Possessed into "The World Is Already Under Hypnosis" (1) ~ A Certain Reader
"Fuck, this is so goddamn boring. Is this even a novel?"
He'd found another one. Trash novel. The title alone was fucking retarded. The World Is Already Under Hypnosis? The synopsis was weird, the cover was some shitty, ugly-ass drawing, and the content? A total joke. Some guy hypnotizes the whole world and goes on a rampage... Who the hell publishes this crap? Are they insane? He looked up the author of this garbage, and surprise—it was some no-talent hack who only wrote hypnosis porn. Not even worthy of being called an author. This was just trash.
"Can't let assholes like this slide. For the mental health of all readers, looks like I've gotta step in again."
Lmao. Oh, and yeah, I'm obviously a guy. Pretending to be a girl just maximizes the damage to the author. But my critique of the novel? All real. It was always a weird mess, but the author's lost their spark—impact's fading, and they're churning out characters that don't even get you hard. Might as well hiatus it.
What I hated most was the protagonist. Other hypnosis protags at least put in some effort or buildup to train their women, but this guy's setting has him brainwashing every chick from the jump. No struggle. One word, and boom—slave. Women drool just from seeing him fuck. No reason given. Not "he's hot," not strong, no epic deeds. Just "Kim Hoyoung is the best," and every character goes "Hoyoung-nim~" That's the whole novel.
"Does that even make sense? There needs to be some story for why they fall for the protag. That's what makes it a novel."
Pumped from finding a prime trash novel after so long, my hate comments weren't enough. I pulled an all-nighter spamming. Probably around 57,000. "Fuck, even after spelling it out this nice, no hiatus? Fine, time for the curse. Heh heh. Get ready, kekeke."
Maybe 'cause I poured so much passion into my masterpieces, exhaustion hit hard. Sleep crashed over me. Seriously, couldn't fight it. No biggie—just flop on the desk.
But in the dream, a weird voice spoke.
that novel?>
What the hell? Who's this?
<Answer me. Do you really think it's total garbage?>
Dunno who, but duh. Anyone can see it's trash. Why does it even exist? Beyond comprehension.
<Sigh... Why do you hate it so much?>
I said in the comments—the biggest issue is the protagonist. And zero plausibility for the women falling for him.
<Plausibility? What doesn't make sense?>
You asking 'cause you don't get it? Read the novel—no elements that'd make anyone like Kim Hoyoung. If I were a girl, I'd never fall for that guy. Not boyfriend material.
<Oh? For real? You hate guys like Kim Hoyoung?>
Yeah. Dead serious. I'm a guy anyway, just hypothetically "if I were a girl."
<What? But your comments said you were a girl... Oh shit, awkward.>
What? Who the fuck are you?
<Eh, doesn't matter. Can just TS you into a girl. Might be hotter that way.>
TS? I hate gender-bender stuff.
<Perfect then. Anyway, you gotta own your words.>
?? Own?
<Meet Kim Hoyoung in person. If you still hate him, I'll hiatus the novel and send you back to your world. Your choice.>
Meet Kim Hoyoung? Hiatus? What bullshit is this? Is this even a dream?
"The World Is Already Under Hypnosis.">
What the fuck? Into that retarded-ass world with no demon lords or heroes or isekai bullshit?
<Isekai exists... Demon lord and hero too.>
Fuck, that Bianca bitch or whatever? That's not isekai, just Kim Hoyoung's sex toy.
<Tch. Whatever... Possession commencing. You decided. Oh, but... if you really hate it, I'll send you back.>
I hate it already.
<Not now. I'll talk later. Decide after meeting him. If your mind doesn't change, I'll really hiatus it.>
What the... Your speech—wait, you're the au—
"—thor, aren't you!!"
And I got possessed. Into a busty, smiling girl.
—Fuck.
"Where the hell am I? I was in my room posting comments, then passed out...?"
Unfamiliar intersection. Unfamiliar buildings. Unfamiliar area. But signs in Korean, so probably still Korea. Check the signs—rule number one. Should tell me where I am.
"Nakwon Station... Paengchang-dong Square...? Fuck."
No such places in Korea, as far as I know. But not totally unfamiliar. Main stage of that novel I trashed.
So the dream voice... wasn't a hallucination. It was real?
"Fuck..."
My voice came out high and thin. Not mine. A girl's voice.
"TS... she wasn't kidding. No fucking way! I'm a girl?!"
Perky tits. Plump ass. Skirt I'd never worn. Tight bra squeezing me. Ah... yeah, I'm a girl now.
Instinctively patted pockets. Phone, check. Everyone carries one. Laughably, I opened the camera in selfie mode to see my face.
"...Pretty. Wow, cute as hell? Cute enough I'd date her."
Lucky or unlucky, I possessed a cute girl who'd probably have fans. Kinda thrilled in this mess. Better than ugly, right? Go big or go home.
'Okay... let's sort this. Seems I got isekai'd into The World Is Already Under Hypnosis. As a girl, TS'd. Location: Nakwon Station, novel's turf. Don't even know my name.'
Suddenly thought—maybe phone has info. Scanned messages. Looks like my name's Han Seungyeon.
Haha. Had to sleuth my own name. What a clusterfuck.
'If this were fantasy, I'd meet a king or hero to advance the plot. But here? Just normal Korea except everyone brainwashed by Kim Hoyoung. What the hell am I supposed to do?'
This fucking retarded author wrote such shit, their dick must be tiny as a shriveled bean. All 'cause I trashed it? TS'd me into a girl?
Wait... She said if I hate it, send me back?
"I hate this world."
"............"
—Silence. Nothing. Nearby people glance like I'm nuts. Embarrassing. Feels too real, even knowing it's a novel world. Like I just dropped into some unknown city called Nakwon.
...And this fucker said they'd send me back, but crickets. What now?
'First, leave Paradise City for somewhere familiar. If it's Korea, bus to my hometown? Might find my house, family...'
Yeah, wanna see family. Least wanna see? Kim Hoyoung. But even if some god bullshit makes me meet that prick, I won't fall like the novel girls. I know he's using hypnosis. No way I'd fall. I'm just a guy reader who wants home. Trashed the novel but read every chapter. Worldbuilding? Nailed it. No way I'd fail in Kim Hoyoung's world. I'll get home. And sue that author bitch.
