Uninvited Guests
Today’s the kind of day when uninvited guests show up in droves. And every last one of them turns out to be a stunningly beautiful woman. Not long ago this felt like pure fantasy—exactly the kind of thing I never imagined would actually happen to me.
Kim Seoa glanced at my face from the side.
“Who is it?”
“Eh? Oh, someone I know.”
I gave her a vague answer, and her expression twisted in a way that was far too readable. The second I caught it, the playful part of me kicked in. I answered Jin Ayoung with the warmest, most professional voice I could manage.
“Welcome! She’s right inside. What brings you by, Ayoung-sshi? You didn’t call ahead, and if you had, I would’ve dropped everything to come get you.”
I opened the door and there she stood, already dressed to the nines, holding two paper bags in both hands. Jin Ayoung leaned in, alternating her gaze between me and Kim Seoa. I took one quick look at Seoa’s face too. The expression there was priceless—like she’d had “I would have run over the moment I heard” written across her forehead.
“I did call. You didn’t see the messages?”
I hadn’t checked my phone because I’d been giving Kim Seoa a full-body massage and then… well, you know how that goes. “Ah, shoot.” I pulled it out of my pocket and scrolled through Jin Ayoung’s non-notified messages.
- Jin Ayoung: Junhyun-sshi - Jin Ayoung: What are you doing right now? - Jin Ayoung: I have to run an errand on the Gangnam side. On my way back I thought I’d swing by your place. - Jin Ayoung: Are you busy? - Jin Ayoung: Don’t worry about it.
She’d sent all that and then just showed up anyway. Her cheerful smile made my heart do a little flip.
“Pretty as ever. Who is she?” Jin Ayoung asked, nodding toward Kim Seoa.
“Just a friend. She’s leaving soon.”
“Oh, hello.”
“…Hello.”
Kim Seoa greeted her with the expression of someone who’d just swallowed a bug. Jin Ayoung didn’t seem to notice. She turned back to me.
“So, shall we head out? Just a short walk?”
I sighed. “Look at me. I’m in no condition for a date.”
I pointed at my sweat-damp T-shirt and the light workout shorts I’d thrown on. In the bathroom Kim Seoa had yanked my pants down to my ankles in one rough motion.
“I don’t mind—”
“Don’t say that. Come inside and wait a minute. I’ll change in a second.”
“Ah, okay… sure. And this.”
Jin Ayoung handed me back the clothes and slippers I’d borrowed last time.
“I wore them perfectly last time.”
“You don’t have to say that.”
From the side I could hear Kim Seoa’s breathing—short, sharp, and getting louder with every second. She was probably boiling inside.
Jin Ayoung hesitated, then stepped inside anyway.
The front door was wide open. I stared at Kim Seoa in silence. She read my signal instantly, let out a short, irritated snort, and slipped her shoes on. She walked out with exaggerated grace. After a beat she turned back.
“I’m leaving… I’ll text you later. Uh, goodbye.”
She bowed to Jin Ayoung. Jin Ayoung smiled back, relaxed and genuinely pleased.
“I will too. It was nice seeing you. You’re staying longer than you planned, so I’ll have to buy you a beer on the way out.”
Kim Seoa’s cheeks twitched, but she nodded and hurried off. Jin Ayoung watched her go, then flicked her long hair over her shoulder and asked me softly,
“She’s stunning. She must have lots of fans. Jealousy must be eating her alive.”
“Yeah. She was popular as hell in high school.”
“Pfft. Junhyun-sshi must have liked her a lot.”
“Huh? No.”
“So, how far did you get?”
“Eh?”
“Hand-holding only and then you slept together? No lipstick on your lips. Did you suck it all off already?”
Jin Ayoung reached up, gently brushed her fingertips across my lips, and then trailed them down to my chin like she was wiping away an invisible smudge. I felt my face burn. She’d just read me like an open book.
I was speechless. She laughed and patted my shoulder.
“I’m joking, I’m joking. But seriously, Junhyun-sshi, your expression when you’re embarrassed is too cute. Like you’re the guy who saved me from the Han River.”
“Keep teasing me and the gentle lamb might turn into a beast.”
“Oh, I can’t wait. Keep teasing me.”
Jin Ayoung grinned and drifted toward the bed, then sat down.
“You said you’d change clothes, right? Let’s go out for a minute. I’d love to ask for a shameless massage, but I have to head to work soon.”
It was past noon. Normally she should have been at the hostess bar by now. I wondered where she’d been and what she’d been doing, but the fact that she’d still thought to come see me in the middle of everything just made my chest warm.
I headed to the bathroom, wiped the sweat off, and changed into a simple long-sleeve round-neck T-shirt and jeans, then threw on a light jacket.
“Ready?”
I spun around in the entrance. I was practically preening like a girl on a date. She smelled good—clean, light, nothing too heavy. I couldn’t identify the scent at all.
I followed my nose to the door. Jin Ayoung looped her arm through mine without a word, and we stepped out together.
We walked for a while, talking about the shop. I told her about massaging Wonjae-senpai and about the auntie who’d asked for a four-hand session. She laughed so hard her eyes crinkled.
The sound of our footsteps on the pavement and the steady warmth of her arm made the whole memory of Kim Seoa fade into the distance.
We passed through twisting backstreets and kept descending the hill until we reached the Han River path where we’d first met. Neither of us said a word, but we both turned that way naturally.
The roar of a car passing by grew louder. Conversation died. The silence between us felt heavier, sweeter.
We walked another five minutes and came to a jogging path beside the river. Jin Ayoung pointed at a bench.
“Let’s sit.”
We sat side by side. I noticed she’d parked nearby.
“You parked close?”
“Figured you’d probably come this way.”
“I’m glad you came.”
“Don’t be. Showing up unannounced was probably a pain.”
“Seoa and I aren’t anything.”
A soft, knowing smile spread across Jin Ayoung’s face as she leaned her head against my shoulder. My heart hammered. I was terrified she could hear it.
“Dad called again.”
“Eh? Still about money?”
“Yeah… but I told him I’m done with stupid moves. I even told Mom.”
“So…?”
“Yes. She won’t be able to treat me however she wants anymore. It’s really strange. Ever since I met you two days ago, my mornings feel so light and my head doesn’t ache when I work.”
“Like you died and came back?”
“Fuhah. Maybe that’s it.”
For some reason I felt like I had to. I reached out and stroked her hair. Jin Ayoung’s head tilted, and she leaned closer. I heard her swallow. A soft kiss landed on my cheek.
“You said this was the first time we’ve done this, right?”
“…Yes.”
“A kiss too?”
“…Yes.”
“You’re really good at it.”
“Me?”
“Yes. But if you fix a few things, you’ll be incredible.”
I wondered why she was bringing this up. Then I realized: this was her way of asking me to kiss her again. I’d learned that indirect questions were often more tempting than straight ones.
“Want to practice?”
“W-what? Kiss?”
I panicked. Jin Ayoung burst out laughing and poked my shoulder.
“Ha! You’re too cute when you’re flustered. Not kissing—flirting with girls.”
Flirting with girls. I turned to stare at her.
“We have women at the bar too. They need escorts prepared. I personally train the ace girls. Want to learn from me? Not that I’m trying to recruit you for the shop.”
She probably wouldn’t hire me anyway. I knew exactly how I looked.
“Teach me.”
It would help. The women-only shop meant more contact, more conversation. I’d already met three women here, and tomorrow I’d be alone with VIP clients. If I froze, I’d suffocate before I even got started.
Jin Ayoung taught me step by step how to make a woman feel wanted. She covered basic manners, humor, humility, pride, and that tricky tightrope walk between respect and arrogance.
Then she took my hand and guided it to her ear.
“This is a little cheeky, but touch here gently and look at me.”
“Ah.”
“No. Hehe. Stop talking and do it.”
“Ah, like this?”
I rubbed the soft spot just below her ear. Jin Ayoung’s eyes fluttered half-closed with pleasure.
“Good. You’re doing it right.”
Her voice was thick, husky. I felt a rush of pride—and something far more dangerous. She’d been giving me subtle hints all along. It was adorable.
Even with someone as experienced as me, I always tried my best. A former saleswoman like Seoa had no idea how good I was.
I pressed my lips gently to the soft part of hers. Her tongue slid in eagerly, probing, licking, tasting every inch. I set my hand on her thigh, feeling the heat through her sheer stockings. Beneath them her skin was soft and firm. I kept my hand exactly where it was—one on her ear, one on her thigh—lost in the thick, sweet taste of her kiss.
The flavor of sex and the flavor of a kiss were two entirely different things. If I had to choose between them right now, I’d pick death.
With Kim Seoa I never let her kiss me. No matter how she begged, I never gave in. The moment I did, that starved look in her eyes would have turned me into her slave.
The short, surprisingly efficient lesson ended. I walked Jin Ayoung back to her car.
On the way home we texted.
- Me: Take care when you get home. - Jin Ayoung: Hah, I don’t want to go to work. - Jin Ayoung: Junhyun-sshi is working tomorrow, right? - Me: Yes. - Me: I’ve only been working a little while, so I don’t really know what labor pain feels like. - Jin Ayoung: Fuhah. But even in happiness there was a shadow.
