Product Registration
Product Registration
'Product Registration?'
What is Product Registration?
Thinking this, I entered Modern Item Purchase and pressed the [Product Registration] that had just appeared.
When I pressed [Product Registration], a square window appeared, similar to the one for Product Repair, where I could insert something.
'Do I put items in here?'
If I were to put an item in, what kind of item would it be?
'Since it's Product Registration, should I put in something that could become a product?'
After staring at the square Product Registration window for a moment, I opened my inventory and took out a Skill Orb.
It was the Infinite Ammo LV10 Orb that the Assault Captain had infused for me today; I took it out and inserted it into the Product Registration window.
[Item inserted.]
[Measuring the value of the item.]
'It actually works?'
Surprisingly, the orb, which was the 3-Channel ability itself, went in as if it were natural.
I waited a moment for the message about measuring its value, and soon it gave me the results.
[Item registered to Modern Item Purchase.]
[Item Name: Skill Orb (Infinite Ammo LV10).]
[Item Price: 10,000 points.]
'It's registered in Modern Item Purchase?'
Upon seeing the message, I immediately entered Modern Item Purchase to check.
-Skill Orb (Infinite Ammo LV10): 10,000 points
"......."
Seeing the item list, I moved my finger as if possessed and purchased it.
[Purchased item will automatically be placed in the Gallery Storage.]
[10,000 points deducted.]
After purchasing, I checked my inventory and saw that the Skill Orb had arrived.
'This...'
Having learned something definitive about the Product Purchase ability, I realized it was an even greater ability than I had thought.
'It means I can purchase registered items limitlessly as long as I pay the points, right?'
I actually purchased a few more of the registered Skill Orbs, and several of the same orbs piled up.
"This is insane."
I had only checked the Skill Orb for now, but there was a high possibility it would work for other items too.
In that case, the value of this Product Registration could be said to be immense.
'What if I registered weapons from the 4-Channel, Mana Potions from the 5-Channel, or the Heart of Laistal or Water Demons from the 7-Channel?'
The combat power of myself or the Hero Party would increase dramatically.
Not only that, but supporting other channels might also become much easier.
"Yes? Mr. Survivor. What do you mean 'insane'?"
Just then, Elisicia (Hero☆) asked immediately, as if she had heard me.
At the same time, she looked toward Sirien, who was tearing into some galbi-jjim, seemingly thinking I had said it to her.
"Ah, no. I meant the ability I just obtained is insane."
"You obtained another ability?"
"My Modern Item Purchase level went up."
Elisicia (Hero☆) also knew that new functions were added whenever my Modern Item Purchase level increased.
"Really? What kind of ability is it?"
"It's an ability called Product Registration; it allows me to keep purchasing registered products."
"Keep purchasing registered products?"
I explained it to Elisicia (Hero☆), who didn't quite understand, with a simple example.
"For example, if I register the Heart of Laistal, I can keep purchasing it."
"Ah!"
At that, everyone in the Hero Party, including Elisicia (Hero☆), looked surprised.
In short, it was an ability that allowed me to obtain anything, even things not originally in Modern Item Purchase, so it was natural for them to be surprised.
"Then you could keep purchasing Tipina-ssi's Skill Orb if you register it, too."
"Yes. That's right."
"As you said, Mr. Survivor, it really is an incredible ability."
"It costs points, though... but it shouldn't matter."
Considering the speed at which I was earning points, it didn't seem like it would be a big problem.
What bothered me more was that once an item was registered, it couldn't be retrieved.
'Once registered, that's it.'
To get it back, I have to purchase the item.
If you look at it simply, there might be no problem, but for certain items, it was a different story.
'If the price of an item I put into Product Registration is, say, 100 million points...'
That item would be hard to obtain for quite a while.
'Ah. Let me experiment with my Taehwa 9-Style first.'
My Telekinesis is currently level 30, allowing me to create 8 hands.
Compared to that, I only have 4 Taehwa 9-Style blades, so I wanted to have 4 more if possible.
'Or maybe combining the Taehwa 9-Style with the Explosive Crusher would be good too.'
Now that I could use Infinite Ammo, using the Explosive Crusher wasn't a problem either.
Furthermore, considering that others could use the Skill Orbs, there was no need to obsess over the labyrinth anymore.
'Couldn't I really just go up to the surface and wipe out the monsters like this?'
Thinking that, I took out the Taehwa 9-Style, made it pristine with [Product Repair], and then did [Product Registration].
[Item registered to Modern Item Purchase.]
[Item Name: Taehwa 9-Style.]
[Item Price: 450,000 points.]
'...It is expensive.'
If the Taehwa 9-Style is this much, I probably wouldn't even be able to dream of something like a Nano Suit.
'A Nano Suit would probably be in the millions or tens of millions.'
Also, looking at the price of the Taehwa 9-Style, it seemed like it would be cheaper to ask the 4-Channel than to purchase it like this.
'No, maybe it's better to get a different weapon than the Taehwa 9-Style.'
Now I could use Infinite Ammo relatively freely.
Considering that, it might be better to receive a different weapon than the Taehwa 9-Style.
'I'll have to ask Mr. Know-It-All later.'
Anyway, one Taehwa 9-Style had disappeared due to registration, so I purchased it to refill it.
[Purchased item will automatically be placed in the Gallery Storage.]
[450,000 points deducted.]
'...My heart aches.'
My current points were over 4 million, but seeing 450,000 disappear still made my heart ache for some reason.
"Survivor. Why don't you register magic items with Product Registration?"
"Magic items?"
As soon as I purchased the Taehwa 9-Style, Rubyel (Crimson Tower Master) brought up the topic of magic items.
"Like the Stealth Cloak that Eli gave you. There are probably magic items that people are keeping secretly, right?"
"Ah. That's a good idea too."
"Right? If there are good magic items in the Gallery, you can just ask them to show them to you for a moment."
Rubyel (Crimson Tower Master) seems to think that if I just ask to see them for a moment, everyone will show them to me.
Regardless of that, considering the effect of the Stealth Cloak, I was a little excited about the magic items in the 2-Channel.
'But I can't just ask to see them like Rubyel (Crimson Tower Master) said.'
It seemed like offering some kind of reward would result in higher participation.
'Should I post an announcement in the 2-Channel tomorrow?'
And I felt I should move in the direction of obtaining one good ability, weapon, item, elixir, etc., from each channel.
'I'll be busy starting tomorrow.'
As soon as the next day arrived, I posted an announcement in the 2-Channel.
[Please lend me rare magic items for just 5 minutes.]
After writing an announcement with roughly this title, I said I would give 1,000 points as a reward to anyone who lent me one.
1,000 points was a relatively large amount, and since it was received in exchange for lending, it was practically earning points for free.
Ding! Ding!
Perhaps because of that, the response was good.
Everyone was eagerly requesting 1:1 trades.
"Rubyel-ssi. How is this magic item?"
"It's a Detox Ring. It's a ring that neutralizes poison that has entered the body."
"Then it's worth registering."
"What are you talking about? If it's poison, Aila (Saintess) can detoxify it."
However, I couldn't put every magic item into Product Registration.
Because the moment I put it into Product Registration, I had to return it, which meant I had to purchase it one more time.
'On top of that, I have to give the 1,000 points I promised as a reward.'
So I was in the middle of selecting only the useful magic items.
"What about this magic item?"
"It's an item that amplifies sound."
Although most of them weren't as outstanding as the Stealth Cloak.
"How about this?"
But fortunately, useful magic items popped up one by one.
"Oh? This is a Ring of Youth, isn't it?"
"A Ring of Youth?"
"Yeah. If you wear this, you age less. It seems to actually extend your lifespan by about 10 to 20 years."
"So it doesn't mean living young forever."
"If that were possible, it would have already gone beyond the category of magic items."
Rubyel (Crimson Tower Master) said that even just this much made it a decent magic item.
It certainly seemed like a decent magic item to me too, so I immediately did Product Registration.
[Item Name: Ring of Youth.]
[Item Price: 25,000 points.]
Looking at the name and price, it certainly seemed like it would have an effect.
Continuing to check magic items, I was finally able to find a decent one.
"Survivor! Register this! Quickly!"
"This shield?"
It was a silver shield large enough to cover my upper body.
It was a shield that looked like an ornament, with golden edges and wing-shaped carvings.
"It's the Shield of the Great Hero Gailan. It's a shield that self-repairs, absorbs all impact, and then releases the absorbed impact."
"Self-repairs?"
"It means it restores itself even if it's dented or broken."
"...Just hearing that, it sounds like it would be incredibly expensive."
"It absorbs all impact, I said! Do you not know what that means?"
Anyway, judging by Rubyel (Crimson Tower Master)'s reaction, it seemed like an insanely good shield.
[Item Name: Shield of the Great Hero Gailan.]
[Item Price: 800,000 points.]
"......."
So I put it into Product Registration, and an absolutely ridiculous price popped out.
'What is this, why is it more expensive than the Taehwa 9-Style?'
Furthermore, since the purchased item had to be returned to the original owner, I had to purchase it once more.
In short, it meant 1.6 million points would fly away, so I decided to stop for a moment due to the excessive point consumption.
"Did you register it? I don't know who it is, but to think they would have the Shield of the Great Hero Gailan."
"But I think I have to stop for a moment because I'm using too many points."
"Points? Ah. Come to think of it, how much is the Shield of the Great Hero Gailan?"
"800,000 points."
Rubyel (Crimson Tower Master) shut her mouth for a moment at the mention of 800,000 points.
But not long after, she replied as if this choice wasn't wrong.
"Still, it's fine. It's a big deal that you can purchase such a magic item with points."
"Yes. Anyway, I'll stop for now and do it again later when I earn more points."
It goes without saying, but I couldn't just purchase 2-Channel magic items.
I also had to purchase 3-Channel abilities, and the Heart of Laistal from the 7-Channel.
'If I have spare points, I should also register Mana Potions and other elixirs.'
Thinking this, I spent 1.6 million points to purchase two Shields of the Great Hero Gailan, and returned one to the original owner.
'The points I have left now are...'
[Points: 2,915,780]
Still, I had some breathing room.
'But spending points happens in an instant.'
I decided to take comfort in the fact that my combat power had increased by as much as I had spent.
Like that, I posted an announcement that I would do it again next time because I was busy, and then registered Tipina's Skill Orb.
[Item Name: Skill Orb (Empty).]
[Item Price: 15,000 points.]
"......?"
Why did the price go up again?
Thinking for a moment, I remembered that I had raised Tipina's Skill Orb to level 30.
It seemed the price was adjusted to level 30, and since this was something I couldn't help, I decided to accept it.
'Does it get even more expensive if I put an ability into this?'
Just until yesterday, I was happy because I was earning a huge amount of points, but now it felt insufficient.
'Let's check this first too.'
I contacted the Ice Queen first to infuse an ability into this Skill Orb.
