Checked the time as soon as I woke up: 9 AM.
Ever since my body changed, my biological clock has been weird too. I used to be perfectly fine until 3 or 4 AM...
These days, I get tired past 10 PM, and by 11 PM, my eyes just close on their own.
For the past few days, I've just been repeating Goblin hunting alone in the Goblin Dungeon. It's convenient because Seol-ah-unni pulled some strings to let me in even though I'm alone.
But Goblins are so weak. I only struggled the first day because I didn't know any better, but from the second day on, they just fall over if I tap them, so it's not fun.
Yesterday, I even saw a Goblin called a Goblin Shaman that uses weird magic, but in the end, it was just the same old Goblin, so it was a one-shot kill.
Fighting that Goblin Great thing was fun. But it hasn't appeared since then. They say it's normal for it not to show up, though...
The quests that pop up occasionally were the same. Just quests like "kill a few Goblins" or the usual "go out and help people."
If there's one thing I've figured out, it's the conditions for the quests to appear. Whenever I go out to look for them after they pop up, there's always someone nearby who looks like they need help.
It's not like someone is actually watching me... it's just really fascinating.
And since Seol-ah-unni sent me the money from selling the belt, I'm not short on cash right now either.
So, it was only natural that I ended up rolling around at home.
Just then, while I was browsing the Puripan Gallery out of habit, a post caught my eye.

It's official that she loses to Bluebell and Ivy, and maybe because there was so much talk about White Lily, the characters in the sequel were clearly designed to be strong from the start.

What caught my eye was the Hunter Gallery, which is always at the top of the post activity rankings.
It's a place I wouldn't have even glanced at in the past, but now it's different. Even if I'm D-rank, I awakened anyway!
It means I can proudly write posts now too.

Went with a newbie party of one C-rank and three D-ranks, almost died when we met it, but some girl saved us.
If not for that, I would've really gone to the afterlife.

As I opened the fridge door like usual, what greeted me was the inside of an empty fridge.
"Ugh... I wasn't planning on leaving the house today for the first time in a while."
When I turned my gaze to the closet, I saw the clothes Seol-ah-unni had bought for me hanging there.
It was the result of me constantly organizing the men's clothes and hanging up the new clothes I received.
The men's clothes... I can't bring myself to throw them away, so I stuffed them deep in the closet. You never know. What if I suddenly turn back into a man one day?
"Even so, since I received them, it's right to wear them, right...?"
I changed my clothes and headed to the convenience store I used to frequent. It's a bit of a distance, but I feel more comfortable at the place I always go to.
The shopping ended without any problems. The part-timer looked at me with curious eyes, but that was it. They didn't talk to me.

It was a bear-shaped jelly I'd never eaten before, but looking at it made me crave it. It's tastier than I thought.
I grabbed a week's worth of instant ramen, a few rolls of kimbap, and some extra snacks I wanted to try.

There are two types of Gates.
The first is an Open-type Gate. A gate appears, and various monsters pop out from inside. In this case, the gate disappears after spitting out the monsters.
The second is an Entry-type Gate. Hunters must enter the gate themselves and clear the quest for it to disappear; if they fail to clear it within a certain period, a break occurs and monsters pop out.
And usually, gates that set off alarms like this are...

Compared to their size, the monsters were just numerous, but they weren't a big deal. I don't even need to transform into White Lily for guys like these.
I was calmly punishing the rushing wolf monsters one by one, when along with the siren, I saw hunters' cars arriving one by one from afar.
Even I, who hadn't been interested in hunters until then, could recognize the emblem. It was Gaon, one of the four major guilds in South Korea.

"It-it's Baek Kang-hyuk! It's him in the flesh!"
A man landed right in front of me with a tremendous force and a huge roar. As he swung his massive greatsword, the rushing wolf monsters were all torn apart at once.
He only swung his sword once, but the concrete floor cracked, and dust rose up thickly.
"D-did a person just fall from the sky?!"
The man scanned his surroundings quickly and then walked toward me.
'Sc-scary...'
I don't know why, but his angry-looking expression, sharp gaze, and massive physique. All of it felt like pressure.
"Wh-why are you doing this..."
The confidence I had gained from saving citizens just a moment ago vanished without a trace, and I shrank back without realizing it.
In the suffocating atmosphere.
"You're going to scare the kid, Baek Kang-hyuk! What on earth are you doing?"
From out of nowhere, a woman hit the man on the back of his head.
"Gasp."
Is he okay? Isn't he going to get angry suddenly?
"No... I was just trying to ask if they were okay..."
"If you approach a kid with a face like that, even a perfectly fine kid would cry."
The woman who appeared suddenly scolded the man and then immediately approached me.
"I'm sorry. Our guild leader is usually like that. But he's a good person, you know? Please understand."
"It-it's okay!"
Perhaps because the Gaon Guild hunters arrived, the situation was resolved without any room for me to intervene anymore.
