The girl needed to have some ambition. I opened the door and stepped into Lora’s room. There was no sign of the owner. She had already slipped into the VR capsule. The only sound came from the PC linked to it, humming quietly. The monitor glowed brightly, and right in front of it sat the microphone, positioned as though it belonged there. Rion let out a long sigh and sank into the chair.

Rion exhaled heavily. She had come all this way, but was this really the right move…? Still, she couldn’t just leave things like this. She would say what needed to be said and get out quickly. That was the plan.

Rion moved the mouse. Because the PC was synced with the VR capsule, she could control the stream layout from her side as well.

Rion waited a moment longer, but Lora only calmly picked Berserker. That was when it finally hit her.

Come to think of it, wanting Lora to succeed as a VTuber had been Rion’s wish alone. Lora was the type of person who loved gaming far more than eating three square meals a day! She had only become a VTuber because she wanted to play games…!

The sudden thought rang painfully true. Any other VTuber would crave popularity, but that desire simply did not exist in Lora. She probably thought something like, “Even if I took a shit in the middle of the street, wouldn’t I still gain followers?” The scary part was that it sounded entirely plausible. With a face that absurdly beautiful, she really might attract fans even while squatting on the sidewalk…! But VTubers were supposed to hide their faces… Her voice was undeniably lovely, yet right now the viewers had no idea who Aurora actually was. If you grabbed any random person and asked, they would definitely remember her as “that thug who throws punches.”

The most maddening thing was how utterly unconcerned Lora remained. Rion couldn’t understand why she herself had to feel this sense of crisis when the person in question clearly didn’t. With no other choice, Rion grabbed the microphone.
“Sister Lora is a villainess lady who was exiled from a ducal house…. And here are the hashtags……”
She adjusted the game screen to create space at the bottom and right side. After neatly placing Lora’s avatar model in the lower right, she began displaying the hashtags one by one in the lower left.

While keeping an eye on the game, she alternated between displaying the profile picture and the schedule whenever it looked like no team fights were about to break out. At this point it was hard to tell whose stream this even was.

They squeezed so hard her ears hurt, but right now that clear physical pain felt easier to understand. Heartache had no definite shape, after all.
