Part 1. Afterword.
Part 1. Afterword.

Hello~ This is Pereru.
I drew myself in MS Paint—does it look okay? lol
It's already been five months since I started posting this...
I had something I was writing before Why Am I the Princess..., a piece I first started and finished seven years ago.
While I was adding to it, various things happened, and I couldn't write anymore.
I'm extremely mentally fragile.
So for a while I stopped posting fiction and went back to writing alone at full speed, the way I used to.
With a mindset of "Let's cram in all these random things!" lol
Then Why Am I the Princess... was what I started posting, partly to show people what I was working on.
Maybe that's why... it isn't a piece I'm intensely attached to.
I thought about it a lot: should I just quit and go back to what I was doing before? lol
Why Am I the Princess... is a piece I'm just sprinting through with the setting that's in my head, lol, without a setting bible,
so while writing I'll go, "Huh? Wait, did I mention this before...?" and then I trust my memory and press F3 to search, lol.
For example, if I search "Theo, Tae-oh," there'd be tons of errors, right?
And a bunch of people whose names are missing... lol
Thanks to that, some things got simplified, and I think it's actually easier to read in places.
And there's another reason I wasn't attached to Why Am I the Princess....
I've got 16 novels I've written as a hobby and finished over seven years, and it looked overwhelming just to post those.
So maybe because of that...
If readers hadn't liked it this much, I was planning to drop Why Am I the Princess... right away.
Of course! Not anymore!
Right now, I do have some extra material on hand. *Not stockpiled finished chapters.
Meaning, I've written about 40 chapters' worth of raw material that hasn't gone through editing yet.
I've decided to see it through to completion!
Hmm... I saw a lot of people were disappointed about Plus and Noble...
For instance.

@There's no route, right? This sucks
Uhh... you're not talking about a text rip... right?
I'll believe it's because you love Why Am I the Princess... so very much.
Otherwise, it kind of—lol—really hurts, lol.
Maybe it's because I've spent five months worrying and writing without earning a single 10-won coin,
or maybe it's because I started writing this for my own satisfaction, as something relaxing to write... but I feel like my sense of responsibility has completely vanished.
I always felt like I might go on indefinite hiatus at any moment, so I thought I needed motivation, and that's when I set my mind on Plus and Noble.
Still, with the thought of "Let's at least show everyone the end of Part 1!" I put it off and put it off again.
First, I want to apologize to the readers who are disappointed about the paid transition.
There were a few fun questions that stuck with me!
-Isn't the protagonist's personality way too similar to the one in your previous work?
Why Am I the Princess... is a piece I started for healing, lol, with the thought, "What if the protagonist of my previous work had been a child... how would they have acted?"
You spotted it exactly. I set the personality to be identical to the previous work, lol.
If that's the case, those of you who know, you know: what happens when the protagonist gets excited, heh.
-Ji-hoon, please raise some shrimp.
I'll try to work that in later somehow, even if it's just a mention, lol.
-Stop fighting with Ji-hoon and just xx already!
Huh! What?! Hmm... if Si-yoon were to take an interest in that sort of thing... that could... never happen. What are you talking about? lol.
-I hope it doesn't turn into noir.
Even if some elements appear, it won't turn into that. This is a piece where everyday life is the absolute foundation!
That said, if I stuck in a side story like a zombie movie, I think public opinion would plummet, so I won't do that, lol.
There are more questions that stuck with me, but most of them connect to spoilers!
*Thank you for reading and enjoying! I'll return with a more developed Part 2!
