A New World... But It’s Missing One Letter
The moment I stepped through that flimsy door, everything changed. Just before entering, the bar had been flooded with blinding lights, as if refusing to allow even a single shadow to exist. But the place we walked into now was completely different. The only illumination came from a few flickering bulbs, each one blinking so weakly it made me wonder if they even qualified as lights at all.
It was the middle of summer, when air conditioning usually ran nonstop. The bar should have been filled with that crisp, cold air that made you forget the heat. Instead, what greeted us was thick, humid air that clung to the skin like something wet and slimy. If a blind person had been asked, they probably would’ve sworn this was the outside.
And then there was the stench. An overwhelmingly pungent, animal-like odor so strong that my nose simply gave up on its job after a single breath.
[It's amazing they hold their regular meetings in a place like this.]
“But it’s the perfect shithole for these disgusting bastards,” I muttered.
One building. A single thin door between two completely opposite worlds. And now we were stepping into yet another one.
Right then, a man’s voice called out from behind us.
“Have a great time! And save some for me!”
With a click, the only exit slammed shut.
Well, we’d already dipped our toes in. The only option left was to keep moving forward. We slowly began walking deeper inside.
Under the dim lighting, I saw people sitting two-by-two at each table. Two common traits stood out. First, they’d all taken off their mascot costumes and were wearing light clothing. Wearing those heavy suits in this heat must have been unbearable. Even we were dying just walking around in them.
The second trait? They were all men.
A large crowd. Wide range of ages. Various appearances. Some were academy students, many were outsiders. But not a single woman among them.
[The final destination of those ruled by their dicks.]
“Dick is life’s true companion, after all.”
Anyway, our destination was the VIP room. This area seemed to be for regular members, so we kept walking forward. Or at least, we were supposed to.
Curiosity got the better of me when I overheard a conversation at the table right next to us. I should have run away before that curiosity killed me. Looking back, eavesdropping was actual insanity.
Because—
“Hey, do you know what pigeons and squirrels have in common?”
“What?”
These fucking zoophile bastards.
“They both die if you fuck them.”
“For real?”
“Yeah, I tried it. They died.”
“That’s some killer technique, man.”
The two men cackled as they downed their drinks.
[Fuck.]
Fuck.
The deranged conversation had short-circuited my brain. That’s why we stopped for a moment. We really shouldn’t have stopped.
And because of that, we paid the price for freezing in place.
If we had kept moving, we wouldn’t have heard the next conversation. But now it reached our ears loud and clear.
This time it was two academy students sitting a bit farther away.
“That Nekopara game you recommended? It’s complete garbage!”
“You can just install the mod that turns them into actual cats. What’s the problem?”
One of the students slammed his fist on the table and screamed at the top of his lungs.
“Games are supposed to fulfill fantasies! You can fuck cats in real life anytime you want!”
“Sorry, I didn’t think of that.”
When the other student apologized sincerely, the angry one calmed down and accepted the apology.
It was a heartwarming scene of reconciliation.
If only the previous conversation hadn’t happened.
[Make Caersi kill those bastards.]
“I’ll tell her to use Grim Burst.”
They say once you get used to English, you start hearing it clearly. Unfortunately, that same rule was applying to us right now. After hearing two rounds of this garbage, my ears had adapted against my will. Now they were picking up conversations from even farther tables.
The distance was far, but there was no problem hearing them. Their voices were quite loud. And above all—
The sight of a desperately struggling hamster in the grip of an obese man had caught my eye.
“What’s that condom next to the hamster for?”
“Wait, you’ve never fucked a hamster before?”
The obese man looked at the guy across from him with clear contempt. The other man answered calmly.
“Never with a condom, no.”
“Honestly, this is my first time using one too.”
The obese man gave an awkward smile and scratched his head with his free hand. The other guy patted his shoulder as if to say, “Good luck, bro.”
In their own way, it was probably a display of manly friendship.
[What the hell did we do to deserve this suffering?]
“We got screwed over by some shitty author.”
Everything was genuinely fucked. But I couldn’t just flip this place upside down. It would feel good for a moment, but our real target was the ringleader.
In the end, I pulled myself together and forced my legs to move, choosing to escape this madhouse.
What felt like an eternity was actually only a short time. Finally, we reached the hallway leading to the VIP room.
The moment we confirmed no one was listening nearby, the heroines began spitting out curses one after another. It was basically impossible to stay silent after what we’d just witnessed.
And that’s how we returned to the beginning of chapter 196.
This really was a new world. A very fucked-up new world.
[You said new world, but it’s clearly a retard world.]
“Is this that dicktopia or whatever?”
Anyway, our target location wasn’t far now. Time to start walking again.
As we moved through the hallway, I began explaining the plan to everyone.
First, to Caersi and Ayeon.
“I’ll go in first and launch a preemptive strike. In that opening, Caersi and Ayeon, secure the president’s son. If there’s room, help me fight too.”
“I don’t know what that bastard looks like, nya.”
“Just find the fattest fucker and beat the shit out of him.”
“Got it, nya.”
“Understood. Please be careful, my dear.”
Next were Hye-ji and Elsia.
“Elsia, use your abilities to block this place off. Hye-ji, you beat up anyone who breaks through Elsia’s vines.”
“Shin-woo, can’t I just go in and kill them all?”
“Yeah! These bastards deserve to all die!”
Surprisingly, Hye-ji had offered the correct answer. But I had to reject it.
“It’s better to secure key personnel alive.”
“Then the guys out here aren’t important, so it’s fine to kill them, right?”
“...Try to keep them alive if you can.”
“I might accidentally kill someone too!”
It seemed both Hye-ji and Elsia were extremely pissed off. Which was understandable. Even I wanted to slaughter them all.
By the time we finished discussing the plan, we had already arrived in front of the VIP room. Without needing to be told, we quickly started stripping off the animal mascot costumes. Walking around in those things in this heat had been exhausting. We were drenched in sweat, looking like we’d just been pulled out of a lake.
The moment I thought about drying off a little—
“Everyone, attention! The president has something to say!”
“Thank you, vice president.”
Voices could be heard from beyond the VIP room door. The ones speaking were probably the president’s son and the president of the zoophile club. Luckily, our target was inside.
“Everyone! Look over here! The pony that was sleeping on the back mountain yesterday has come to share love with us!”
“A round of applause for the president who introduced us to such a precious companion!”
Sudden cheers erupted. But I clearly heard it. Beneath their noisy voices, the faint sound of neighing. The kidnapped black horse was definitely in there.
And the following conversation only confirmed my judgment.
“Wait a second! Isn’t that a male?”
“As long as it feels good, who cares? Are you scared?”
“I’m excited! Can I go first?”
“Still, I’d like to be the one to break his virgin membrane. Is that okay?”
“Understood! Let’s start by giving him some medicine!”
[Fucking hell, seriously, until the very end.]
“Mommy.”
Anyway, I had confirmed the target we needed to rescue was inside. There was clearly no time to leisurely dry off our sweat. The only thing left to do was begin the operation immediately.
I double-checked that the body cam was properly attached. I was sweating so much I worried it might not work, but I left it on just in case. After securing the body cam once more—
“Hye-ji, give me a machine gun.”
“What kind?”
“Something I can use with one hand and that has sustained fire.”
“I’ll give you a minigun. It counts as a machine gun too.”
I asked Hye-ji to manifest a gun for me. While she quietly created the minigun, I knocked on the VIP room door to announce our presence.
“Who is it?”
The sudden visitor caused the VIP room to fall silent in an instant. I could feel explosive wariness radiating from beyond the door. But there was no need to panic. I knew the password to open it.
“Master. Let’s do that thing again today. Woof woof.”
“Ah! It’s the Supernova I mentioned! Come in, hurry!”
The wariness vanished instantly, replaced by excited murmuring. It seemed they had also been hoping to meet the “Supernova” the president’s son had mentioned.
“I’ll open it right away!”
I heard the president’s son grabbing the doorknob. At that exact moment, Hye-ji handed me the minigun. The second I took it, I placed my finger on the trigger.
It was pretty heavy, but light enough to swing around with one hand. I gripped the minigun in one hand, immediately took a iaido stance, and began regulating my breathing.
I was preparing for Total Concentration Breathing. I had considered using Beast Breathing since I was wearing a boar costume, but I quickly abandoned that idea. The opponent was a zoophile, after all. The compatibility with Beast Breathing was terrible.
That’s why I needed a different breathing style right now.
One derived from Sun Breathing.
The strongest breathing technique in history, whose destructive power had been maximized in the modern era.
Right on cue, the door burst open.
The president’s son filled the doorway with his massive body. A huge smile spread across his face as he began to speak joyfully, but—
“Welcome! I’ve been waiti—”
The sentence never finished.
He had frozen mid-sentence upon seeing me suddenly taking an iaido stance with a minigun.
“...What the hell?”
The president’s son’s gaze moved. From my whole body to my face. And finally, as he recognized me, his expression slowly filled with horror.
“You! You’re—!”
Before he could scream, I shoved him hard with my right shoulder. His massive body, pushed without resistance, began a short fall toward the ground according to the laws of gravity.
At the same time, as his body was cleared from the doorway, the scene inside came into full view.
A horse with its entire body dyed pink and bound in ropes.
Half-naked people.
White powder scattered everywhere and syringes lying around.
Guilty as charged.
[Go!!!]
“Tanjiro!!! Lend me your strength!!!”
I pulled the trigger with my right index finger and unleashed iaido with the minigun.
The strongest Total Concentration Breathing activated by it.
Breath of Gunpowder (火藥の呼吸) First Form
At that exact moment, the president’s son’s body hit the ground with a loud thud. Along with that sound, an intense gunshot rang out. And following the path the machine gun swept, a wave of bullets began to surge forward.
It was like a sea made of the Demon God’s tiny blades covering the entire world.
It also had another name.
Sea-Covering Demon God Sword (海庇魔神劍)
