Patch Notes 10.01
There's no denying it. The 09.30 patch was one long stretch of chaos. Our development team is taking the overreach by users of hypnosis- and brainwashing-class apps extremely seriously. For anyone who hasn't been following along: we uncovered a large number of cases in which users of conditioning-class apps — despite already holding ownership priority — exploited a specific bug in an attempt to force NTR.
Mind Control and Brain Washer, in particular, are built from the mechanism up to specialize in controlling other people, and they produced the greatest number of terms-of-service violations. Accordingly, Moonlight hereby announces that, under our one-out system — our so-called zero-tolerance principle — those who made other users uncomfortable have been permanently banned.
The full list can be confirmed here.
Until now, Slut Maker has been the app beloved by the great majority of Moonlight's users. How could it not be? The delinquent girls and school bullies who hounded you relentlessly from your school days, the trust-fund influencers, the two-faced idols — all of them could be flipped, in a single breath, into thoroughly broken, shameless sluts.
Snaring the bitches who get high and mighty on nothing but social status is always a thrill! The problem was that the SM app performed so outrageously well that it dragged the usage numbers of every other app down by comparison.
Accordingly, a few changes have been implemented in the name of healthy balance. Not a straight functional nerf — merely a modest restriction on versatility. Its performance at turning haughty women into filthy whores remains, of course, perfectly respectable. Anyone who was using it solely for instant conquest, however, will now have to make a rather more exacting decision.
We have recently received reports that certain users are abusing app functions on men through undisclosed methods. Every Moonlight app was developed, at its foundation, for the objectification of women, and we cannot be held responsible for the safety of use on men. Please take note.
We are also fully aware of complaints that a service skewed so heavily toward one sex may offer users a negative experience. For security reasons we cannot disclose, however, we can promise only gradual improvement on this point. We ask for your generous understanding.
A number of you have raised objections to the exclusive use of certain apps, including Heroine Collection. We are also well aware that many of you have been steadily requesting nerfs to the HC app, which appears to be a straight upgrade over the others.
Our entire development team is approaching this matter with great care. As of now, however, we have judged that no special measures are required, and we inform you of that judgment accordingly.
That is all.
