The Devil Enjoys
Originally the daily necessities I possessed filled one entire cart, with enough food for two more carts on top of that.
Even after Woohee died, the supplies I had taken from her base remained intact.
Add to that the goods I had been about to deliver to An Suhyeon’s group.
Combined, the two caches were more than enough for the Ecological Park side. No—they overflowed.
It was already past mid-May, the point where I had begun catching up to the present (past) timeline.
Having just succeeded in tightening my grip on a new woman, I stayed in the vicinity for a while.
I did not think it likely, but if there was any chance of betrayal it was important to keep a close watch on the aftermath from nearby.
At the same time I made occasional trips over to Seol-hwa’s or Soyeon’s place.
Even those visits never lasted more than a day, yet both of them kept asking me to stay longer.
Seol-hwa, bored out of her mind, kept pestering me to go out whenever I showed up.
A date, when zombies could come bursting out at any moment? Bold of her. Her personality was so aggressive that her demands were just as intense.
Soyeon was at least more demure, but she got just as restless.
So after sex we often ended up talking for a long time.
I got scolded, of course. In any case the time I spent at my women’s houses kept shrinking as I focused everything here.
I continued corrupting Cha Yejin so that the kind of danger that had almost happened last time would never arise again. I listened to Yu Mun-il’s reports and carefully watched how the situation developed.
The Konkuk University side had been occupied and was currently reorganizing; for now they and the Grand Park side were exchanging contact and feeling each other out. That was everything so far.
How would Konkuk University move next?
What should I do to turn a profit? Should I try making contact while they were still busy reorganizing?
No. These were the same bastards who had hidden their guns and then pulled them out again. Far too dangerous.
There was always the risk of catching a sudden bullet.
Anyway, one of the three factions had already collapsed, so it simply became a fight between Grand Park and Ttukseom.
If they fought, which side would I support? If they did not fight, what then?
I was not explicitly an enemy of Grand Park. If the fact that I had touched Cha Yejin ever came out, though, who knew what would happen.
“The most convenient thing would be for the two factions to merge again or become allies, but…”
Because of Cha Yejin that option was ultimately off the table.
Right now I was enjoying the novel thrill of an affair, but in the end she had to become mine alone.
Grand Park was the side carrying that potential bomb. From that angle it might actually be better if the two sides fought and I picked one to help finish the other off.
“Ah, what am I even worrying about.”
But that was only if something actually happened. Right now both sides were tense, and I was sitting in their rear base—the Ecological Park—so what was there to do?
I wanted more detailed internal news, which meant I would probably have to send one more person over to the Grand Park side.
I left the base and headed back toward the peaceful Ecological Park.
There the people working hard greeted me when they saw me coming.
“You’re here again.”
“Yes. I have to pass through Gwangjin-gu and I have no idea how things will go. I need to watch the situation. So I’ve been searching around here and there.”
“Anyway, thanks to you we can all breathe easier. Food is the most important thing, and you actually found it.”
“It’s nothing. You people have been kind to me here too. This is just repayment. Repayment.”
Because of the food I had given them while toying with Cha Yejin, none of them thought particularly badly of me.
If anything they welcomed me.
For now I would stay friendly with them and move only when the profit was greatest.
And put all my effort into training Cha Yejin.
Besides, the reason I had come today was because it was time for the mid-morning snack delivery.
“Snack time’s here!”
Someone shouted and I stood up in response as well.
Beyond them several women were pulling a cart and carrying side-dish containers.
“….”
There Cha Yejin and I locked eyes. She looked away?
But she was still the woman who would be spread under me again today.
Her steps clearly slowed, yet she could not simply not come, so she ended up distributing the food right here.
“Working hard again today.”
I spoke to her as if nothing were wrong. Cha Yejin only nodded silently.
Today’s outfit was a beige maxi skirt—a long one-piece that covered her legs completely.
Ordinary enough for an outing, yet the memory of what I had enjoyed last time flickered right in front of my eyes.
I slipped into the meal and thoroughly watched Cha Yejin.
I watched the lines of her body revealed as she served food with the others.
Unlike my other women she had not completely fallen yet, and those two usually wore comfortable clothes at home, so the charm of an outfit she had carefully chosen was considerable.
There was a reason I had sworn I would bring clothes for the girls no matter what on the sixth expedition. The moment my body started to react I immediately sang the national anthem and thought of country and people until it subsided.
“Hoo.”
I popped a simple piece of braised potato into my mouth, chewed, and let my eyes roam again.
When she bent over I could enjoy the sensual curve of her hips.
It was a slightly toned-down version of the “married-woman look” I had once described to Lee Soyeon.
Not tight, yet a single gust of wind made every line blatantly visible.
And there was the pleasure of catching the faint outline of her underwear.
Whenever she leaned forward or the wind fluttered the fabric I thoroughly savored those delightful changes.
“Everyone, enjoy your meal.”
“Thank you for the food!”
The food was distributed and the real meal began. I made appropriate small talk and let the time pass.
“Hey, when’s our Cheol-su getting married? It’s about time with Mi-yeon, isn’t it?”
“I’ll handle my own marriage, okay? Things have to get better first!”
The elders’ carpet-bombing of the thirty-something bachelor’s marriage prospects had begun.
Time to pile on.
“What, you still aren’t married? Mid-thirties—you ought to be settling down soon.”
The bachelor turned toward me.
“What about you?”
“I’m still young. Not even mid-twenties yet.”
“Wow, you’re really young.”
My actual age was twenty-two; by the two-years-later world standard I was twenty-four.
Prime of life.
Once I revealed my age people looked quite surprised. Cha Yejin’s eyes in particular went round.
“Twenty-four? Completely young, huh?”
“Does the bachelor have a girl he likes?”
“Honestly I like pretty girls, but a kind, sincere person is best.”
“That’s right, that’s right. A woman’s heart is what matters.”
Amid the aunties’ and elders’ agreement I fixed my gaze on Cha Yejin again.
Pretty, kind, and sincere. All of it applied. To you.
She must have felt my stare; Cha Yejin quickly averted her eyes.
But I wanted to see her squirm, so I poked right away.
“Isn’t there anyone like Cha Yejin? If only Yejin weren’t already married she’d be perfect.”
“Pardon?”
I was enjoying her flustered expression when an unexpected remark floated over.
“Doesn’t Yejin have a little sister? The track-and-field one.”
“That’s right. She should be over at Grand Park. Her personality’s a bit fierce, though.”
She has a sister? I immediately turned the question on Cha Yejin.
“A younger sister, Yejin?”
“Yes.”
The moment the awkward Cha Yejin confirmed it, my chest trembled as if I had discovered new prey.
A sister? If I took that sister as well… sister rice bowl!
I could actually realize the sister double that was supposed to be so hard both to do and even to see.
“How old is she?”
“Look at this guy getting interested right away. Wasn’t that kid still in high school?”
“She should be a senior this year.”
A high-schooler older than Seol-hwa. And her personality was fierce?
She passed as a replacement for Woohee.
Of course she still had to suit my taste. Everyone knows how it goes.
There are plenty of cases where the genes dump everything onto one sibling.
Amid the unexpected information the meal was ending.
The workers headed back and the aunties loaded the carts.
These people had carts of their own, so they seemed to be loading everything onto them.
I could not miss this opening. I went straight to Cha Yejin and floated the line.
“I have something to ask about Mass, Yejin. Do you have a moment?”
“Pardon?”
“Auntie! Can I borrow Yejin for a second?”
I pressed before she could refuse. That was one way to overpower a woman with an ambiguous attitude.
“Go on and talk. It’s not hard work.”
The friendship I had cultivated paid off. The aunties easily gave permission and Cha Yejin had no choice but to leave them and follow. We faced each other in a nearby villa, but our expressions were complete opposites.
I was smiling; Cha Yejin could not sit still.
“Why are you doing this? People might get suspicious.”
Anxiety filled Cha Yejin’s face.
“It’s fine. This is the first time I’ve called you like this. If I keep doing it they’ll get suspicious, sure.”
“That’s irresponsible.”
“So if we don’t want suspicion we need to decide a secret time to meet, right?”
My goal was to secure enough time to completely corrupt this married woman.
Of course we had to meet often, yet whether it was the apartment or anywhere else people were always swarming.
So the two of us had to agree on a time for our secret rendezvous in advance.
“I won’t make you come every day. For now, the day after tomorrow at one in the morning, come out in front of the apartment.”
“That’s unreasonable.”
“Sorry, but I already decided. Whenever I want it, you have to answer. Or do you want to watch everything blow up?”
As I spoke my hand naturally rose to Cha Yejin’s chest.
Then I began gently kneading her bra and the breasts beyond it.
“What are you wearing today?”
“D-don’t do this.”
“If you really refuse I’ll just take you right here. Show you off proudly in front of the aunties.”
Cha Yejin realized further resistance was useless and finally stopped rejecting my touch.
I forced her however I pleased.
I savored the same raw feeling from the early days when I had raped Lee Soyeon and Seol-hwa, and I violated this woman’s body.
Then I lightly smacked the big ass that was Cha Yejin’s strong point.
Slap.
A pleasant sound, and right after I grabbed that ass and shoved Cha Yejin against the wall.
In one breath I claimed those plump lips and began kissing her.
“Mm. Mm!”
In front of her futile attempts to push me away she tried again not to open her mouth.
So with my other hand I blatantly lifted the maxi skirt and moved toward her sex.
“Ah…”
Once more the startled Cha Yejin’s mouth opened and my tongue invaded; now my fingers began stimulating her clitoris.
Directly stimulating the erogenous zone was more effective than simply thrusting fingers inside and stirring.
Arousing the body of a married woman who already knew pleasure was as simple as breathing.
“How is it?”
When I broke the kiss a thread of saliva still linked us.
In a villa corridor no one was watching, a married woman and an outside man were kissing.
Cha Yejin did not answer; she only lowered her head in resistance.
“Not going to speak?”
“Nngh…”
At that moment my other hand slipped inside her chest and slowly stimulated her.
“From now on you’d better answer me properly.”
“Hmm! Hhhp! Haa…”
Not even a full minute had passed and already a pleasant wetness coated my fingers.
I could stimulate this married woman far more smoothly now.
“Understand?”
“I-I underst—ah! Hnngh!”
Leaving her heated body behind I ended it there for the first round.
“?”
Cha Yejin stared at me with a dazed face.
“It’s been over ten minutes. If we stay too long they’ll get suspicious, so ‘for now’ this is enough.”
I knew. Cha Yejin’s body had not yet climaxed.
I had planned to arouse her just enough and send her back, and the timing was perfect.
“The day after tomorrow at dawn. Remember it. Or if you’re lucky it might be anytime. Keep that in mind.”
“….”
Cha Yejin did not even know what expression she was making right now.
That contradictory look of simultaneous regret and relief.
I watched her back as she walked away with dazed, shuffling steps.
Sending her off while she was still unsatisfied made the next time easier.
It would become smooth lubricant for accepting me tonight.
Tomorrow at dawn? That was just a way to put her at ease. I would exploit her frustration, take her tonight, and take her again two days later.
I was that kind of liar and that kind of greedy bastard.
That night. In the quiet apartment where everyone slept, I silently climbed the stairs.
I had already memorized the password the first time I entered. Why else would I have gone inside under the pretext of Mass? I had planned this from the beginning.
It had truly been a long time—assaulting a sleeping woman. Heart pounding with excitement, I headed for the eighth floor.
