93 - Crafting Lethal Weapons
The next morning, Gaya lay sprawled across the bed, completely spent after an intense round of sex.
It had been a while since they’d gone at it like that, and she was utterly drained. The torn condom wrappers littering the floor needed to be cleaned up, but she couldn’t summon the energy to move. Having ridden him so vigorously from on top, every part of her—jaw, waist, hips—ached without exception.
“I’ll rest just a little longer before I go.”
“Just sleep here.”
“No, it’s fine.”
Ever since the last time she’d stayed the night and gotten caught by Do Kyung the next morning, Gaya had been wary of repeating the same mistake. She let out a small sigh, clutched her aching pelvis, and slowly rose to prepare to leave.
Before she did, however, she noticed Kim Jun sitting in a chair, lost in a sudden wave of post-nut clarity. She walked over and leaned down toward his face.
Chu—
She wrapped her arms around him, gave him a soft kiss, then quietly slipped out of the room.
The master bedroom was always like this.
Whenever one of the beautiful top stars entered with nervous anticipation, they would leave clutching their lower belly or waist, moving with careful, measured steps.
Gaya glanced around several times to make sure everyone was still asleep before finally returning to her own room.
And shortly after she left, the door to the small room directly across from the master bedroom creaked open. In Ah cautiously poked her head out.
The hallway reeked of a strange scent mixed with perfume. In Ah let out a deep sigh, quietly closed the door, and went back to sleep.
The following day.
Kim Jun checked on his left arm every morning after the intense activity. It still throbbed painfully whenever he rotated it, especially around the shoulder, but he could tell it was gradually improving.
The one who came to check his wound that morning was Nanika.
“Hmm~ Hmm~ I’m here to look at the wound.”
Seeing Nanika in a green dress and carrying a first-aid kit reminded Kim Jun of an operating room nurse.
With a nervous expression, she carefully unwrapped the bandage. When she saw the yellowish pus and the scabs slowly forming around the wound, her eyes widened in surprise.
“K-Kng~ Sniff!”
Following Mari’s instructions, she first sniffed the wound to check for any greenish, soft rot. Then she used tweezers to remove the yellow pus and applied alcohol pads and iodine to the affected area.
Kim Jun gently stroked Nanika’s hair as she diligently dressed the wound.
“Eek?!”
Startled, Nanika looked up at him. Kim Jun offered her his sincere thanks.
“I’ll definitely repay you someday for giving me that blood transfusion.”
“N-No, it’s nothing.”
Nanika insisted it was no big deal. She shyly leaned her head into his touch like a puppy, rubbing against his hand affectionately. Once the wound was fully disinfected, she quietly stepped back.
During breakfast, Kim Jun made an announcement.
“I’m going to do some work today.”
“Work?”
“I’m going to make some anti-zombie weapons using the stuff we looted from the police station last time.”
“Oh! Zombie killing!”
When Emily clapped her hands in excitement, the other girls looked a bit hesitant but ultimately agreed once they heard they’d be making proper anti-zombie gear.
“Um… are you sure your body can handle it?”
“Oppa, you still can’t use your left arm properly yet.”
In response to Eun Ji and Mari’s concerns, Kim Jun wiggled his left hand experimentally and replied.
“It’s fine. I won’t be using much strength or lifting anything heavy.”
“If you say so…”
“I’ll just wrap it in plastic like last time.”
Kim Jun decided to start working again as they approached the second week.
Zzzzzzt—
“Kyaa?!”
“Hey, if you press it like that…”
“S-Sorry!”
He had handed Nanika the stun gun to try it out, but the moment sparks flew, she shrieked in fright.
She had already been scared of the blank-firing gun, and it turned out the girls found the stun gun just as intimidating to use.
“Next.”
“Why are you all so scared of this thing?”
Emily took the stun gun after Nanika. She immediately stretched out her arm and pressed the switch.
Zzt— Zzzzzzzzzzt—
“Whoa~ That’s powerful.”
Feeling the tingling vibration in her hand, Emily quickly handed it back to Kim Jun.
“You really have to be careful with this. If you accidentally zap yourself, you’re done for.”
It wasn’t meant for self-defense—it was a real police-grade suppression tool. The voltage was incredibly high. One solid hit and you’d be foaming at the mouth and collapsing.
After all eight of them had taken turns testing the stun gun, Kim Jun brought out pipes from the storage room and wooden blocks they had acquired during the last trade.
“We’re going to carve these and make them like this.”
He showed them the rough design he had sketched in a notebook. Everyone nodded slowly as they looked it over.
The plan was to attach a long pipe to make a spear-like weapon, carve wooden pieces to fit on it, and mount a stun gun at the tip. The switch for the stun gun was rigged so it could be triggered from the end of the pipe using a pull mechanism.
“It’ll take some time to make, but let’s get to it.”
“We’ll help too!”
Mari, Rana, Emily, and Do Kyung came out as the external work team.
The rest of the girls decided they would test the finished weapons later and went back inside to handle their own tasks.
Kim Jun had Do Kyung hold his uncomfortable left arm steady while he drew guide lines with a marker using his right hand.
“Cut here and here.”
“Are you going to use the grinder yourself?”
“It’s dangerous. How could I let you girls do it?”
“Should I try?”
“?”
When Mari volunteered, Kim Jun thought for a moment before calling over Rana, who was waiting nearby.
“If Mari wants to try, we need to prioritize safety. Rana, go get the welding gloves and head cap.”
“Yes!”
If she was determined to do it, they had to make sure she had proper protective gear first.
Once Rana ran to the storage room and brought back the equipment, Mari immediately put on the gloves, pulled the head cap over her head, and turned on the grinder.
Weeeeeeeng— Eeeeeeeeeeng!!!
The sharp wood-cutting blade spun at high speed. Mari flinched at first, but she slowly brought the grinder to the lines Kim Jun had drawn with the marker.
Each time she pressed it against the wood as instructed, the material was cleanly cut away. She gripped the tool tightly to resist the kickback and continued cutting.
She kept flinching while hollowing out the inside, but once she had finished cutting exactly where Kim Jun had marked, she released the switch and let out a sigh of relief.
“Well done.”
“Hoo—”
Mari took off the head cap, drenched in cold sweat. Kim Jun tested the irregularly shaped wooden piece against the stun gun.
He filed down the parts that didn’t quite fit, and once the size was perfect, he handed it to Rana and Do Kyung.
“Smooth it out nicely.”
“Okay!”
The two of them used sandpaper while Kim Jun used a tool he called a “wood rasp” to scrape out the inside of the wood. Finally, even Emily, who had been alone, was given a task.
“Emily, go get the shoe tongs.”
“Huh? Are they in the storage room?”
“There’s an oil can nearby. They should be in the toolbox next to it.”
“Okay!”
While she ran off, Kim Jun tested the pipes he had brought earlier and shook his head.
“This won’t work well inside a car.”
It seemed they would need something adjustable in the middle—like a cane or the shoe tongs.
After some tinkering, Kim Jun fitted the stun gun onto the tool he had made during the night, wrapped it tightly with electrical tape, and secured it firmly. The result was a spear-like weapon that could deliver an electric shock from a distance.
Click—
Zzzzzzzzzzt—
When he pulled the handle of the shoe tongs, the spark at the end of the stun gun lit up the dark night with startling clarity.
“Whoa!”
The girls, who had already confirmed its power, cheered at the sight of the extended weapon.
Kim Jun then decided to demonstrate just how vicious this weapon could be. He brought out one of the Bacchus bottles they used for Molotov cocktails and led everyone out to the yard where the car was parked.
He poured oil onto a corner of the wall that had been used as a burial spot for waste from the camping car’s portable toilet.
After soaking the area where feces had been buried with oil, Kim Jun told them to watch closely. He pressed the stun gun cane against the spot and immediately flipped the switch.
Zzzzzzzzzzt—
Boom!
“Kyaaaaa?!”
“Holy shit!”
“Oh my god!”
The four girls had been watching curiously, but the sudden explosion made them jump back in shock.
The moment the stun gun touched the oil-soaked ground, a loud roar erupted and flames shot up instantly.
“This is how you use it.”
“Oppa, the fire! The fire!!!”
“Yeah, yeah. Just put it out.”
He pulled out the fire extinguisher he had prepared in advance and sprayed it. White powder burst out, and the flames were extinguished in seconds.
While the girls, who had just experienced an unexpected bonfire in the middle of the night, tried to calm their racing hearts, Kim Jun decided to show them one more thing.
“Want to see it again?”
This time, he thoroughly soaked a bundle of toilet paper with the alcohol hand sanitizer from inside the car and threw it onto the same spot.
“So—whether it’s alcohol, oil, or even whiskey if nothing else works—pour it on and then hit it with electricity.”
Instead of the newly made stun gun spear, he pulled out the Taser gun he had brought earlier.
Using a cartridge here was a bit wasteful for testing, but it was necessary to demonstrate for training purposes.
“This is a Taser gun. When you fire it from a distance, it delivers an electric shock immediately.”
He stepped back a few meters, even from inside the house, and pulled the trigger. In the dark night, electricity crackled through the air, followed by another explosive sound.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzt— BOOM!
“Oh my god!!”
This time, some of the girls screamed while others endured it, knowing what was coming.
The bundle soaked in alcohol instead of oil instantly caught fire upon contact with the electricity. As the flames roared upward, Kim Jun grabbed the fire extinguisher again and put them out.
“See? That’s how you use it.”
“Ugh…”
Of course, under normal firearm laws, using it on flammable materials would get you in trouble. But in this situation, if they saw a zombie, laws and regulations went straight out the window. They would fire first and ask questions later.
Kim Jun handed the Taser gun and stun gun to the girls and said,
“Shall we keep practicing?”
“Hiiik?!”
“Right now?”
“I want to try! Me first!”
Thanks to their newly enriched arsenal, the idols now had their third lethal weapon after the slingshot and crossbow.
