A Torment Far Too Mild
That was a bit...
For some reason, the day felt fresher than usual.
The first thing that met Elise’s eyes the moment she opened them was Yeon sprawled across the bed, barely managing to breathe. At the sight of Yeon lying limp and steeped in exhaustion, Elise’s eyebrows twitched ever so slightly.
“Haa… Why do you look more tired than me? I’m the one who suffered through all that cleaning.”
Elise muttered toward Yeon in an irritated voice. Yeon, however, didn’t so much as stir, only mumbling from beneath the covers.
“It’s noisy. Get lost.”
The unkind, cold reply left Elise momentarily speechless. She let out a sigh. Sharing a room with this woman really was the absolute worst. Yet Elise was in no position to treat her carelessly right now.
“Aren’t you going to class? It’s about to start.”
Yeon kept her eyes closed, answering in a languid, thoroughly annoyed tone.
“I’m skipping.”
Elise shook her head.
How the hell did she even pass the Academy’s infamous personality evaluation?
She still couldn’t wrap her head around the fact that a woman this twisted—someone who blackmailed people—had somehow been accepted. Elise herself wasn’t exactly a saint, but looking at Yeon made her fundamentally question the standards of that test.
With a short sigh, Elise shook her head and cast the thought aside. Worrying about it now would change nothing. She no longer felt like dealing with her at all.
She rose, left the bed, and headed for the bathroom. Just as she was about to splash cold water on her face, her gaze locked onto the drain.
A small but unmistakable bloodstain remained. Elise’s expression hardened into something cold.
She slowly turned her eyes back to Yeon, still sprawled lifelessly in the room. What could have happened while she was asleep?
“This is… blood?”
Elise frowned, carefully examining the trace. It definitely hadn’t been there last night.
“Don’t tell me… you did something weird while I was sleeping?”
Deep suspicion began to frost over her eyes.
Everyone’s had that kind of experience, right?
Um…
So…
I mostly just rewatched the things that matched my tastes. If it didn’t fit, it simply wasn’t fun. But if you keep watching the same thing over and over, you eventually get bored of it.
Now imagine one day you happen to discover something that matches your tastes perfectly—and the content itself is fresh and special on top of that.
Like staring at the same scenery forever, only to suddenly come face to face with the beautiful landscape of an entirely new world.
Yes.
It’s about scenery. Pure scenery talk.
Anyway…
The emotion and excitement of that moment are so intense that for a while, nothing else can catch your eye.
The curse Elise had been under was far more powerful than I’d expected. Enough to refill me all night long and still leave some to spare.
Fortunately… no, unfortunately, Elise’s curse hadn’t completely disappeared. Still, by repeatedly touching it and getting cursed, I could feel it gradually weakening.
I have no choice… hehe.
Really, I have no choice but to stick right next to her and keep relieving the curse. Of course, for Elise’s sake. No other meaning whatsoever.
Haa… I shouldn’t have gone that far.
The feeling of my brain throbbing and breaking apart was just too good… I couldn’t hold back. I slipped into the bathroom and did some “training.” Thanks to that, I had a hell of a time quietly cleaning the blood-soaked bathroom so Elise wouldn’t wake up.
I lightly skipped morning classes and slept soundly, yet the fatigue in my body still refused to fade.
If only it converted fatigue into pleasure too…
Skipping lunch, I stepped into the classroom to prepare for afternoon lessons—and the pitiful state of my desk immediately caught my eye. It was filthy with every kind of filth and trash, the surface scrawled with insulting words.
Whore who goes around servicing monsters.
Slut.
Please just die already.
Even your breathing is disgusting.
Hmm…
Is this all they can write?
A little disappointing.
In a situation like this, my heart should be pounding madly, my whole body should be burning hot, and I should be drowning in ecstasy… that would be normal. Yet for some reason, that sensation was far too weak today.
Haa… something’s lacking.
I recalled last night—the moment my body had been forcibly dominated by the curse. That thrilling helplessness of being tossed around regardless of my will. The extreme pleasure of mind and body being shattered by force. Compared to that, this kind of insult was far too trivial.
Having tasted that sweet sensation, ordinary harassment now felt endlessly bland and pathetic.
Contemptuous laughter directed at me drifted from the surroundings.
“Hey. Look at her. She’s frozen like an idiot, can’t even snap out of it.”
“Disgusting. Why do we even keep something like that in the Academy?”
Even their mockery failed to properly reach my ears today.
Just then the classroom door was roughly thrown open, and the students from Camilla’s faction who had harassed me before stood in front of me.
“Yeon Bennet. The young lady is looking for you.”
Their hands roughly seized me like a criminal. Those hands weren’t bad… but even as I was dragged away without resistance, my mind kept replaying the sensations of last night.
I’m looking forward to it, Camilla.
Dragged along by Camilla’s followers, I finally came face to face with her. Camilla took in my haggard appearance and smiled faintly. Looking at that expression, my heart began to pound with anticipation.
Vivid red hair like a crimson rose flowed elegantly over her shoulders. Her ruby-like eyes always shone beautifully, and behind that delicate, lovely face a colder aura than anyone else’s quietly flowed. Not the way she used to look down on me with icy indifference, but this arrogant smile full of superiority—exactly like now.
My twisted nature reacted with pure joy, as if it had been waiting for every one of these humiliating moments.
“Long time no see, Yeon. Anything happen?”
Cunning mockery and contempt hid beneath her affectionate voice. The surrounding followers understood her intent perfectly and snickered at me under their breath.
A little lacking.
I deliberately glared at her with murderous intent—as if I truly hated her.
“Your face doesn’t look good. Looks like you’ve been having a hard time.”
Camilla gazed down at me with feigned concern.
“None of your business.”
My lips spat cold words, yet my heart was already overflowing with anticipation for whatever she would do or say next.
Camilla looked down at me with a lofty smile. That smile clearly pretended goodwill, yet it was laced with unmistakable contempt and disgust.
“If you quietly listen to my demands, I won’t harass you anymore.”
She stepped a little closer, lowering her voice as though offering a secret proposal.
“No—beyond that, I could even make it so no one touches you the way they used to.”
Then Camilla slowly sat in a chair and stretched her smooth, pure-white bare foot out in front of me. Wiggling her toes, she continued with a mocking lilt.
“First, try licking my foot or something and act cute. If you put on some charm with that pretty face of yours, I might actually feel like helping you.”
In that instant my heart began to pound madly.
This is it!
The Camilla I had been waiting for. A sadistic character who stood on the side of justice, yet mercilessly cast into the abyss anyone she judged an enemy.
“Honestly, having that dirty mouth of yours—the one that always sucks on monsters—touch my noble foot feels like a loss, but I’m specially allowing it just this once.”
Every nerve in my body stood on end. This insulting, shameful situation perfectly stimulated my instincts. A mad impulse wrapped around me, and the desire to prostrate myself before that foot and humiliatingly press my tongue to it completely dominated my mind.
But…
There was a trap in that proposal. An enormously big trap.
If I kissed Camilla’s foot, that moment alone would feel incredibly good. However… not harassing me anymore, and making it so no one touches me like before.
I haven’t even properly enjoyed it yet.
This Academy had exactly this problem. Because they were basically good kids, they didn’t easily try to cross the line even with a villainess like me. Looks like, as a villainess, I needed to teach them a thing or two.
I slowly lifted the corners of my mouth and spoke to Camilla with open mockery.
“Your bullying, honestly, was way too boring.”
In that instant Camilla’s eyes froze with bewilderment and anger.
“What?”
“I never thought it would be this uninteresting.”
That expression was so cute that I raised the corners of my mouth even more provocatively, suppressing my excitement.
“At the very least, tying up my arms and legs and slowly peeling my skin with a dagger… or dunking my face in water until I’m just about to stop breathing… or secretly feeding me poison and watching my organs fail one by one for fun… or cutting off my fingers one by one while I sleep, wrapping them prettily, and sending them back as a gift—any of those would have been fine too.”
Just imagining it, I felt my whole body heat up. These were the fantasies that had long sat on my personal bucket list.
I’ve kindly told you this much, so now you’ll do it properly, right?
I waited for Camilla’s reaction, full of anticipation.
……Huh?
Camilla was staring at me with her red eyes wide open. Fear and confusion tangled across her face. After a short but suffocating silence, she barely composed her expression and spat out sharply.
“You crazy piece of trash. Get out of my sight right now.”
What…? Why?
I desperately hid my disappointment and coldly lifted the corners of my mouth.
“Hmph. Talking big when you can’t even do it properly.”
When I muttered it with a subtle sneer, I felt Camilla flinch slightly. I didn’t look back at her again. Turning my back as leisurely as I could manage, I left the place.
Haa… I should have just done as she asked…
