High Ground Breakthrough
A blue barrier blocks the view as the enemy team fires into the air, controlling recoil. It's like a light warm-up to check sensitivity.
Siwoo does jumping jacks in place to loosen up. Even though he moved around in the shooting range, a bit of stretching is essential to maintain that feel.
How should I approach this one?
Their composition is set.
Assault Defender – Rifle Attacker – Rifle Attacker – Standard Healer – Smoke Supporter
Whatever it takes, they're saying they'll smash through.
Both rifle attackers picking Phantom means they plan to gain the edge in close-range fights.
On the other hand.
Shield Defender – Sniper – Rifle Attacker – Sniper Healer – Shield Supporter
The sniper and healer move together, while the main squad of three defends, leveraging range advantage. As always, built around Siwoo.
The mode is point capture, alternating attack and defense.
The battlefield is Universal Center, packed with small structures that hinder attackers, perfect for sturdy defenders blocking chokepoints. But with all those gaps, it's also a sniper's playground.
That said, Universal Center isn't great for forward sniper plays pushing the frontline—especially not in large skirmishes. Too many structures and paths mean ambushes can come from anywhere.
And this opponent is Midraizer. A far cry from DX Gaming, WolfX, or Fox Gaming. Too risky for forward sniping. The downside is huge.
So, they needed to claim the second floor. With two snipers on their side, it made sense.
From up there, they could easily poke through structure gaps.
"Yong-taek hyung, let's clear the second floor together."
"Okay. We're going for second-floor control, right?"
Kim Yong-taek gets it perfectly, even from a simple statement. No dopey vibes from this guy at all.
"Where's our focus? If we're centering on the second floor, the main squad will be short-handed."
Kim Ho-jong asked.
"Second floor as the core, I think. With you and Yong-taek hyung providing support fire, we'll have the range edge anyway. We chew them down slow, then overwhelm at once."
Siwoo's game knowledge had leveled up from his rookie days.
Studying and analyzing the notes from Jiyeon had pushed him further. Now he could call shots like this.
"Okay. We'll play it slow and steady then. Chan-seong, don't push too far ahead—move on my signal."
"Got it."
"Soo-hyuk, ignore the second floor completely and stick to the main squad. Yong-taek's got it covered up there. I'll grab some blue and fall back."
"Yes."
Kim Ho-jong handled the rest. That's why having a main caller is so clutch.
Match begins!
Right then—the blue barrier vanished, opening the respawn area.
"Everyone, fighting!"
"Fighting!"
Siwoo activated Force Enhancement. Crackle! Blue electricity sparked around him, his body glowing.
To control the second floor, speed was key. First to claim it wins—like musical chairs.
Tat-tat-tat!
Siwoo and Kim Yong-taek sprinted nonstop. Leaping structures blocking paths, passing alloy walls, up the stairs.
Whoosh!
Smoke dropped from above, blanketing windows—the second-floor sniper spots.
I saw that coming.
But not enough smoke to cover the main terrace and railing. Midraizer figured windows were trickier to contest.
Siwoo pressed his in-ear firmly.
"Second floor secured."
"Copy. We're at the point, staring them down."
Both main squads in position, probing. Whichever holds the second floor takes the lead.
Which means...
We have to win this.
Click.
Siwoo racked the bolt on his Operator sniper rifle. Battle ready.
"..."
L-shaped corridor.
Siwoo hugged the wall, peeking out.
No sign of the enemy. But they're there. Kaiserst isn't the only one needing the second floor.
"Yong-taek hyung, looks like they're probing too."
"Same thought here."
Kim Yong-taek continued.
"One boosted sniper shot, and they have to bail. So they're playing cautious. What now? Want me to bait?"
Siwoo shook his head.
"Nah, I'll go."
"What? How do you frontal with a sniper?"
"Just dodge the bullets."
"...For real?"
Kim Yong-taek stared with a blank face. Siwoo smirked, activating Force.
"Heal me up good. I'll avoid headshots as much as I can."
"Hey, wait!"
"Sitting here is a stalemate. Gotta force it."
"No...!"
Normally he'd avoid bold moves, but striking first was better here. Their plan preyed on enemy gaps.
Tat-tat-tat!
Force-boosted Siwoo blazed down the hall. With primary accel buff, he covered the distance in a flash.
Lee Siwoo attempting a breakthrough?!
Rifle attackers' run-and-gun strat! A sniper making this call?!
Click!
Enemy spotted the approach and showed. Siwoo yelled urgently.
"One attacker, one supporter! Yong-taek hyung, engaging!"
"Uh, yeah!"
Kim Yong-taek exposed himself, dropping to one knee. Aimed down sights. Through the lens, Siwoo charged ahead.
Rat-tat-tat-tat!
That instant—Midraizer attacker's bullets poured in.
He's hit!
Kim Yong-taek's aim snapped to Siwoo. As long as no headshot streak, heals could hold.
But.
As bullets swarmed, Siwoo's ankle twisted smoothly. His body rotated sideways, effortlessly flicking them away.
Lee Siwoo casually flicks the bullets!
He kept charging.
Kim Yong-taek was speechless at the absurd sight.
...That guy's nuts. Every time.
Teammate or not, mind-blowing mechanics.
But the judgment was even wilder.
Screech!
Siwoo slid smoothly after the sidestep. Hit the wall, killing momentum. Ready to fire.
Click.
Shoulder stocked.
Siwoo's body glowed blue.
Force Enhancement round.
Bang!
The trigger pulled. A horizon-straight bullet pierced the enemy attacker's head.
Splurt!
Insanely precise aim.
Too bad it didn't kill. Supporter's timely Force shield saved him.
"Insane...!"
Still shocking. The stunned enemy retreated fast. Midraizer supporter sprayed SMG cover fire.
Rat-tat-tat!
As bullets ripped air.
Whoosh!
Siwoo's body dissolved into blue particles. Bullets hit only afterimage.
Teleport Dash!
Siwoo tore through space, closing gap instantly, smashing the supporter's jaw with his rifle stock.
Crack!
"...!!!"
Supporter's head snapped. Concussion debuff. Avatar staggered, unresponsive. Siwoo booted his gut.
Thud!
Supporter swept the floor, looked up desperately. But Siwoo's scope was locked.
Bang!
Siwoo solos two, cuts the supporter!
Unbelievable! How does a sniper do close quarters like this!
But the fight wasn't over.
Lee Sung-taek remains! Not full HP, but enough to cut Siwoo!
Click!
Siwoo racked and reloaded fast. Force-boosted legs carried him back.
Rat-tat-tat!
Late bullets hit afterimage.
"This is...!!"
Enemy attacker Lee Sung-taek wasn't dumb. He saw the opening.
Rat-tat-tat!
Bullets sprayed. Recoil perfectly controlled. Pro earning big bucks—no panic, just rattled.
Lee Sung-taek going for Siwoo...!
But it failed.
Whoosh!
"...!!"
Kim Yong-taek's sleep dart lands on Lee Sung-taek!
Perfect Detective Conan! Full sleep!
Lee Sung-taek dropped like a cartoon character from the sleep dart.
"Nice one, Yong-taek hyung."
Siwoo smirked, scoped up. Through the lens, Lee Sung-taek snoozed peacefully.
Pulled the trigger.
Bang!
Siwoo and Kim Yong-taek clear second floor completely!
Perfect! Siwoo, how is this even possible!!
"...Hoo."
Siwoo smiled faintly, racking the bolt. Click, casing ejected, clinking to the floor.
Thump. Thump. Thump.
Heart racing.
Thrill from spine electrified his body, blood pumping, excitement unrelenting. The rush when a calculated play lands perfectly—indescribable.
But mid-match.
No time to bask.
"Second floor clear."
"We can use the whole upper level. Engage now if you want."
Siwoo and Kim Yong-taek briefed. Reply came quick.
"Okay, Chan-seong, let's go!"
Rat-tat-tat!
Brawl at point floor 1! But numbers gap is huge!
Park Chan-seong shield up?! Kim Ho-jong follows!
Midraizer stalling, but Lee Soo-hyuk's shields landing perfectly!
Then Siwoo and Kim Yong-taek's support fire rained from above.
It happens—the feared dual sniper support!
Kim Yong-taek and Lee Siwoo's snipes relentless!
Retreat!! Midraizer must fall back! No answer like this!
But Siwoo doesn't miss! Aim too precise! Kim Ho-jong pursues?!
Massacre! Ace! Midraizer wiped before point activation!
And soon.
Kaiserst easily takes the point! But second floor lost—Midraizer can't breakthrough!
Need to wait for Force drain, but Lee Soo-hyuk and Kim Yong-taek recharge Siwoo! Perfect battery!
Kaiserst held the point effortlessly.
GG! Kaiserst takes set 1!
The game ended.
