Serina Becomes Lily's Servant
As soon as she stepped through the door, Serina marched straight into the kitchen and scooped up an entire bowl of salt. I rushed over, alarmed. “Serina, what are you doing…?” But trying to stop an enraged witch was pointless. She plunged her hand into the bowl and grabbed a fistful.
“Reveal yourself, you lewd bitch!”
“What are you even doing…!”
“What does it look like, you bitch? I said reveal yourself!”
Serina scooped another handful from the basket and hurled it directly into Lily’s face.
“Puuu… ptui! Ptui!” Lily spat out the salt that had gotten into her mouth, her face twisted in discomfort.
“Serina, stop it!”
“Just wait. I’m going to prove this bitch is a demon.”
“There’s no change at all.”
“That can’t be right. Just wait.”
Serina stubbornly kept scooping and flinging salt. Soon the basket was completely empty.
“Huh…? Why isn’t she changing?” Serina looked genuinely flustered.
“See, Serina? I told you it was all a misunderstanding.”
“No. That’s impossible.”
“Serina. You remember the promise you made earlier, right?”
“No way. Just wait a little longer.”
Serina stormed back to the kitchen and refilled the bowl with more salt.
“Serina, this is pointless. Stop it already. Do you have any idea how expensive salt is?”
“The price isn’t the problem. It’s because there wasn’t enough.”
“H-Hero, please stop her. Witch, why are you doing this to me? You’ve been at it since you walked in…”
“Shut your mouth, you clam bitch. Your breath reeks of cum.”
Serina mercilessly dumped the fresh load of salt over Lily. Even completely covered in it, Lily showed no outward change whatsoever.
“Why… why isn’t it working? This is strange.”
“Serina, seriously, stop. You can see it for yourself. You were wrong.”
“Ugh… this can’t be happening.”
Serina’s pupils trembled. She clearly realized something had gone terribly wrong. All she could do was anxiously bite her nails.
“Apologize right now. And don’t forget your promise to become Lily’s servant. No taking back your words.”
“…N-no. This bitch must have pulled some kind of trick.”
“Hero… you don’t have to accept her apology. As long as the witch clears up her misunderstanding about me, I don’t care what happens… hic…”
Lily lowered her head, tears spilling down her cheeks.
“No, she absolutely should apologize. The witch isn’t a bad person. Maybe she’s just on her period or something.”
“If that’s the case, we women should understand each other. If the hero insists, then… I suppose I should accept the apology?”
Lily pretended to give in and adjusted her posture, ready to receive Serina’s apology.
“Serina, apologize like you promised.”
“…”
“Serina.”
The moment Serina’s face stiffened, the corner of Lily’s mouth curled upward. A smirk. Serina saw it clearly—the mocking twist of those lips.
“Hurry up, Serina.”
“You goddamn bitch…”
“Serina.”
“…I misunderstood.”
Serina forced the apology through gritted teeth.
“Serina. Say it with feeling. ‘I’m sorry, Lady Lily.’”
“What?”
“You promised. Do it properly.”
“Ha…”
“Are you going to break your word?”
“I’m… sorry.”
Serina spat out the apology, but her tone dripped with sarcasm. I could tell she didn’t like it one bit.
“Say it right. Include ‘Lady Lily.’”
“Ah, come on! This should be enough!”
“Lord Allen… it’s fine. This is more than enough…”
“Lady Lily… I’ll apologize on her behalf. The witch isn’t very good at saying sorry. Please understand.”
“It’s all right. I’ve heard witches are supposed to be evil by nature… so an apology like this must have taken tremendous resolve.”
“Lady Lily really is broad-minded. For her to come this far shows how much she’s softened.”
“Yes… Lord Allen, you must have suffered so much…”
“It really has been tough…”
Watching the exchange, Serina was literally grinding her teeth. But there was nothing she could do about it.
“If the witch is going to be my servant… what should I call her…?”
“You can just call her Serina.”
“Serina… Lady Serina, my throat is dry. Could you fetch me some water…?”
“Lady Lily, you can drop the ‘lady’ and just call me Serina.”
“Is… is that really okay? I feel bad asking…”
Lily looked like she was having the time of her life. Her face tried to appear apologetic, but the corners of her mouth kept twitching upward. Her voice cracked here and there as she fought back laughter.
“Disgusting bitch. Why the hell should I get water for you?”
“You promised, remember?”
“What promise?”
“I just said it. Are you pretending not to understand? Go get the water.”
“You’re seriously making me do this? It’s a joke, right?”
“Ha… So you never planned to keep your word from the start?”
“No, I just didn’t think you were actually serious.”
“…Serina, let’s just stop this here—”
“Ah, fine! I’ll do it! I was just about to. Water, right? I just have to bring it.”
When I gave her a look full of disappointment, Serina hurriedly grabbed the kettle from the table and poured water into a cup.
“Drink it, you bitch.”
“Thank you… Serina.”
Lily accepted the cup with trembling hands and took a sip.
“Look at her. Check out that detailed hand-shaking act.”
“Why are you so obsessed with tearing Lily apart…?”
“Because I can see straight through her acting.”
“Where exactly do you see acting? She couldn’t even lift her hands properly until just now.”
“I get it. Just stop.”
“Cough… cough… I’ve been bedridden for days. I want to wash… Could you wash me, Serina…?”
“Look at her pushing it. Are you crazy? Why would I wash you?”
“Huu… Serina. The promise.”
I looked at her and let out a long sigh.
“Allen!!” Serina’s face was the picture of injustice.
“Serina…”
I was too exhausted to argue anymore. I simply called her name in a low, tired voice.
“Fine. I’ll wash her.”
Serina stomped off toward the bathroom, each footstep loud and resentful.
“You’re not seriously going to make me boil the water too, are you?” she asked, glancing back.
“I’ll handle that.”
It was the biggest concession I could make. The idea of that foul-mouthed witch washing Lily was already enough to make me faint. She looked like she’d rather slit Lily’s throat. I felt bad pushing the boiling water on her too, so I went outside to take care of it myself.
After I stepped out of the house…
“You fucking bitch. Isn’t this enough already?” Serina snarled at Lily.
“Hehe. What’s wrong? Getting scared?”
“Before I rip those tits off, tone it down.”
“No thanks. I’m not leaving until I’ve sucked every last drop of Allen’s lust dry!”
Lily finally burst out laughing. She showed no sign of stopping her mockery.
“Keep this up and you might actually get erased, you know? No matter how God designed it, nothing is truly absolute.”
“You’d ignore even God’s authority? Your own fate won’t allow that.”
“Fate, my ass. Just remember that if I really lose it, I might do it anyway.”
“So you don’t have any confidence after all.”
“I do have confidence. I’m a witch.”
“And I’m Lilith. I’m nothing like a love-starved little girl like you.”
“Love-starved? You’ve said enough.”
Lilith kept needling the witch without mercy.
“Ignorant bitch. All you know is brute force. I’m confident I can get sticky with him in three days. You can’t, can you? From the looks of it, nothing’s happened between you two so far, huh?”
“Three days? Allen isn’t like other males. And it’s not that we couldn’t—it’s because we’re aiming for something platonic. We’re cherishing each other, you could say.”
“Bullshit. Eros is probably laughing his ass off in heaven. Be honest. It’s because you have zero sex appeal.”
“That’s not it. Allen has already fallen for me.”
“Oh really? Want to bet? Whether Allen sleeps with me within three days or not.”
“Crazy bitch. You always go straight for bets.”
“If you don’t want to, forget it, you ignorant slut.”
“Fine, you bitch. If nothing happens in three days, get the hell out of here. You filthy rag.”
“Hehehe. Good. But if I win, you’re the one who leaves.”
“You have no idea what kind of man Allen is.”
“Just stay out of my way.”
While they were busy bickering, I came back inside.
“Serina. The water’s ready.”
“Uh… yeah! Allen, just prepare a towel for me.”
“Got it.”
I went into the other room, gathered some towels and simple clothes, and handed them over.
“Serina… it’ll be okay if I wait outside, right…?”
“Of course. Right, Lily?”
“Mhm. Obviously, Serina.”
I looked back and forth between them, utterly confused.
When did these two start talking so casually…? Lady Lily, are you really okay with this?
“Yes, of course. Serina and I cleared everything up through conversation. Right… Serina?”
“That’s right. We’re close now… haha… I’ll wash you squeaky clean. Every single nook and cranny until you’re fresh as a daisy.”
I was suspicious, but I told myself it was a good thing they were getting along.
“I knew you two would become friends! Serina might seem prickly, but she’s actually really cute.”
“Allen, hurry up and get out. We need to take our clothes off.”
“Uh… right. I’ll be outside then. Maybe I’ll make some stew.”
“Yeah. Go on, get out.”
Serina practically shoved me through the door.
Once we were alone, Serina and Lily headed into the bathroom.
“Oh…?” Serina’s eyes slowly traced Lily’s body. The figure of Lilith, the first woman, was so alluring it could even tempt a witch.
“What? Jealous?”
“Hmph. It’s not bad.”
“Of course it isn’t. Becoming a symbol of fertility isn’t something that happens easily, little witch.”
“Still, your body lines can’t compare to mine.”
Serina arched her back, thrusting her hips out to show off her own curves right in front of Lilith. Her pretty pink nipples stood out prominently.
“I’ll give you that one. It suits the body of the shining one.”
“Heh… Anyway, you can wash yourself. The thought of washing you makes me sick.”
“I never asked you to.”
Serina climbed into the tub first. Lilith hesitated, unsure whether to follow.
“You like it when I come in?”
“Don’t come in.”
“I’m coming in, you rude bitch.”
“Hmph.”
The two of them soaked in the tub in complete silence. Eventually Lilith broke it first.
“Hey, rude bitch.”
“What, you yellow whore.”
“Don’t use those words.”
“…What do you want?”
“Even if you achieve complete form, are you still going to follow the path of fate?”
“I’m still thinking about it.”
“If you don’t want to, just give up. I’ve seen plenty of girls like you.”
“Why are you suddenly giving me advice?”
“Because I feel sorry for you.”
“Mind your own business.”
“The great witch will do whatever she wants, but deciding after you’ve already become complete will be too late.”
“Whatever.”
“Fine, fine. When big sis gives good advice, you should just nod and say yes.”
Serina’s expression grew complicated as she listened to Lilith. She couldn’t hide the turmoil on her face. Her brow was deeply furrowed. Lilith asked her one more time.
“By the way, have you chosen your priestess yet?”
“No.”
“You don’t even have one picked out?”
“Nope.”
“You really are a hopeless child. Do you even plan on becoming complete?”
Lilith looked at her with open pity.
“Ugh, stop… What does it matter to you?”
“If you really are someone who will walk the path of fate, you’ll bring enormous chaos. I need to prepare myself too.”
“…I’m already confused enough, so just stop talking. It’s too much.”
“Tsk… All right, let’s leave it at that.”
After hearing Lilith out, Serina flailed her legs in frustration, splashing water everywhere. Some of it hit Lilith’s face. Lilith wiped it away with her palm, irritation clear on her features. But she didn’t say anything else to provoke Serina.
