passed instantly.
Well, it made sense… If the disasters were so severe that even the top ranks couldn’t handle them, the game would collapse by common sense.
“Then. I shall now show you the two additional disasters. We shall truly begin the ‘disaster section’!”
Why shouldn’t you steal from others?
Why shouldn’t you kill others?
Why shouldn’t you torment others?
Why shouldn’t you violate others?
These things are so fun and profitable…! Why deny such instincts! The fundamental nature of living beings is undoubtedly evil!
[Evil]
All living creatures will have a significantly higher chance of expressing evil personalities. This may be good or bad. If your creations manifest their personality traits positively, it will become a powerful advantage.
Our tribe is the most superior!
Our race is the greatest existence!
We are the mainstream of this world!
All others deserve to disappear! Let us make this world ours!
[Racism]
Beings with a certain level of Politics will oppose one another to the extreme, pursuing the direction of becoming the mainstream of the world with utmost zeal while extremely rejecting other races. This will be resolved if any one tribe’s Politics score surpasses all other races, or if harmony between races is achieved.
Success Bonus: Depending on the direction in which conflict is resolved, one System-related trait will be obtained.
Hmm?
Biin continued examining the disasters he had received, deep in thought.
“Huh???”
“Is something wrong?”
“Aren’t these way too easy?”
“For an ordinary civilization, these would be extremely troublesome disasters. But you seem to have luck on your side again. Sometimes blessings come in pairs like this.”
I see. Then let’s look at the two additional disasters together.
Racism would further trigger factional conflict and rivalry between legion commanders, creating intense battles while accelerating the evolutionary direction of “social animals” that did not yet directly exist in his ecosystem. That one was easy.
“As for Evil. Since I was a perfectly decent person in my past life who never committed a single crime, I probably wouldn’t have been very good at dealing with criminals in civilized society.”
“…Pardon?”
However, nature was different. Honestly, talking about “evil hearts” in nature was completely meaningless. Animals did things that were truly insane…
“Shall we start by comfortably encouraging sexual crimes? We can begin by evolving strategies such as bedbug-type jellies that insert their genitals into anyone and ejaculate, insects that mate with pupae in the middle of metamorphosis and force them to emerge while pregnant, and cuckoo gamchi that lay eggs in other birds’ nests, push the original owner’s eggs out to smash them, and get fed by the foster parents.”
“You are not human.”
But he was not the Demon King or the Lord of Mass Extinction for nothing. This was the greatness of “nature.”
If the theme of the previous disaster section had been parthenogenesis, this time the theme was crime. He would research the crimes and methods that occurred in nature, encourage them even more powerfully, and create the most vicious evil species imaginable.
“You really are not human.”
