Nude Bus Tour
As the photo tour of the famous trees wrapped up, lunchtime arrived right on cue. A full hour of free time had been announced, so Yoonah and I put our heads together, pondering where to go.
"There's a famous restaurant around here, but I wonder if it'll be too crowded?"
"It's off-season, so it should be fine, right?"
We decided to check it out anyway. Luckily, Gijun and the guide tagged along with us. And wouldn't you know it, that crazy bitch was heading to the same place, trailing silently behind without a word.
"If I'd known, I should've made a reservation in advance."
"Nah, you were busy snapping photos and escorting everyone around. No way you could've."
Thankfully, the place wasn't packed. The staff said we'd have to wait about ten minutes. "What do you all think? Cool with that?"
"We'll wait."
"Us too."
"...Ahem. Yeah, I'll wait as well."
With everyone on board, we snapped some pics of the shop and chatted idly. The ten minutes flew by faster than expected.
Inside, the interior was impressively clean and modern. We were seated quickly, but that crazy bitch insisted on a separate table—no one tried to stop her.
"Everyone good with that menu?"
"Yeah, definitely. Ebi don it is."
Yoonah nodded along too. We all ordered ebi don, and after about fifteen minutes, the food arrived. Holy shit, the tempura shrimp were massive. The batter looked perfectly crispy...
"Gonna scrape the roof of my mouth just biting into these."
The mukbang kicked off, and damn, it was to die for. So good you immediately craved seconds. Anyone who loves shrimp tempura would be hooked.
"...Hmm. Man, this is seriously delicious, huh, Yoonah?"
"Yeah, I love this place's donburi. Gijun, you've been here before?"
"Ooh, an expert~"
They kept butting in with their comments, but now they just looked kinda pathetic. I ignored them, stood up, and headed to pay.
"I'll cover it."
"Oh, then I'll pay you back later."
"No need. Don't worry about it."
As they scrambled to chip in, insisting it was fine, I quickly settled the bill. I wasn't some broke college kid anymore—this was pocket change. Why split it?
"You really didn't have to."
"It's nothing. As long as you all enjoyed it."
I grinned, sharing a bro moment with the guys. Yoonah stood by smiling too.
The four of us moved on, snapping pics here and there. The guide gave us pointers on spots even though it wasn't on the itinerary. Getting chummy like this was a nice bonus.
"Time's winding down—want to grab some coffee before heading back?"
"Coffee's on me."
"Come on, you already played photographer, Gijun. Let me get this!"
Gijun whipped out his wallet with a determined look, cracking everyone up.
"Well, in that case, thanks for the treat."
"I haven't done a thing but eat—feels wrong mooching like this."
Yoonah said sheepishly, and we all chimed in unison.
"Just having you here is plenty—we're grateful for that alone."
Gijun even bowed politely, sparking another round of laughter. Fans really were fans.
At the coffee shop the guide recommended, orders flew fast. The menu wasn't as endless as back in Korea, which made it easy to pick.
"Everyone just getting plain coffee? Go for lattes or something fancy—my treat!"
But they all stuck to hot coffee, leaving the buyer grumbling instead. Hilarious.
"After a meal, nothing beats something simple and clean."
Yoonah's line shut down the complaints instantly.
"Exactly right, Yoonah."
"Feel free to just call me casually."
"No way—for me, you're the eternal star! The shining idol, Yoonah forever!"
His over-the-top reverence had us all eyeing Gijun with amusement. What a character.
"Why don't we make a group chat instead?"
"Ooh, it'd be the honor of my life...!"
"Guides like me usually exchange numbers but never follow up. Not gonna happen here, right?"
"Nah, I'll be spamming you all the time."
"Bring it on."
We swapped numbers and set up the chat. No immediate need since we were all together, but still.
"By the way, that woman earlier... feels bad leaving her out because of me."
Yoonah brought up the crazy bitch.
"She's the one who fucked up. What're you gonna do?"
If she'd just apologized upfront for being starstruck, we might've let it slide. Yoonah was used to this crap anyway, and honestly, it worked out better this way for her. But picking fights nonstop, oblivious to her own faults while blaming everyone else? Her bad.
