Sena's Frozen Wrath and Clara's First Spanking
I heard the news about Clara and Sena heading to the infirmary a bit too late. There was no reason for her to suddenly visit the infirmary. She wasn't sick enough to go to the medical office, nor did she have a friend admitted there. That left only one possibility.
I burst into the medical building in a hurry. By the time I noticed the entire place shrouded in chill, it was already too late. The hospitalized students and healers were panicking, clueless about the cause. I grabbed a healer who had barely kept their wits and asked about the group of boys and girls who had been carried in after getting beaten to a pulp like critical patients.
When I entered the ward, it was just after everything had ended. Beds lined up on both sides. Students lay on them—or rather, what used to be students, now blackened mummies. They wore patient gowns, their bodies wrapped in bandages and casts here and there.
"What the hell is...?"
Looking closer, they weren't just mummified. Their blood had frozen solid, as if they'd endured thousands of years. Twisted in agony and rigid, it was clear they'd thrashed in vain until death claimed them, unable even to move.
Pushing through the eye fog filling the air, I ventured deeper and spotted a woman standing tall at the far end of the ward.
"Sena."
"You're here?"
Her voice was the same, the usual Sena. Nothing had changed.
"D-did you kill them all?"
"Yeah."
Sena's face was impassive as ever. Instead, on the bed she gazed at, one student was slowly dying. Their face was fully bandaged, expression hidden, but they'd writhed in pain until their whole body snapped. Blood stained the bandages around the face, frozen solid. Checking the wrists and ankles, I wondered if there'd ever been a kid this emaciated. Not just bones showing—no flesh at all. And it had discolored to a sickly brown.
"Leave it, and it'll die on its own."
"You did this?"
"Yeah."
Sena didn't hide her actions. I'd half-expected something like this—Sena coming for revenge. But not this agonizing death.
"There was no need to go this far..."
"Lee Hyun."
Sena turned to me. We'd grown close lately, bodies intertwined in various ways, but she was still the witch everyone feared. That icy expression made it impossible to criticize her.
"I've always retaliated against magicians who challenge me like this. This time was no different."
"Understood."
"...You think I'd spare trash like this? When I cherish and love you more?"
I quietly followed Sena as she left. Right now, she wasn't the Sena I knew—she was the Ice Witch everyone dreaded.
The gruesome fate of those who messed with me spread like wildfire, though I had no idea who started it. The professor faced the infamous Dark Banishment punishment—sealed away for 50 years. As for Ios's faction students who got expelled, Sena saw to it they died agonizing deaths in the infirmary. Their blood frozen throughout their bodies, shivering in the cold for ages before the end.
They kept quiet about the prostitution angle, probably for the victims' sake. No good would come from publicizing it. Instead, the rumor that spread was about me: the expelled ones had ambushed me out of the blue and paid the price. Not bad at all. Thanks to it, students who used to look down on me or act cocky toned it down a lot.
Didn't make us friends, though. If anything, they started fearing me.
"You stirred up quite the storm."
"Not my style, but it worked out."
Darian, who'd brought a fresh bundle of switches, looked at me differently after hearing the rumors.
"Still, you did good. Gave Ios a real hit."
"No leverage to drag her down, so I had to grab any ankle I could."
Officially, I'd thrown down the gauntlet to Ios's faction. A mere servant-turned-instructor punching into her influence over professors? She wouldn't sit still.
"So, what'll they do?"
"Who?"
Darian's question snapped me out of my thoughts. I took the switch bundle from her and inspected the quality.
"There are still survivors, right?"
"Oh, the girls?"
Sena headed straight to the medical building and killed the boys first. If I'd been a bit later, she'd have finished them and moved to the girls' ward. But timing-wise, I showed up right after, miraculously sparing the girls.
So, what to do with them? Once they learn the boys are dead, they'll probably go quiet as mice. Leave 'em be?
"They won't stay quiet."
"As long as they haven't lost their minds, they won't stir trouble again. Why?"
"You think Ios will let it slide? Getting wrecked by a servant they despised—not to mention a thrashing from the vigilant Sena."
She'd probably be raging right now, steam coming out her ears.
"Revenge, then?"
"Likely. What'll you do? Show off your specialty?"
Darian's eyes flicked to the switches. I nodded, glancing at them too.
"Gotta. Soon as they leave the infirmary."
"Something bugging you?"
"Yeah. Ending it with switches feels too tame."
I rubbed my chin, deep in thought.
"Gotta be a better way."
"Instructor!"
I was heading to the Intensive Punishment Room when a big-breasted yellow creature popped out in the hallway. Clara.
"Oh, right. We were supposed to meet last night, but I missed it."
"Hehe, no helping it in that situation."
"Wanna do it now? Isn't class still on?"
"It's alchemy right now, but the alchemy prof had an accident, so it's self-study."
"Got it. Come in."
The Intensive Punishment Room was still half-unpacked. Some stuff sorted, the rest in boxes. Clara eyed the X-shaped restraint curiously.
"What's that?"
"Restraint. Tie the limbs there."
"Then what?"
"Torment 'em. But it's booked, so you can't use it."
The Intensive Punishment Room was for training stubborn troublemakers. Good girls like Clara were barred. We were using it now only because no other space.
"Sit on a chair for now."
Clara looked around. No proper chair in sight, so she eyed me.
"Oh, here."
I patted a wooden box as a makeshift seat. Clara plopped down, breasts jiggling.
"Lemme see. I figured this might happen, so I got your grade sheet from Prof Viola ahead of time."
I rummaged in my bag, pulled out sheets listing grades and behaviors for various students. Found Clara's and read gravely.
"Clara. Combat magic: E. Daily magic: D. Defense magic: E. Summoning magic: E. Attribute magic: F."
Abysmal. Failing grades across the board.
"Isn't this a prestigious magic academy? How'd you get in with these?"
"Hehe, I'm talented in alchemy, not magic."
"Alchemy: A. Astronomy: B. What kinda magician sucks at magic but excels elsewhere?"
I flicked her forehead lightly, then pocketed the sheet.
"Anyway, you wanna grow in magic, right?"
"Yeees~."
"Don't trail off like an idiot. Let's measure first before starting."
I used the portable mana gauge I'd brought to check her baseline.
"Why this?"
"Just personal data collection."
From past punishments, I'd compared pre- and post-mana levels—definite growth. Kept it secret from students, but sharp ones might notice something off.
Issue is, do I really need to boost troublemakers too?
That's what bugged me. Bullies using their strength to torment the weak—why empower them? No dramatic jumps from one session, but even temporary boosts felt wasteful.
Can't punish good kids like Clara without reason either.
Any way to punish troublemakers without growth?
"So, what now?"
"Over there. There's a magic doll I set aside."
A wooden doll stood alone against the wall, staff in hand, staring blankly.
"Show me basic spells first. Try this one."
I pointed to a spell in her combat magic textbook. She'd learned it, but she read the instructions carefully before casting.
Pffft.
Just like in class, a pathetic puff escaped.
I stared at her staff, then met her eyes.
"He, hehe."
"What're you laughing at? Ten spanks accrued."
"T-ten!?"
"Happens quick. Next spell."
Pffft.
"This one?"
Pfft.
"How 'bout this?"
Bang!
"Whoa, it worked!"
"Wrong spell! Why fire when I say no and the wrong one when I do?"
Not full force to bruise, but it'd sting.
Clara's baseline mana is low. Spell control's amateurish.
No talent for magic, period. I'd tell her to try something else, but if she's eager, who am I to crush that? Help as much as I can.
"Take off your skirt first."
"Eek... Knew it. ...Huh? Skirt?"
"Yeah, skirt. Problem?"
Girls usually blush. But this dummy grinned and stripped it off. No shame, flashing panties to a guy like me.
"Ahem. You strip easy. Others freak out."
"Not like it wears out from looking."
"Dumb or clueless? You like this with other guys?"
Clara tilted her head thoughtfully.
"Never been told to strip before?"
"Who'd say that? Ever get weird requests?"
"Yeah. Someone asked to touch my boobs."
"Guy?"
"Yep."
I flicked her hard.
"Don't humor that crap. Did he grope?"
"Yeah. Said he wanted to, so five guys crowded and squeezed 'em."
"Beyond dumb—zero social skills."
"Hehe."
What to do with this idiot? Fine so far, but Ios's goons could exploit her into prostitution, and she'd probably oblige cluelessly.
"No more granting requests like that. Now, panties off."
"Okaay."
For education, sure—but I just said no weird requests, and she obeys instantly. Headache.
She dropped her panties without hesitation, baring her hips. Wide hips. Big breasts and hips, slim waist. Grinning like a friendly fool, she looked like the ditz who forgets pants for school.
"Ten first, then we start."
