Prologue: An Utterly Clichéd Story
It was the most clichéd tale imaginable. The crown prince fiancé falls for a girl from some rural backwater. Desperate for his attention, the fiancée turns full-blown villainess. The guard knight shoulders her crimes and meets the executioner's axe. The guard knight regresses. But then the villainess regresses too. And wouldn't you know it—the guard knight had been head over heels for her all along.
Such an utterly clichéd story—
"What're you making today?"
"Dubai crunchy sablé."
"Makgeolli too, please."
"Hey..."
—but still.
The guard knight was protecting the villainess's disguise today, as always.
