Farewell, My Weapon - 01: [Sacrifice All Weapons]
“Damn it, I did everything!”
Half-naked, Yeonwoo bellowed. It was more a sense of injustice than outright rage. And since he was down to his underwear, it felt all the more desperate.
Sacrifice All Weapons
“I gave you my weapons! All my gear! Even piled up every scrap of clothing and junk—I did it all!”
Sacrifice All Weapons
“Damn it!”
Thud! Yeonwoo kicked the altar. His shoe melted away like wax where it touched, sliding off into nothing.
Insufficient.
“Ha……” Yeonwoo clutched his head.
All around him, hunter corpses were piled like mountains. Stripped nearly bare, not a twitch among them. Bodies he’d dragged over to feed the altar.
“Knew something was fishy.”
Yeonwoo was a grizzled veteran hunter. No prodigy talent, just solid instincts and more grit than most. If only his Stigma had been exceptional, he might’ve gone further.
A hunter’s unique innate ability, the Stigma. Yeonwoo’s was Weapon Expert—mastery over all manner of arms. But in the hunter world, that just marked him as a jack-of-all-trades scrub. Everyone stuck to one weapon that fit their grip anyway.
So when the mega-corp Babel Company came calling with a collaboration offer, he was purely thrilled. Finally, his hard work paid off.
But.
“These crazy bastards were hiding a Gate and hogging it for themselves.”
And right there, an altar. One of the anomalies that spawned in Gates. Fulfill its demands, score insane rewards. Looks like Babel had mass-hired hunters to complete it.
The outcome? Every hired hunter—and Babel itself—wiped out.
“Should’ve at least sealed the Gate before it blew.”
Gate overload was the culprit. Maybe they saw it coming and picked the altar as a last desperate gambit.
Insufficient. Sacrifice All Weapons.
“Gaaaooo!”
“Keeek, shiiik! Shk!”
Thud. Thud. BOOM. Monster roars from the Gate’s backlash grew closer. Time was running out.
Insufficient.
“At least tell me what’s missing and how much!”
Sacrifice All Weapons.
“Take whatever! Anything—just take it!”
Not like he expected a response. Just the futile rage of the last survivor.
Understood.
“Huh? You little……”
It understood? No time for betrayal’s shock.
Flash! Light burst from between Yeonwoo’s legs.
“Wha?”
Panicking, he yanked down his underwear. His last remaining “weapon” was fading into light.
“Wha! Nooo!”
Speechless. Even as he watched, his precious tool turned transparent.
“Wait! This one’s really important to me! Come on……!”
Filling.
“Hold on! This one’s, yeah, used! Pre-owned goods! Not that much use, but solo it’s pretty decent—no, wait! It’s got mileage, so handle with care!”
Fulfilled.
Rumble rumble rumble— The world shook as the altar purred in satisfaction. Crimson mist rose, enveloping Yeonwoo’s now-empty crotch.
“I’m hollow now, you bastard!”
Flash! Light consumed him, and Yeonwoo vanished.
“Ugh!”
Yeonwoo’s eyes snapped open. His body convulsed like a falling man, torso jerking upright.
“My—my thing!”
Instinctively, his hand dove to his crotch. Through the baggy trunk panties, pale white fingers plunged in.
But nothing. No thing where it should be.
Instead, something soft. Something…… plush. Smooth…… ugh.
“Ahh♡.”
A honey-sweet moan escaped. Sultry, alluring.
“A…… woman?”
The feminine voice startled him; Yeonwoo flinched, scanning the room. Familiar cramped apartment. But empty.
“Huh? Me?”
Then it hit: the voice was his.
A heavy foreign weight tugged below his collarbone. His T-shirt hung looser now, but twin mounds strained against it, holding the fabric in place.
“Wha.”
Dazed, Yeonwoo raised his arms. His palms overflowed with softness. Too much to contain.
“Whoa!”
His voice pitched higher, yet still melodic as a songbird. Panicking, he whipped around to the mirror.
A breathtaking beauty he’d never dreamed of groped her own breasts—his breasts.
