The Rotation Shot
Until now, he's only aimed for headshots for one simple reason.
It's the most efficient way to neutralize an enemy.
Hitting the head deals the most damage and throws the opponent into disarray.
After all, the head—home to the brain—is the largest vital spot that threatens human life.
That's why he's stuck to headshots all this time.
But that approach had a clear drawback.
A 100% headshot rate telegraphs his intentions from the start: he's only going for the head.
That's how Red Force's attacker read the trajectory so easily and reacted.
He knew the bullet had to come for his head anyway.
'Then.'
Siwoo lowers his scope just a fraction.
With a sharp clack, the sniper rifle chambers a round, and his finger settles on the trigger.
The target: the leg.
To bind their mobility.
Running with Force Enhancement active, the enemy's form blurs—hard to pin down. Even pouring every ounce of focus into his vision, all he sees are whipping afterimages.
But is it truly impossible to hit?
'Hmm, about that much.'
A grin.
Siwoo smiles.
He enhances the bullet with Force and fires.
Bang!
Hit! Lee Siwoo's Force-enhanced bullet pierces Kim Jinyoung's leg!
Did he go for the leg because he figured they'd parry a headshot?!
That's how it looks! No reason to switch shots out of nowhere!
Kim Jinyoung's in trouble! Leg hit drops his mobility—he needs to regroup!
Siwoo's lips curl upward.
"They'll need time to regroup. I'll keep watching and delay 'em."
"Got it! I'm almost there! If we claim position, we're golden!"
Siwoo checks the tactical map on his wrist. Ho-jong hyung's about to hit the right flank. This setup should counter their strategy perfectly.
'Here we go again.'
He presses his eye to the scope. The enemy’s still hunkered down, recovering.
But soon enough, they'll realize it.
There's no escaping the sniper.
Red Force attacker Kim Jinyoung jolts in shock.
'Not a headshot—a leg shot?'
He'd half-expected it, sure. His parry was too obvious.
But recalculating mid-motion right after the first block? Distance between them, plus his acceleration? Bullet drop factored in instantly?
'What kind of aim is this guy running?'
Hitting a leg in that scenario isn't easy. Overlant scopes aren't forgiving. That's why snipers are tough—and prized.
Yet Lee Siwoo nailed the math flawlessly, no trial and error.
On a Force-enhanced leg blurring at top speed!
'Monster aim.'
Three years surviving the league, and this stuns him. No Korean league sniper calculated that fast before.
Maybe in China or NA—the top leagues—with their billion-won contracts.
Not here, anyway.
"Recovered. What now? Their sniper's still locked on us."
Red Force's healer asks.
Kim Jinyoung scowls, peering past the wall.
"We're this far in—we gotta do something. Pulling back now's too costly."
"Looks like Diamond tactics on their side. Attacker's probably en route for backup."
"We break through somehow. That's why we brought this comp."
No options left for Red Force.
Draw the sword, you swing it. Push this far, you commit.
Retreat, and Kaiserst presses—game over without a fight.
"Signaling. Spread out and push. Just pin Kim Ho-jong. I'll delete the sniper quick."
"Roger."
Kim Jinyoung readies. Teammates Force-enhance and scatter.
And—
"Now!"
Tat-tat-tat!
Red Force scatters, Force-boosted, zigzagging—tough to track.
Bang!
Still, the sniper flashes. Faster than expected—Force-enhanced. Kim Jinyoung's eyes widen.
Arm swings optimal path, blade follows brain's trajectory calc.
Slash!
Shortsword arcs a slash wave; bullet splits clean. Halved slug grazes both cheeks.
'Knew it.'
Can't kill with body or head? After that leg shot, next's gotta be torso or dome.
Obvious play.
Kim Jinyoung parries again! Even Force-enhanced—he reacts!
Incredible! They prepped hard!
Kim Jinyoung gets "still green" flak, but here's why he's Red Force starter two years running!
Right! Rookie season, he was OCK top-4 attacker candidate!
Kim Jinyoung's gambit.
But Siwoo doesn't flinch.
'Psych games like this don't work, huh?'
Clack. Bolt pulls, casing ejects. Siwoo smirks, re-aims.
'Prepped well, looks like.'
Sniper flaw: readable if analyzed.
But his goal's delay, not kills.
Plenty of chances in the fight ahead.
"Chan-seong hyung, back 'em up too. They're all-in on our right."
"Copy!"
Following Red Force's push, Kaiserst converges right. Straight teamfight incoming.
No parries then—they'll be swamped.
That's when it happens.
"They're clashing!"
Red Force closes in.
Holding right flank: Ho-jong hyung and Soo-hyuk hyung, cover-bound. Red Force can't rush easy.
Forced to split angles around cover.
"Chan-seong hyung's almost here. Fight if you want—I'll cover fire."
"Roger, copy!"
Siwoo's finger hovers trigger as blue Force light envelops him.
Force Enhancement.
Target window: the split-second between covers.
And...
Red Force moves with Kim Jinyoung leading!
Kim Ho-jong and Lee Soo-hyuk hunkered ahead?!
Enemy shifts.
Siwoo pulls.
Bang!
Lee Siwoo's Force bullet pierces Kim Jinyoung's leg again! HP over half gone—critical!
Psych win! Expected head/body, swung blade—but Siwoo went legs!
Kim Jinyoung's face twists.
'Damn...!!'
Thigh direct hit drops him critical. Needs regroup.
But Kaiserst won't let 'em breathe.
Kim Ho-jong charges! Buffed by Lee Soo-hyuk's support—solo dive!
Aaand Park Chan-seong joins! Red Force panic—bad shape!!
Ho-jong and Chan-seong, accel-buffed, swarm.
"Fight 'em! I'll recover and take sniper!"
"Got it!"
Red Force goes split-skirmish.
Teamfight would've favored numbers—but sniper check kills that.
Defenders clash!
Boom! Park Chan-seong vs. Red Force defender. Hammer swings, shield blocks. Brutal melee.
But shield defender packs SMG. Chan-seong mounts barrel over.
Rat-tat-tat!
No huge damage, but mounting. Red Force defender yields.
"Fine, just nab sniper! Good angles!"
Meanwhile, Red Force vs. Ho-jong/Soo-hyuk yell.
"Jinyoung, recovery done!"
Kim Jinyoung patches. Not full HP, but mobile—mark sniper now.
"Sniper's mine!"
Moment he crests cover.
Siwoo Force-enhances. Body glows blue. Kim Jinyoung's eyes sharpen.
'Focus!'
Eyes wide, vision tunnels. Siwoo's aim: head. Smile creeps on Jinyoung.
Leg shots twice—trajectory familiar. Parryable!
'Far range—time to react!'
Arm moves to slash.
But then—
Whoosh!
"...?!"
Siwoo's body spins sideways, full rotation. Glinting blue barrel traces curve afterimage.
Rotation Shot.
Bang!
"...!!"
Head pierced.
Kim Jinyoung's vision grays.
Dead.
But worse than the death:
'What the hell's a rotation shot...?'
Rotation shot.
What otherworldly tech?
'Human aim?'
At this dust-speck distance, no drop calc?
Spinning off-center, balance wrecked?
"Big deal," you say? FPS vets know.
Drop-range hits need trial-error minimum.
VR Overlant? Moving targets? Absurd.
Fine, luck/form—normie snipers maybe.
But Siwoo spun mid-move, re-aimed, headshot.
Believable?
"...Hah."
Kim Jinyoung laughs in disbelief.
Rotation shot! What kinda firing is that?! Never seen it!
Red Force crisis—lose Kim Jinyoung, no sniper mark!
With sniper-mark Kim Jinyoung deleted, the rest crumbles.
Siwoo's cover fire relentless! Red Force must retreat!
No retreat! Frontal push only—but that fire...!!
Aaah, Red Force! Defender aside, no survivors!
Siwoo storm sweeps Red Force—bones only left!
Kaiserst leads by 50! But clock's ticking!
Broadcast, stands—Kaiserst fans roar everywhere. Long mockery ends.
Last season: OCK zero wins.
Undisputed weakest.
Stigma sheds.
Siwoo pushes forward! Locking 'em down to farm!
Ho-jong and Chan-seong cover! Can't touch him!
After that.
Siwoo's ruthless sniping pins Red Force—fish in a barrel.
Force bullet hits again! Red Force screams!
Score climbs?! Not even 20-min game?!
Why so quick!!
Match under 20 minutes.
A, GG! Kaiserst hits 200 first—victory!
16:12 game time! Shortest OCK win ever! Amazing, Kaiserst!
Match over.
