Aunt Min-jung Visits My Room Late at Night and Asks Me to Trim Her Pubic Hair
"Yeah, you did the right thing telling Ajumma. I get that you're worried about her, Tae-yang, but I don't think this is the time for that anymore."
A meeting was underway in the bunker's main control room. At Park A-young's urging, Geum Tae-yang was filling Kim Min-jung in on the clash with the commercial building tenants that had broken out in front of the bunker a few hours earlier. Contrary to his worries, Kim Min-jung took the news with remarkable composure.
Especially at times like this, I can't let the kids see me fretting… I need to show them calm, rational thinking…
Wise and quick on the feedback, Kim Min-jung was keenly aware of how things had played out before. Before the apocalypse, her maternal fretting would have been nothing but a good influence on Geum Tae-yang and Park A-young — but in their current situation, it risked creating unnecessary friction. She had already lived through that enough times to know better, which was why her reaction now was so different from before.
"Haha! A-young was right after all, Ajumma! Blood really is thicker than water, huh?"
"What kind of dumbass line is that?"
Geum Tae-yang looked relieved. Park A-young just stared at him like she couldn't believe the "real daughter" crack had actually come out of his mouth.
"So from your perspective, Tae-yang, it looked like Do Min-chul put them up to it? That tenant group?"
Park A-young brought the meeting around to its real purpose. While finishing the electric trap installation, she had asked Geum Tae-yang whether anything had seemed off while he was dealing with the tenants. He had told her there seemed to be someone behind them — and that when he pressed Gang Chun-jae about it, the man's mouth had simply locked shut. Putting all the circumstances together, he had concluded that Do Min-chul was almost certainly involved in today's incident. Hearing that much, Park A-young had decided something of that scale needed to be reported to Kim Min-jung.
"The way Gang Chun-jae's mouth just sealed up out of nowhere — that didn't look like acting at all. So the only real explanation is that some Awakened slapped a debuff on him."
"Then it's Do Min-chul, right? That bastard's ability is mind control. And he's been stalking this place the whole time, so he'd know exactly how things stand on our end."
Geum Tae-yang laid out his reasoning for linking today's incident to Do Min-chul for both Kim Min-jung and Park A-young.
"From what you said earlier, it sounded like Do Min-chul only made contact with Gang Chun-jae, more or less? Most of the others had no idea there was anyone behind them?"
Park A-young's questions kept coming one after another. She had already heard the rough version from Geum Tae-yang beforehand — her real purpose was to lay the groundwork so her mother, Kim Min-jung, could follow along easily.
"Right. And whoever was behind it never told the tenant group anything about me. Honestly, it felt like they just egged them on to rattle me and sent them over."
"Which makes me wonder if someone was watching me from somewhere today."
"If those guys who were spying on me last time were Do Min-chul's people, it's more than possible."
The day after clashing with the strangers who had been tailing him, Geum Tae-yang had told Park A-young and Kim Min-jung about it. That earlier groundwork was what had made it possible to get A-young into a combat suit today.
"In that case, Tae-yang — doesn't that mean Do Min-chul's mind control is an ability that has a hard time working on you directly?"
"The way I see it, the other side is going about this in a way that seems far more complicated than it needs to be."
"And the fact that they only put a gag-level restriction on Mr. Gang Chun-jae… maybe that was all they could manage with him. Anything more just wasn't possible."
Having heard the full explanation, Kim Min-jung offered her own take. Her eyes were bright and alert, her tone and posture serious and fully engaged.
Damn… Ajumma is fired up. She's so reliable and adorable like this…
Watching her from the side, Geum Tae-yang's eyes practically dripped with affection.
Looks like doing what A-young said was the smart call after all. When you think about it, this kind of thing feeds right into Ajumma's Happiness, doesn't it?
He found himself reflecting again. Until now, he had been thinking of Kim Min-jung's happiness far too narrowly. Giving her incredible sex and pampering her wasn't the only way to take care of her. Making sure she got to live as a full, confident member of the community — not some leftover middle-aged woman on the sidelines — that was what truly mattered for her.
"…"
Park A-young watched in silence from the corner of her eye — her mother pouring out her thoughts with real energy, and Geum Tae-yang gazing at her like honey was dripping from his eyes.
"I agree with Mom. Do Min-chul's obsessive, sure, but he's not that patient. The way he's moving right now, even from his side, it's because he has no other choice. Which means his mind control is probably a skill with a lot of restrictions."
Park A-young sat in the main control room's computer chair with her arms crossed and one leg over the other, backing her mother Kim Min-jung's assessment.
"Right? Even our little girl thinks Mom makes sense, doesn't she? Hohoho!"
Geum Tae-yang looked like he agreed too, and her daughter Park A-young had outright said so. The milf Kim Min-jung, starved for that kind of validation, lit up completely. For her, this was pure happiness. In the apocalypse more than anywhere, she had wanted to be someone useful to Geum Tae-yang and Park A-young — not some leftover auntie. Feeling that wish come true, a bright laugh rose from her on its own.
Hmm… A-young usually just gives Ajumma short answers, and she never treated her the way Park Do-chul did, but… I don't think I've ever seen her respond this positively and actively. She's really changed, hasn't she?
Even to Geum Tae-yang's eyes, Kim Min-jung was clearly overjoyed. That made the way Park A-young was acting now especially unfamiliar to him. The template for conversations between A-young and Min-jung, as he knew them, was the old one — A-young envying Na Yu-jin's waist, and Min-jung gently scolding her with a pained voice. He could feel how thoroughly things inside the bunker were shifting.
Special Quest Activated
Clear the mission together with Supporter Kim Min-jung.
A special quest had activated once again.
"Well, Mom's taller than me and her figure's more impressive, but even accounting for that, the size should fit fine. The suit's elasticity is that good."
Kim Min-jung and Park A-young had come down to the underground storage. After the first combat suit, they had found two more — and one of them was about to be fitted on Kim Min-jung. The mission Geum Tae-yang had just been handed was not only one he would undertake with Min-jung, but an external one.
"Aigoo… Mom's just big-boned and chubby… The real figure belongs to my little girl…"
Rather than engaging with the suit talk, Mama Kim Min-jung was more occupied with the self-deprecation coming from her daughter, and the pang it gave her. Stuck right up against A-young's back, she murmured it under her breath with the eyes of a rain-soaked puppy.
"…"
Park A-young looked at her without a word.
"What…?"
Kim Min-jung tilted her head, wondering what that look meant.
"You need to take your clothes off, Mom. How else are you supposed to try it on?"
A-young's answer was pure cool.
"Right! Of course — then Mom will strip right now?"
Rustle, rustle, rustle, rustle—
Kim Min-jung immediately started peeling off her new-town missy outfit.
"How is it? From where I'm standing it looks like a good fit — does it feel solid to you too, Mom?"
Kim Min-jung had the combat suit on. Park A-young stood with her arms crossed, eyeing various points of her mother's suited body as she asked.
"Mm… the underwear really is uncomfortable, just like you said, A-young…"
Slide, shift, slide—
The zipper over Kim Min-jung's chest was still open. Her bra wouldn't stay properly in place, and she was working hard to adjust it.
"Yeah, that tracks. The suit has body-contouring functions — once those kick in, anything you wear underneath just feels wrong."
"That's why the female operators either go without underwear entirely or wear dedicated sports undergarments."
Park A-young had once shown up in front of Geum Tae-yang in a combat suit with nothing underneath — and there had been a perfectly good reason. Wearing the suit bare was simply more comfortable from a functional standpoint. But since she was the kind of woman who lived to mess with Tae-yang, rational reasons had never mattered much. That was why she had yanked the chest zipper down with zero preamble.
"We already threw out all the sports underwear last time…"
Flop, flop—
Kim Min-jung peeled the combat suit back off so she could remove her bra and panties.
"Then I'll just take everything off and put it on, A-young. But if I take the panties off too, this…"
She seemed to have just pictured what would happen once the panties came off. Even so, she couldn't quite put it into words right away, and hesitated a little.
"Yeah. Your pubes are gonna get in the way."
Her daughter Park A-young said it for her, no filter at all. With pubic hair, the fit would be poor, and there was a real chance of it getting pinched during use.
Hmm…
After the meeting, Geum Tae-yang was doing what he always did before bed — surveying the online situation. Lately he had mostly been clicking his tongue at one absurd post after another, but today his expression was genuinely interested.
Shelters are starting to pop up…
After the zombie outbreak, after the collapse of public authority and the accelerating chaos, the apocalypse had finally entered its full-blown phase. The clearest symptom of that was the formation of survival camps — shelters. Across the communities Geum Tae-yang frequented, ads had started going up: people building shelters and looking for others to join them.
The existence of Awakened was being mentioned openly now, and tacitly acknowledged. A defining feature of the current shelters was that most of the places rising into that role had grown out of evacuation centers where people had already been gathered long enough to form something real.
Hmm… It'd be nice if they all helped each other, but realistically that's not happening. Eventually there's going to be shelter wars over the prime spots — no way around it.
At first it had been the lunatics and the trolls who stood out. Now, bit by bit, the real struggle for survival was starting. Geum Tae-yang could empathize with that struggle — and at the same time, given the situation, he knew it was never going to be purely beautiful.
"Tae-yang. It's Ajumma. May I come in…?"
In that moment, the one presence that could only ever approach him as something beautiful — Kim Min-jung's voice — came through from the other side of the door.
"Yes, Ajumma~ Come on in~!"
Tap! Dadadadak—
Geum Tae-yang scrambled out of the site he'd been scouting and answered that lovely voice at once.
"Haha! Getting nervous about going on a mission with me tomorrow?"
"That too… and there's something I wanted to ask of you, Tae-yang…"
When he opened the door, Kim Min-jung came in slowly with both hands folded behind her hips.
Thud—
"A favor? What kind of favor, Ajumma?"
Hearing that she had a request, Geum Tae-yang sat on the edge of the bed and answered.
"Well, you see…"
Hesitate… hesitate… hesitate…
In contrast to Tae-yang's bright tone, Kim Min-jung looked thoroughly shy and embarrassed.
"Haha! Just say it straight, Ajumma! I'll do anything for you! If it's a request from you, anything at all — I'll take care of it!"
Newlywed husband Geum Tae-yang couldn't just leave his bride looking like that. So he laid it on thicker, urging her to tell her husband whatever she wanted without holding back.
"My… hair down there…"
Under that full-court press, the request that came from his lovely bride Kim Min-jung's pretty lips was about hair.
"Huh?"
From the very first words, Geum Tae-yang's eyes went a little round.
"I want you to trim the hair down there for me, Tae-yang…"
And then Kim Min-jung made a request that could only make his eyes go wider still.
