The NTR Man and the Bedroom Ambush
We relayed the situation to the Mumantai team as we headed toward the villa in Nikko City. A reply came back almost immediately.
> Danger level acknowledged. We have approached and installed listening devices!
What the hell? Why did they all sound so excited? Weren’t the Mumantai supposed to be the stoic, silent types? And why go to the trouble of planting bugs when it was clearly risky?
To be honest, I was curious about the situation too.
“Patch it through,” Mimata Chieri said, practically vibrating with excitement.
When I gave her an incredulous look, she smiled sheepishly.
“It’s a scene straight out of a drama, but this time there are two real actors involved. How thrilling is that? And the third one is our target.”
“I suppose… Between adultery and infidelity, who exactly is getting NTR’d here?”
“Hmm… Probably the one who started dating her first, right?”
“Also, should we tell Aunt Kokoro about this? The guy’s a pretty famous actor. Doesn’t this fall under her management?”
“There’s no chance this will leak to the media or the police,” Mimata Chieri replied firmly.
Well, it wasn’t really my problem. Managing the agency’s actors was Taira Kokoro’s job, not mine. I decided to watch the unfolding drama with great interest and strike at the perfect moment.
After driving for a while, we arrived at the ambush point where two Mumantai agents were waiting. It was a low hill overlooking Sawasu Amika’s villa. One of them had already finished setting everything up for our enjoyment. There were speakers and monitors displaying feeds from the villa’s front entrance and back door. The other agent had pre-planted bombs in strategic locations that would give us an advantage in the coming fight. They weren’t pressure-sensitive mines but remote-detonated explosives. If the enemy brought too many people, we could simply blow them up.
“What’s the current situation?”
“...It’s like this, sir.”
At my question, the Mumantai agent turned up the speaker volume.
“...Turn the volume down for a second.”
Right as I told them to lower it, Tochimura Kaminojo’s car pulled into the villa. He parked in the lot, noticed the two other vehicles already there, and tilted his head in confusion. Then something seemed to click. He rushed inside in a panic.
“Turn it back up.”
“Yes!”
Everyone was way too into this… including me.
Mimata Chieri had somehow already changed into techwear and was holding a bucket of popcorn. A rifle was slung across her back, and she had a pistol holstered on each hip. Her gear was flawless.
“Don’t you need any weapons, Junior?”
“No, I’m fine. I’m a direct disciple of Fujigasaki Rinka, so I’m ridiculously strong. Still, give me a helmet. I’d rather not get shot in the head.”
“Ooh! Really? I’m such a huge fan!”
So Mimata Chieri was a fan of Master Rinka too. Interesting. I’d thought she only cared about food.
She pulled a helmet from her bag that was sized for my head. Unlike the plain ones the Mumantai used, this one had a sleek, cyberpunk design.
“I have one with her autograph already on it. Want it?”
“Yes! I always studied her stance and movements to learn martial arts.”
Now that I thought about it, Hanasaki Sayaka admired Fujigasaki Rinka because she was a strong woman, while Mimata Chieri seemed to have become a fan by analyzing and copying her techniques. Different flavors of admiration.
“Amika!!”
They were both clearly reaching climax, screaming each other’s names, when—
Bang!
The sound of a door being slammed open echoed through the speakers.
We couldn’t see it, but Tochimura Kaminojo was clearly shouting at the two of them.
“Who the hell are you? Don’t you know who I am? Huh?!”
Even in that situation, Murakata Keiji was impressive. Shouldn’t an entertainer have a little more sense?
“Hngh! What’s going on? Wait a second…!”
The panicked voices of Murakata Keiji and Sawasu Amika came through. What was happening? It wouldn’t come out…?
Ah! Sawasu Amika must have gotten vaginismus from the sudden shock of Tochimura Kaminojo bursting in! That would explain why Murakata Keiji’s dick was stuck inside her.
“No, it literally won’t come out, you idiot!”
“He’s right…! It got stuck because I got scared…!”
When I glanced to the side, Mimata Chieri’s face was slightly flushed. The three Mumantai agents were snickering and cracking up.
Right. What happened to the Mumantai agent who was tailing Tochimura Kaminojo?
“Where is Agent Four right now?”
> I pursued the target but noticed what appeared to be his backup vehicles following. To avoid detection, I intentionally took a different route. Upon checking my rear, I confirmed two nine-seater vans are discreetly tailing us.
So he had brought reinforcements after all. Two nine-seater vans meant a maximum of eighteen people. Our prediction had been fifteen at most, so we were looking at three more than expected. Three extra bodies were something I could handle.
Shortly after Agent Four’s report, the two vans pulled up in front of Sawasu Amika’s villa and people poured out. A quick count showed sixteen men. Eight per van, it seemed.
Tochimura Kaminojo’s voice crackled over the radio as he gave orders. About four men rushed into the villa.
It sounded like Tochimura Kaminojo was still giving orders even though the vaginismus hadn’t subsided. Now that four men had left the main group, it was the perfect opportunity.
“Let’s snipe about four of them from here and move in.”
“Understood.”
At my command, Mimata Chieri and the Mumantai agents drew their weapons and quietly aimed at the Minamoto security team stationed near the villa entrance.
Bang! Bang bang! Bang!
Four gunshots rang out, and five enemies dropped. Four shots, five bodies down?
I looked at Mimata Chieri in surprise. She winked at me and said,
“I used armor-piercing rounds and lined two of them up.”
Not bad. But there was no time to admire her marksmanship. The enemy wasn’t completely incompetent. They quickly identified our firing direction and came charging while returning fire.
We needed to abandon our position and move to the spot we had prepared. There were still eleven enemies left. If we counted Tochimura Kaminojo, twelve—but he wasn’t much of a combat factor.
We left the speakers and monitors behind and sprinted to our pre-selected location. Gunshots echoed behind us, and bullets whistled past, embedding themselves in trees. Although it was just a gentle hill, the scattered trees made it poor terrain for accurate shooting, so none of us were hit. On top of that, everyone was wearing sturdy techwear, so even taking one or two rounds wouldn’t incapacitate us.
We reached the clearing we had scouted earlier. The Mumantai agents took cover behind the barricades they had set up in advance and opened fire on the approaching enemies. As soon as we assumed firing positions, several enemies rushed forward with large rectangular shields to block the bullets. Although they had been caught off guard at first, they were clearly well-trained special forces. They didn’t panic at our counterattack and quickly established a defensive line.
“Judging by the shields, they appear to be one of Minamoto’s lower-tier units—the Tateyari.”
Tateyari literally meant “shield and spear,” but here the “spear” obviously referred to guns. They were a lower-tier unit, but they had numbers and used their shields effectively, making them a stable and reliable force. The shields they carried were made of multiple layers of reinforced fiber-plastic—lightweight yet strong enough to stop grenade shrapnel. They excelled in urban combat or infantry-only engagements without missiles or tanks. Even the youngest son of Megacorp or TMC could borrow them if they formed an alliance with Minamoto. I had used them quite effectively myself in the past.
Their weaknesses were obviously low mobility and weak firepower. No matter how light the shields were, carrying an extra one slowed them down. Because they held shields in one hand, they used light submachine guns that fired pistol rounds, which lacked stopping power. Since this was still the early days of the youngest Megacorp son’s regime, their tactics weren’t fully refined yet. They operated in two-man teams—one with a shield and pistol, the other with just a rifle.
Both sides aimed their weapons at each other and fell into a brief stalemate. Soon, footsteps approached, and Tochimura Kaminojo stepped out. Including the four who had gone into the villa, there were now twelve enemies total. The moment he realized they had the numerical advantage, Tochimura Kaminojo broke into a wide, ugly grin.
“Shut up, you NTR bastard. The guy who got his girl stolen…”
He was trying to run his mouth now that he had the upper hand, but we had seen and heard everything. He might be laughing on the outside, but he was probably crying on the inside. Time to mock him as much as possible. After all, this was the bastard who had ruined my mother’s birthday party at the restaurant. I really wanted to mess with him.
“From the bugs we planted, it sounded like that actor has a huge dick and you don’t. Why don’t you show us? I’m genuinely curious how small it is.”
“You crazy bastard!! Open fire!”
Tochimura Kaminojo couldn’t hold back his rage and immediately ordered them to shoot. Giving the order to fire over such a petty insult? His mentality was shockingly fragile.
I gave a signal with my eyes. One of the Mumantai agents nodded and pressed the detonator for the bombs planted under the Tateyari’s feet.
But the explosion we were expecting never came.
Realizing we were confused, Tochimura Kaminojo laughed.
What a damn exposition villain… Still, predicting our plan was pretty strategist-like of him.
Hmm… So it’s come to this after all?
I took off my jacket. With the helmet on, I could at least avoid a headshot and instant death. The jacket was one of the nicer ones I had bought recently, so I didn’t want bullet holes in it.
“Watch closely, Senior.”
I stood up from cover. Then I rolled my neck from side to side, cracking it loudly.
