Business Trip with the Female Boss I Hate – Only One Hotel Room
"I've been wondering about this the whole time. Suzuki Chisami, who's the person backing you?"
I finally asked Suzuki Chisami the question that had been nagging at me.
"I joined the Taira Donation Foundation on Taira Ichiro's orders, which placed me on Taira Jiro's side."
"So you're a double agent?"
It turned out the person behind Suzuki Chisami was Taira Danjo's eldest son, Taira Ichiro. Still, if she was playing both sides, she must have had some connection to Jiro. So why hadn't she been caught during the recent purge?
"Then what exactly were you doing at the HR Development Center?"
"I'm sure you already know the true nature of the Taira Donation Foundation, Ryuta-sama."
The Taira Donation Foundation carried the name of a charitable organization, but its real business was laundering the Taira Group's dirty money. Officially it ranked low within the group, but unofficially many of its alumni rose to the very top of the Taira empire.
"It's an open secret. Of course I know."
"That's why, when someone from the Donation Foundation suddenly shows up in a different faction, they're often sidelined or sent to a dead-end department. I came to the HR Development Center to replace the 'Donation Foundation' label with something more trustworthy. While I was at it, I was ordered to gather information on you for both Ichiro and Jiro. I never had direct contact with Jiro's people. I had no connection to Nadachi Tojo, who just vanished in the purge, either. I communicate through other channels."
It was like how a luxury brand could be manufactured in China but still be called premium once a single Italian button was sewn on. Suzuki Chisami had come to the HR Development Center simply to trade the Donation Foundation label for a more credible one.
Since she had no contact with Nadachi Tojo, she hadn't been swept up in the HR Development Center purge. I'd always been curious how it worked. If you split information sources across multiple handlers instead of one person managing everything, then even if one line was destroyed, the others could survive and keep feeding intel. That was a technique worth remembering when I built my own faction.
In the end, it meant Suzuki Chisami was a valuable asset both Ichiro and Jiro had invested heavily in. After all, they'd gone through the trouble of laundering her through the HR Development Center.
"You don't know your next assignment yet?"
"No. I'll need to stay at the HR Development Center for at least two more years."
Hmm...! In that case, I can just leave her where she is and use her as my information source. She's perfectly positioned to receive reports from both sides at once.
"Then keep living exactly as you have been, and share everything you learn with me."
"Understood."
"What did Ichiro and Jiro promise you in return for the information?"
"Nothing specific. Just vague promises of high positions in the future. Most people from the Donation Foundation do rise pretty high, after all."
The only thing I could offer her right now was money from Yukiko, who was busy cleaning up tax issues... Yeah. Money really is king. I decided to provide Suzuki Chisami with funds.
"Ichiro and Jiro will handle the high positions anyway. What I can give you right now is money. How much do you want?"
"I..."
Suzuki Chisami seemed to hesitate, then reached between my legs and grabbed my thick cock. A seductive smile spread across her face—one that made it hard to believe she'd still been a virgin just a few hours earlier.
"If you give me this often, that'll be enough."
"Want it right now?"
"It still hurts a little..."
Right. I had been pretty rough with her. When I spread Suzuki Chisami's legs, her pussy was red and swollen. I'd need to buy her morning-after pills, ointment, and antibiotics later.
And so we fell asleep together in the same bed without having sex.
###
The Kita-Tohoku Branch of the HR Development Center was located in Akita City, Akita Prefecture, but Taira Food's headquarters was in Daisen City. Because of the distance, the schedule generously started at ten o'clock. Thankfully, even though I'd lost control last night and torn Suzuki Chisami's suit to shreds, she'd brought a spare outfit. Otherwise we would've wasted the morning shopping for clothes.
Since we'd gone to bed after four-thirty, we woke up around eight-thirty, got ready in twenty minutes, ate the hotel breakfast, and headed for Daisen. Matsuhira Ginichiro was supposed to join us after lunch, so it looked like Suzuki Chisami and I would handle the morning tasks alone. There wasn't much actual work to do, but at least we could spend the morning in peace.
The grounds of Taira Food were enormous. Multiple factories producing various processed foods surrounded the company's headquarters. President Nagumo Sian’s philosophy was that any company focused on production should keep its head office right next to the factories. That way, if any trouble arose, headquarters could respond immediately.
"Welcome."
After we parked, a Taira Food employee greeted us and led us to a small office. The work there was straightforward. We simply asked whether the new hires who had received training at the Kita-Tohoku Branch had also been taught the branch's internal records. It was essentially cross-verification.
The afternoon schedule wasn't work-related at all—it was a tour of Taira Food. Yukiko must have arranged it so we could enjoy ourselves while we were out here. The itinerary included touring the factory, tasting freshly made products instead of frozen ones, and then sampling and evaluating new products in the R&D lab.
After greeting the new hires from Taira Food, the two of us split up to ask questions. We didn't need to investigate every single new employee; checking about ten was enough. We each took five, finished the interviews, and found it was only ten-forty.
"Most of the employees said they'd completed all the events listed in their records, so there don't seem to be any problems."
"You're right. Everything matched, so the morning work wrapped up quickly."
I had decided to use formal speech with Suzuki Chisami outside the bedroom—especially at the company. Since she was a double agent for both Ichiro and Jiro, there was no need to show that we were close.
Once all the new hires had left, we decided to relax until lunch. If Suzuki Chisami's pussy hadn't been so swollen, I would have continued her training in some empty office or bathroom. Since we'd gone to bed so late, we chose to nap until lunch. We planned to snack plenty while touring the factory anyway, so we agreed to rest fully until then.
When I woke up from sleeping on my stomach, it was already twelve-fifty. I could have slept longer, but hunger forced me up. My stomach was probably complaining that I hadn't fed it at the usual time. I shook awake Suzuki Chisami, who was still sound asleep.
We were supposed to meet Taira Food's PR representative and Matsuhira Ginichiro in the headquarters lobby at one o'clock, so we could just use the restroom and head straight down.
"Aigoo~! You've worked hard. Not much to check on this time, right?"
Matsuhira Ginichiro seemed full of confidence today. He'd been caught off guard by Suzuki Chisami yesterday and gotten in trouble, but since there was nothing suspicious on the Taira Food side, he apparently hadn't felt the need to show up early.
"Shall we head out right away?"
A staff member from Taira Food's PR department arrived driving a golf cart and picked us up. The grounds were so vast that walking everywhere would have been exhausting.
"We'll start by touring Factory One, where they produce noodles."
We rode the cart into the factory and circled around. The pathways were wide enough that even with the cart moving through, people could still pass by. The factory ran nonstop. We watched dough being extruded into noodles, immediately boiled, shaped, and frozen. For somen noodles, they were rapidly dried in a dehydrator before packaging.
The smell of boiling noodles and flour naturally made me hungry. My stomach let out a loud growl before I could stop it.
"Didn't you eat, my friend?"
"We skipped lunch because we knew we'd be touring and tasting."
"Then please try the udon and somen made from the noodles produced in Factory One!"
We took the cart again and moved to the cafeteria. They had already prepared udon and somen, knowing we were coming. Since we'd be visiting multiple factories, the portions were small—like the miniature udon bowls served alongside katsu or Japanese set meals. When I slurped them down, the freshly boiled noodles that hadn't gone through freezing were indeed delicious. The broth was a perfectly balanced udon stock, too.
"It's definitely better when eaten right away."
"Mmm, delicious. This is exactly why I always suggest touring Taira Food whenever I come from headquarters for inspections. It's really that good. Or should I say, giving us just a little makes us want more? Like this..."
"Shall we move on to the next factory?"
The PR staff member, apparently used to Matsuhira Ginichiro's endless chatter, smoothly cut him off and led us back to the cart. Throughout the afternoon we toured various factories and sampled all kinds of Taira Food products. Just as expected, freshly made always tasted better than what you could buy at supermarkets or convenience stores.
"Is this the last one? I've never seen this place before."
"Yes. This is actually the site for the new Factory Seven currently under construction. It's meant to show that Taira Food will continue growing. Once we return, the tour will be over."
The final factory gave off a somewhat desolate atmosphere as the sun began to set, but after hearing the PR staff member's explanation, I realized it was still under construction. It definitely had that unfinished feeling—maybe seventy or eighty percent complete?
We were circling the construction site in the cart, about to head back, when someone suddenly appeared in the middle of the road. It was a woman wearing black tactical gear—what people called techwear—and a mechanical mask. We were still quite far away, but my enhanced eyesight from the Body of Cambion let me see her clearly. She raised a long object slung over her shoulder and aimed it at us.
Fuck! Is that a gun?
Bang!
The moment I thought is that a gun? the gunshot rang out. A red dot appeared in the center of Matsuhira Ginichiro's forehead. By the time I looked toward the woman, she was already sprinting away, orange bob haircut fluttering behind her.
"Kyaa!"
"Matsuhira!"
Suzuki Chisami's scream came a beat too late, and the PR staff member shook Matsuhira Ginichiro's shoulder. But since he'd been shot in the head, there was no chance he was still alive.
