A Heated Showdown with the Brazen Beauty
"Is there anything else you need, sir?"
Just moments ago, we'd been growling at each other like wild animals, but the second people started moving again, she flipped her attitude on a dime. It was so ridiculous I couldn't help but laugh.
"Whoa, Shin Juyeon. So there really are service workers like you out there. Impressive."
"What do you mean by that, sir?"
She spat it out with a beaming smile, grinning like a pro. Just seconds ago, she'd been glaring at me like she didn't know the meaning of the word "smile." And this notification—was it only visible to me? How did she switch up so fast the moment time resumed? No way she couldn't see it too.
"This alert window?"
"So, what's your name?"
"My name is Shin Juyeon, sir."
Ugh, that fake-ass politeness. Totally unbearable. And the subtle expression in her eyes? Get the hell out.
"Give me your number. Gotta have that if we're gonna meet up, right? You want to see me, don't you?"
I deliberately picked words designed to rile her up. Her smile faltered for a split second—I could see it. Grinning triumphantly at her cracked facade, I held out my hand like I expected her to hand over her phone. She did, eyes flashing.
"I've already called you, so just save it."
I handed the phone back with a wink and a nod. "Thanks, miss." Then I headed straight to my room.
This whole bizarre exchange had netted me her number in the weirdest way possible.
Lying on the hotel bed, I pondered the gains from all this.
"Gains? Obviously, breaking that woman and fucking her senseless."
No point agonizing over it. The power was already off, and I couldn't rewind time anyway.
"Well, technically, I could still use the Time Machine for that."
If I jumped back to the past outright, it'd all be undone. I had no idea how timelines flowed, but in the one I rewound, Shin Juyeon's memories of me wouldn't stick around. "Not that I'm scared or anything."
Even if she tried reporting it, she had no evidence. "Whatever, it's fine."
I decided not to sweat it. If I'd really wanted to rewind that badly, using Regression from the start would've been easier. People would just think it was all good vibes. Fine by me.
A few meetups with some subtle exposure play, and who knows? She might end up trained, writhing at my feet. "Or go full sweet and gentle?"
Capture her from angles beyond just sex appeal. Like with Yoonah—no reason it couldn't work there too.
Of course, Yoonah was a special case, but still. Didn't even a goddess like her fall head over heels for my charm? People's attractions vary, so picking the right ones to show could work wonders.
And if I maneuvered it so she ended up begging me for sex—the one who'd rejected it at first? That'd be the ultimate jackpot.
"Fuck, that's hot as hell."
Yeah, that's true domination. Or freeze time and tease her bit by bit until her body remembers on its own. Plenty of options. I could layer them too.
My motto: Never dodge a fight you've picked.
"No running. Hit back hard."
She was probably thinking the same—hoping I'd kneel first, beg forgiveness sincerely. But nah. "My knees aren't that cheap."
"Anyway, tomorrow's move first."
Come to think of it, I hadn't gotten any alerts lately about power enhancements or proficiency ups. On a whim, I checked my proficiency.
37.5%. Felt like staring at a thermometer with a slight fever.
"Hmm, kinda ambiguous."
I'd thought I'd racked up plenty of sex lately, but it was creeping up so slowly. Kinda frustrating. Pretty sure it was like this early on too.
At some point, I stopped checking regularly, and it'd inch up when I did. So I hadn't worried much.
"Guess I need some fresh approaches. This situation might be the perfect chance to figure it out."
Time to get proactive with the powers. Starting with training my own body might be the best bet.
"Never tried anything like that before."
Up till now, it was all about stopping time to grope, humiliate, pleasure, or designate targets for sex. Makes sense it plateaued.
"This is the real new trial."
If it still doesn't budge after this, it's not my problem. Right, Chronos?
Of course, no reply came back.
