Crisis Invasion (4): All Subordinates Reduced to Beasts by Seira
In truth, Sichif’s mind had been completely empty. The moment he laid eyes on Seira, new schemes had simply flooded into his head all at once.
“Heh-heh-heh. How could anyone possibly walk past a woman like this?”
Even more absurd was the fact that the moment his subordinates heard those words, they all snapped to attention, their eyes gleaming with sudden hunger.
“Master, your words are absolutely correct!”
“Heh-heh, I must have lost my mind for a moment.”
With lecherous gazes, they began closing in on Seira and her mother, slowly extending their filthy hands. Puyor stepped forward, desperately trying to shield her young daughter, but it was useless.
“H-Hiik… W-What are you doing?!”
“Out of the way, old hag!”
Thud!!!
Puyor was hurled to the floor. “Kyaaah!!”
Even Puyor, who had been the most sought-after beauty among the middle-aged women of Puran Village, became utterly insignificant beside Seira. Any other girl’s charm simply vanished in her presence.
Soon, Sichif fixed Seira with burning eyes and spoke.
“This is all your fault! Yours! You’re just too damn beautiful… Heh-heh-heh-heh. So from now on, you’re going to pay a very steep price to me.”
Seira thrashed on the floor, desperately trying to crawl away from him.
“N-No… I-I’ve never been with a man before?! Hiik!!”
Sichif and his men tilted their heads in brief confusion, then dismissed it with leering smiles.
“Kuh-heh-heh. This room is sealed, and my men are all upstairs. Where exactly do you think you can run?”
Seira’s eyes darted around before landing on the hidden staircase that had been revealed by a hidden mechanism.
“Ah, I can escape through here~”
“Huk!?”
The instant Seira scrambled up to flee, Sichif roared.
“You don’t care if your mother dies?!”
Though none of them could see anything but Seira, they knew they had to threaten her somehow. Only then did Puyor’s beauty finally register in their eyes.
“Heh-heh. Like mother, like daughter! This one’s pretty good-looking too.”
One subordinate muttered under his breath.
“No, the difference is like heaven and earth…”
“…Just pretend, damn it! At least act like it!”
One of Sichif’s men was already fumbling with his belt, hand sliding inside as if ready to pounce on Puyor at any moment.
“Ugh, that’s cowardly!!! Mom!!”
“Seira! Just run!”
“You bitch!”
Slap!!!
Sichif struck Puyor across the jaw to keep her from interfering. “Aagh!”
She collapsed unconscious.
Yet the truly ridiculous part was that Seira still tried to escape.
“Thanks, Mom! I’ll pray for your safety!!”
“H-Huh…? That’s not how this was supposed to go.”
But Seira hadn’t realized the door was locked with a key.
“The key… Where’s the key?! Found it!!!!”
Desperate to survive, she snatched the key and lunged for the underground passage door. However, she had overlooked one crucial fact.
“Heh-heh-heh-heh.”
Her appearance stat might have been overwhelmingly high, but every other stat was no different from an ordinary woman’s. In an instant, Sichif was behind her. He pressed against her back, wrapped his arms around her waist, and pulled her into a tight embrace.
Bringing his lips close to her ear, he whispered mockingly.
“You don’t seem to understand. Staying here with us is the gentlemanly option. If you go to the safe house without us, you’ll probably be passed around by hundreds of men. Do you really think you can find a way out?”
Seira burst into tears.
“Uwaaaah—! Uwaaaah!”
Sichif looked flustered. Why was this woman acting like a baby…?
“D-Don’t cry, Seira! You’re not going to die.”
“Huu, huwaaaah—!”
No matter how much he tried to soothe her, it was useless. Her crying showed no sign of stopping. Sichif considered simply knocking her out by striking the back of her neck. After all, she would still be beautiful even unconscious.
Thud—!!!
Thump!
“Heh-heh-heh-heh-heh, Seira… Now then, let’s collect the price for betraying your lord, shall we?”
With trembling hands, Sichif approached the fallen Seira.
“R-Right. First… the socks…”
His heart was pounding so violently he felt he might go mad. To go insane from sheer pleasure—yes, just as one could lose their mind from overwhelming sorrow, one could also lose it from overwhelming desire. He had never felt anything like this before.
As he yanked off Seira’s socks and lifted her ankle to his nose, a sweet fragrance filled his senses. It was as if his nostrils were overflowing with fresh herbs.
“Aah… Just what kind of angel descended from which heaven are you…”
His entire body trembling, his heart on the verge of bursting, his gaze drifted toward Seira’s chest.
“Kuh-kuh-kuh-kuh-kuh-kuh.”
All rational thought vanished from his mind, replaced by nothing but raw physical desire. But that was when the real problem began.
Attracted by Seira’s crying, the subordinates upstairs began coming down. Her wails had been loud enough to reach them—loud enough that some had even covered their ears.
The men who descended were…
“W-What’s going on?!”
“You bastards! I told you never to come down here, didn’t I?!”
They were the loyalists of the Dark Brotherhood, bound by their oath to the Grand Duke. Yet now they had witnessed something they were never meant to see.
“Y-You… You dare betray the Grand Duke…!”
“This is all part of the mission, you idiots… That bastard tried to assault Seira. So I just gave him a little lesson.”
“Then why are you personally untying the ribbons on her dress?”
“Uh, t-this is…”
Sichif had turned Seira over and nearly undone all the ribbon ties of her white dress while talking to his men. His excitement had been so intense that he kept untying them without realizing it. Seira’s physical allure was simply that overwhelming.
‘I’ve crossed a river I can never return from. Heh-heh.’
Sichif now understood that the Grand Duke would never forgive him—unless he silenced every witness first.
He swiftly drew four daggers from his coat and hurled them all at once. Each blade struck true, embedding themselves in the throats of the four subordinates who had come down.
“T-Treason… Kahak…!”
With their dying screams, dozens more subordinates came pouring into the wine cellar.
“M-Master!”
“We’re disappointed.”
“My apologies.”
Yet the reason for their disappointment was absurd.
“You were trying to keep Seira all to yourself?! We can’t forgive that!”
“Uh, then… shall we do it together…?!”
“W-Will you allow that?”
Sichif glanced at Seira for a moment, then looked away.
“No. I want to protect her. She is the only woman in this world I want to claim for myself!!!!”
The fallen woman looked like an angel descended from heaven, even in sleep. The subordinates nodded in understanding.
“I’m sorry, but I’ll be the one to take her.”
“No, I’m the one who will have Seira…!”
One subordinate charged at Sichif, drawing his dagger and unleashing a lightning-fast draw technique. But the man behind him immediately stabbed him in the back.
“Kuh, kuhak?! Why?!”
“Heh-heh, I’ll clean up and take her for myself! Kuhak!!!”
A battle royale had erupted within the Thieves’ Guild!
Amid the joyous festival of blood, Sichif smiled faintly.
‘Heh-heh, how amusing. They’re all thinking the same thing I am.’
Yes. At that moment, Sichif felt strangely comforted.
‘My betrayal is justified!!! No one who sees Seira can possibly stop themselves…’
Slash. Slash!!!
Even as his former comrades—men he had lived and fought alongside only yesterday—fell before his eyes in gruesome death, Sichif laughed madly and joined the slaughter.
He deflected a wrist flying toward him in a curved arc, grabbed it, yanked the man forward, and sliced through his right hand.
“Kuaaaagh!”
The subordinate tried to punch with his left hand. Sichif ducked under the blow and slashed the vein on the man’s wrist with his dagger.
“Uwaaaagh!!!”
Even that would have been fatal, but Sichif finished the job by cleanly cutting his throat as well.
“Kehk! Kek.”
“My apologies. The only mercy I can offer is a quicker death…”
Though Sichif had once cherished his subordinates and been revered as the Night Saint of the Thieves’ Guild, now, with his eyes clouded by a woman, he saw nothing else.
“Heh-heh, do you see this, Seira?! For your sake, I offer my own subordinates as sacrifices!!!”
Before the dying man could even scream, three more subordinates rushed in from both sides.
The reason was simple.
“As expected, the Master is the strongest!!!”
“Let’s take down the Master first, then decide who gets to have Seira!!!”
It was utter madness over a woman. But since Sichif himself was equally mad, he couldn’t blame them.
Clicking his tongue, he ducked lower and grabbed one subordinate’s Achilles tendon. The moment he sliced it, he rolled away to dodge the other three’s blades. Yet in that brief moment, another thirty or so subordinates had descended.
The noise of the brawl had drawn attention. Now, not only the Grand Duke’s loyalists but even ordinary drunken thieves were heading toward the source of the commotion.
‘Damn it! I should have just knocked her out and taken her right away.’
When Seira had begun crying loudly, Sichif had briefly lost himself staring at how beautiful even her tears were. Now he regretted it deeply.
