Faithful Heavens and the Elder's Demise
In the Metalian village of Lumo Rasl, the discovery of metal had sparked monumental changes. Agriculture flourished, and the potential for animal husbandry emerged. From the southern hemisphere sprouted the seeds of a ruler. And then...
"Look over there! The sun moves across the sky, shining down on us!"
"The gods are watching over us!"
"When the sun sets, tiny lights descend upon the blackened sky!"
"Those are the gods' servants! They're keeping an eye on us while the gods rest!"
"Their positions change every time! Look, after that cold season, the tree-shaped servant in the northeast moved south again."
"The gods' servants patrol the heavens in circles!"
"It happens so regularly in the city— we could divide the world's year based on them!"
"Oh! They even tell us when the cold days and hot days are coming! Truly the gods' servants!"
...These crazy cultists were building astronomy on their faith in me. And damn if the principles weren't spot-on—chillingly accurate. Even a deranged religious group of high-IQ elves pulls it off. The elves were advancing rapidly in surprisingly diverse fields. At this rate, they'd hit the Iron Age within a decade, and a proper nation-state wouldn't be far behind.
Speaking of which, I wondered how Dalos was doing. Should I take a peek? For now, he seemed to be following my advice, crafting a metal planet for his machine lifeforms to inhabit. It was enormous—about twice the volume of my own planet. Infused with Dalos's tastes, the metals clumped into highly geometric patterns. True to their mechanical nature, nearly every resource forming the ground was metal, with powerful magnetic fields coursing through it. He was generating electrical energy from those fields to power the machine lifeforms, huh. Impressive... he'd put some real thought into it.
[How's this? Seems like I've made something pretty satisfying.]
Dalos's voice echoed in my mind. He'd noticed me watching.
[The planet's a good start, but it's just sitting there alone.]
Of course, as TranspoX shows, a central star like a sun isn't crucial for them. The Cube serves as their sun, energy source, and mother. But wasn't that inefficient and risky setup scrapped?
[As you suggested, I'm planning to add something like the Cube—a medium that can directly channel my power.]
So he settled on that after all. But it wasn't just mimicking the Cube; it embodied Dalos's authority as a material medium. Makes sense—the Cube basically borrows the Creator God's power anyway. Come to think of it, TranspoX's Cube might be the same: less the Cube's own power, more a conduit for the Creator God's might. Whatever. As a substance wielding an Outer God's power directly, no one could steal or destroy it. It couldn't be destroyed in the first place, and even if it were, its direct link to Dalos would regenerate it. That eliminates the high-risk downside.
A metal planet with machine lifeforms. Yeah, it screams pure romance.
[Now it's time to create the lifeforms.]
Oh ho, Cybertron planet done—next up, the Cybertronians to live on it. Let's see how he does it.
Dalos instantly designed and created the lifeforms he'd envisioned. Basically humanoid: two arms, two legs, bipedal, hands for tools—efficient as hell. Outer shell of sleek metal panels, naturally. Inside, intricate mechanical parts befitting robots. A self-spinning engine near the heart powered by electromagnetic fields, hydraulics in the joints fueled by that energy for movement. Size around 10-20 meters. Big, but not so massive their metal bodies couldn't support it.
[I added the transformation feature you mentioned. Figured spaceship mode would let them roam the cosmos.]
Default: spaceship transform. Depending on the planet's environment, they could shift into cars, planes, ships, submarines—full arsenal of vehicles. Whoa... it's straight-up TranspoX.
[The species name... Metallians.]
Metallians! Metal humans. The name drips with romance, sibal.
No need for industrial or cyber revolutions—they're born robots, so science and tech are innate. Default transformation is a spaceship? The species isn't overwhelmingly strong baseline, but shifting into cutting-edge machines cranks combat power sky-high. As robots, their mechanical engineering is god-tier by existence alone. Downsides: fragile to impacts due to delicate parts, vulnerable to EMPs. But Dalos countered with always-on magnetic shields.
Looking at them now, this species is pretty OP too, isn't it? They won't get captured and dissected by Rubarans—they'll reverse-capture and dissect them...
Still, he coded them friendly unless attacked first. For the elves, naturally. Gotta link up with the nearby elves into an alliance. Bonus if they visit first and spark a mechanical revolution on the elf planet.
And so, with a bit of my guidance and Dalos's authority, the Metallian planet Metallica was born. They'll need time to settle in—no rushing to the elf world yet. Wonder how many years till stabilization. Can't wait to see how far the elves advance by then.
Oh, but Yujin attacking the Rubaran elder might beat that timeline. Only about three years left from that scene.
# The Death of Elder Organ
This incident ignited massive controversy among the Meias tribe. Yujin, a Terra with immense magical talent. Elder Organ, who despised and persecuted him solely for being Terra. His resentment boiled over into ambushing Yujin in a remote area to kill him. It escalated into a massive clash with Elder Yupiter, ending in Organ's death.
A major scandal. The Meias split into two factions, fighting fiercely.
"A mere Terra killing a great Meias elder? Unacceptable!"
"It's rebellion—terrorism! Killing a fellow elder, no matter the grudge!"
"The Alliance won't stand for this!"
One side raged at a Terra causing a Meias elder's death, demanding punishment and exile for Yupiter and Yujin.
The other side vehemently opposed.
"We must accept magical talent and diversity, even from other races. Elder Organ attacked first out of petty jealousy!"
"Any mentor would fight back if their disciple was assaulted."
"Elder Yupiter was in the right."
Tournament champion or not, his skill demanded respect—Organ's envy was the fault. No blame on Yupiter or Yujin.
The factions clashed wildly.
"...If I just step aside, this would end. But it's blowing up too much."
Elder Yupiter sighed at the sight. Other elders shook their heads.
"Organ's seat is already vacant. You leaving too makes two empty. That's..."
"Pick new elders, fill the spots—the fighting will die down. It's just hot gossip now; it'll fade."
They didn't want Yupiter gone. One dead elder was bad enough; losing another complicates replacements. Yujin's magic was proven legit. Consensus would swing to Yupiter's innocence, quieting soon enough.
"I hope so."
Yupiter sighed again. The Meias infighting was minor. The real issue: the outside.
News of Yujin spread across the Meias and most of the Galactic Alliance, causing uproar. The tournament was internal hype, but a Alliance elder's death—especially a powerful Meias one—went galaxy-wide, dragging Yujin's name into the spotlight.
"A Terra with magic talent?"
"Good enough for an Alliance elder to take as disciple!"
"Won the magic tournament too, right?"
"What?! Terras can barely handle low-tier spells!"
Yujin's existence buzzed across the Galactic Alliance, stirring the masses.
