Mimata Chieri
After finishing my visit to Mimata Chieri and returning home, I began reading the file on Tochimura Kaminojo that Taira Danjo had given me.
Hmm… Tochimura Kaminojo, thirty-two years old, Deputy General Manager of the Planning and Coordination Office at Minamoto Bussan. Tokyo native, graduate of Tokyo Toa University—one of the private colleges owned by the Minamoto family. He joined Minamoto Bussan, the group’s headquarters, right before graduation and had been climbing the ladder at full speed ever since. Even in his early days as a junior employee he’d pulled off bold moves, occasionally crossing into outright brutality… So this was why he’d sent those two gunmen after me.
From the Taira Group’s perspective, if you ignored the failure, the man had commissioned at least four successful hits. Being a Minamoto asset meant the police simply looked the other way.
He’d risen to deputy general manager in his early thirties, so his family background was rock-solid. Father was a senior partner at a major law firm; mother was a professor at Toa University. Hmm… I had no plans to stir up his household, so there was nothing useful to exploit there.
He lived in a luxury tower mansion in Tokyo’s Minato ward. The neighborhood was crawling with CCTV and the security was tight, so any move at his residence would require extreme caution.
The company headquarters was in central Tokyo as well, making him a difficult target to remove. Using force while he was inside the Minamoto Bussan building would give both conglomerates the perfect excuse to restart the Genpei War, so striking there was out of the question.
“Let’s see the special notes…”
Special notes… Married, but openly cheating. Standard fare. His mistress was an entertainer named Sawasu Amika. The name didn’t ring any bells, so she probably wasn’t A-list. Tochimura had bought her a villa in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture—a resort area famous for its shrines. Seemed he’d splurged to keep her happy.
Funnily enough, Sawasu Amika belonged to Hirashita Agency, a subsidiary under Taira Entertainment, which was run by Taira Kokoro. That connection made things simple. All I had to do was get her schedule from Taira Entertainment and set a trap.
The only downside was that I’d end up owing Taira Entertainment a favor—more precisely, owing Taira Kokoro. Still, since this was under Taira Danjo’s direct orders, maybe I could play it smart and avoid any real debt.
I dialed the number I’d saved earlier. The screen lit up with the name of Taira Kokoro’s secretary: Mori Sota.
“This is Mori Sota, Director of the Secretariat at Taira Entertainment.”
“This is Taira Ryuta. I’ve been given a mission by Grandfather and require assistance from Taira Entertainment.”
“…This isn’t something I can authorize. I’ll inform Lady Kokoro.”
With Taira Danjo’s name involved, of course a mere secretary couldn’t decide. The line went quiet while Mori Sota presumably consulted his boss.
“So, what’s the mission?”
She picked up immediately. Naturally she was curious; anything ordered by the chairman affected the succession race. Scoring points here could only help her.
“Hello, Aunt.”
“Call me Kokoro instead of that stiff ‘Aunt’ nonsense. Nobody in the entertainment business enjoys being called ‘auntie.’”
“Understood, Kokoro.”
“Hohoho! You really are something, just like the rumors said. So, what’s the mission? It must be connected to that recent shooting, right? Something involving the Minamoto side?”
The moment I used her given name, Taira Kokoro let out a bold laugh. As expected of one of the three leading candidates to inherit the Taira Group, she had already pieced the situation together.
“Yes. Grandfather gave me the chance to take revenge. I thought the matter would be resolved quickly with Taira Entertainment’s help, so I contacted you.”
“Then you’ll be owing me. Are you sure that’s all right?”
She went straight for the debt the second she smelled an opportunity. Just as I thought.
“Since this involves striking at Minamoto, your name will appear in the final report. Wouldn’t that mean Aunt Kokoro is the one owing me? Truth is, I can finish the job without Taira Entertainment’s power. I’m only asking for cooperation to make things smoother.”
In reality, assassinating Tochimura Kaminojo was just a matter of staking him out and waiting for the right moment. He might be a rising star, but he was still only a deputy general manager. He wouldn’t have elite close protection. It would be inconvenient and the wait might drag on, but with Taira Entertainment’s help I could build a plan around a known schedule. Much cleaner.
“Fine. I’ll concede. Let’s call it even—no debts on either side. But you will put my name in that report, yes?”
Taira Kokoro apparently had no interest in playing tug-of-war with a nephew who wasn’t a direct succession rival. She dropped the idea of putting me in her debt. Not owing each other worked in her favor; any extra favor in the chairman’s eyes was pure profit for a potential heir.
“I’ll make sure your name is included.”
“Good. What do you need?”
“The target’s mistress is Sawasu Amika. She’s with Hirashita Agency.”
“His mistress? Really! I keep telling these girls not to cheapen their own value, but they never listen~! Amika is gorgeous—what could she possibly be lacking that she’d settle for a married man? I specifically warned her against seeing married men or old fossils!”
I quickly searched for Sawasu Amika after Kokoro called her beautiful. She really was striking, the kind of classic beauty you’d see in a historical drama. Pretty, but not the trendy type that dominated the current scene. That explained why she was stuck at a subsidiary rather than under the main Taira Entertainment label.
“When you fall in love, you stop seeing the other person’s conditions.”
“Huhuhu. How adorable, nephew. Sounds like you’ve had plenty of experience with love?”
Apparently a twenty-year-old talking about love was cute. Honestly, if I were in her position I’d probably laugh at a green kid spouting romantic nonsense too.
“Ahem. I need Sawasu Amika’s schedule or the cooperation of her manager.”
“Easy enough. Since they entrusted you with this, the target must be at least deputy-general-manager level. Do a good job. Earning Father’s trust is no simple feat.”
Taira Kokoro clearly didn’t see me as a rival. She offered genuine encouragement before ending the call.
With Taira Entertainment’s cooperation secured, the job had become much simpler. I had resolved to kill the man behind the shooting, and it looked like the matter would be settled faster than expected.

“Haaahng♥”
A high, sweet moan escaped as I pulled out. Thick, milky semen immediately spilled from Sinoe Misano’s pussy. Just like before, we had stolen a few minutes for a quick office fuck.
“Mmm…♥ So what were you trying to tell me?”
I wiped her clean with a wet tissue. She asked the question while still letting out little moans. I hadn’t planned on sex, but she’d gone without all weekend. The moment I asked for a meeting, she grabbed my wrist and dragged me into the empty office. After that it was the usual story—she yanked her panties off, clung to me, and cried out in pleasure.
“I probably won’t be able to come in for the next few days. Four at the most.”
“Huh? What’s going on? If you’re taking time off you can just file it. You don’t need to tell me.”
“It’s not vacation. A mission came down from headquarters.”
Everyone with the Taira surname who worked inside the group frequently received separate missions, so Sinoe Misano nodded in understanding. Most employees showed consideration when headquarters issued an order. For reference, Yukiko had already processed Mimata Chieri’s sick leave using the excuse of a traffic accident.
“Headquarters business, then. I’ll log it as a business trip.”
“Thank you.”
“If you’re thankful… shall we go one more round?”
We had done it face-to-face earlier, so this time Sinoe Misano turned around, pushed her ass toward me, and spread herself open. Hah… shaking her hips so shamelessly for another man! Looks like I’d have to discipline her properly with my cock.

“Junior~! Oh, should I call you Director now?”
Even after I’d learned her true identity, Mimata Chieri’s bright personality remained unchanged. She had made a full recovery in just three days. I possessed regeneration myself, yet her recovery speed was still impressive. I had brought four agents for this operation, but they were all wearing bizarre cyberpunk-style masks or helmets that made it impossible to tell them apart.
They were probably the Taira Group’s infamous execution unit—the rumored Faceless Squad, or Mumentai.
“Call me whatever you like. This should be the last mission we work together on anyway, right?”
“The Chairman said he’d give you three more missions. I’d like to be part of those as well.”
Oh, right. I still had three quests left. Taira Danjo had promised to provide a suitable woman to act as the nominal president of my PMC, but it seemed they were still searching. Or perhaps…
“Senior.”
“Yes, Junior!”
It looked like Mimata Chieri had decided to keep using the same title she’d always used.
“Do you happen to hold a military logistics procurement engineer license?”
“Yes, I do. How did you know?”
“What about an advanced private military company management license?”
“Yes~!”
Hmm… She probably had several more, but I stopped asking. The certificates I’d just mentioned were required only for someone who would become the actual owner of a PMC. It seemed Mimata Chieri was going to be my secretary after all. My gut told me that was the plan.
“Then I’ll explain how we’ll proceed.”
“….”
The helmeted Mumentai agents silently stepped closer the moment I said I would explain. Could they not speak? Fascinating. I gave the entire assembled team a full briefing on the operation.
