Gym Girl Private PT (2)
I usually don't get hangovers no matter how much I drink, but the moment I came to my senses, my head started throbbing like it was going to split open. The place reeked of booze.
"Whoa, fuck... First time since my twenties?"
I couldn't remember if I'd blacked out midway or how I'd even gotten home—everything after a certain point was a blank. Looking around, it was definitely my house, and it didn't seem like I'd done anything stupid... but there were my friends sprawled out on the floor, tangled up in a heap, dead to the world.
"Hey, hey. Wake up."
I shook them, but the three idiots who'd been drinking with me wouldn't budge. My head hurt even more just looking at them.
"Ah, you're up."
Among them, Hanseok—the guy who'd sworn he'd bail because of exams—scratched his head and sat up.
"When the hell did you get here?"
"How much did you guys drink to end up like this? You're all trashed."
The air stank of alcohol everywhere, but not a whiff from him.
"No way... Did you drag all our asses here?"
"Guess you don't remember. Whatever, I gotta go take my exam."
"Dude, sorry, for real. Next time, I'll treat you to something expensive."
"Damn right you will—something really pricey."
I chuckled as Hanseok headed out. Letting out a sigh, I thought to myself: if it were me, I'd have left their sorry asses to rot on the street. Guy shows up during exam week, hauls us home at the crack of dawn?
Thinking about how he'd probably groaned the whole way there made my chest tighten a bit.
"Hey, you crazy bastards. Get up already!"
I turned my frustration on the other two still passed out. Kicking them lightly got them clutching their heads and sitting up at last, looking utterly pathetic.
"Ugh, what? Lemme sleep."
"Go home and nurse your hangovers, you lunatics."
"It's an hour away. You want me puking on the way?"
"Yeah, deal with it."
No matter how much I prodded the hungover slobs, they wouldn't stand. Looking around, it felt like their asses weighed a ton.
"Your butts must weigh a fucking ton."
"Like a truckload each."
"Two trucks for me."
I smacked the pathetic trio on the head and chugged the hangover remedy from the fridge. Finally, my stomach started settling.
"Ahh, that's the stuff."
"Crazy bastard, pounding that shit while we're dying."
"Gimme one too."
"Go buy your own with your money."
I slammed the fridge door and checked myself in the bathroom mirror. Hair a mess, dried food crusted around my mouth—pretty gross, but no vomit at least.
"Hmm... Can I still hit the gym like this?"
Clutching my pounding head, I debated skipping today. But it was the first day after signing up—if I bailed now, I'd probably slack off and quit after a couple half-assed tries.
"Fuck, shouldn't have drunk."
I'd sworn off booze the night before starting my gym routine, but I never planned to get this wasted. Obviously, I needed to start training today, scope out some hot chicks, and maybe score. All I could muster was a sigh.
"Let's grab some gukbap."
After downing more remedy and deciding on a late-afternoon slot—figuring there'd still be women around no matter what—I headed out. Worst case, I'd check out whoever was there and adjust tomorrow. No way the gym would be empty of girls that late.
"I've been doing pizza for hangovers lately. Not bad."
I smacked Jeong Usik upside the head for spouting that nonsense about pizza curing hangovers.
"Dude, what the hell? Koreans run on rice power, rice power! But seriously, where's that yang-guy bringing food for the cure?"
"Sigh, old-man bullshit."
I shot Jeong Usik a disdainful glare and reached for another smack, but missed this time.
"You'd know—you got wrecked twice."
We bullshitted a bit more, got an earful from the gukbap ajumma, scarfed down a steaming bowl, and stepped outside. The hangover was easing up. Nothing beats Korean gukbap.
"Alright, I'm out."
"Call me next time we drink."
"Not drinking for a while. Get lost."
I waved goodbye to the guys heading home and trudged back alone. Tried lying down for more sleep, but my head was ringing too loud—no dice.
"Just... go to the gym?"
Heading there now, I'd probably catch that hottie from before and her friends, those perky tits and asses jiggling away. But what if the booze stench made a bad impression?
Not that I was there to date—no big deal if they thought I stank. Whatever. Shower quick, throw on comfy clothes, and off to the gym.
It wasn't far; I arrived in no time.
"Oh, member-nim! Welcome. First time today, right?"
The receptionist who'd helped with the contract and tour yesterday greeted me warmly.
"Yeah, first day."
"This way first? We'll do your InBody scan."
InBody, huh. First time since my physical for enlistment.
